    Piatti’s has very little Italian ambience. Our waiter was awkwardly demanding, and off putting. He insisted when we were ready to order the entrées we put some menus together to signal him. A very bizarre request that he made more than once.   The wine list had very few recognizable selections, and the food was poorly prepared. The only good thing was the outdoor setting. Cross it off your list

    Piatti's serves up really good food and the price is more reasonable than many other restaurants around. I recommend it!

    I am embarrassed to say I can’t remember our waiters name and he was so good! It was my mom‘s 95th birthday celebration and he treated her like a queen. The only negative is that the inside of the restaurant was quite empty, and we were seated right next to a table for two. That didn’t make much sense to me, but the rest of our lunch was fabulous!

    It was a fabulous setting. The calamari was perfect. For me (I’m a chef who worked in Europe) the carpaccio wasn’t great in my opinion. I’m used to using filet mignon. It’s raw do you want some pink-red. Sliced so thin that it covers all the plate. A little olive oil with fresh lemon. Shaved Parmesan and capers. This had a brownish color, truffle oil (nooooooo) fried capers👍 shaved asparagus and finely grated cheese. As I said this is just my personal opinion. The service was impeccable.

    Beautiful restaurant and great service. Unfortunately, the dishes we ordered were not great. Maybe we just ordered the wrong items but the mushroom pasta was not good, lacked flavor/under seasoned. The Caprese Benedict also wasn’t great. The hollandaise sauce had no flavor and overall was very bland. Bummed because we usually like Piattis but this visit was off.

    Piatti’s has become our new favorite every occasion spot. The food is out of this world. My husband and I are total foodies and what sets Piatti’s apart is how fresh and excellently prepared each dish has been. If you’ve ever made homemade pasta at home, you’ll know the difference between fresh and…well…not so fresh pasta. Piatti’s makes their dough from scratch every morning and it shows! The food really speaks for its self. Aside from the outstanding food, the staff are of some of the best we’ve experienced in the Bay Area. Always friendly and happy to see us. The ambiance of Mt. Tam in the distance, and the beauty of the area make Piatti’s a wonderful place to spend an evening, no matter the occasion. We hope you try and enjoy it as much as we do.

    Great service, nice water views and Mt Tam views. Food was good, but caesar salad was overdressed. Both of our pastas were innovative and tasty. We will be back. We like the remodel.
