Great service. Great food!

1st time visit and will definitely return. Place is lively and the food is outstanding. I had the
Spinach ravioli and it was perfect. They make their own pastas.
Had the tuna special that was fresh and full of flavor.
Of course the view is very beautiful.

Consistently good

It was absolutely freezing. All guests were wearing their coats and jackets. Hostess takes phone orders and reservations, prioritizing the phone over seating guests standing in front of her.

Bread and dipping oil were great. “Lentil” soup was mediocre - no flavor, few lentils. Was much more like a minestrone.

Sunday Brunch was terrific. Tried sitting out on the deck and staff provided blankets!!! Unbelievable!!! But even with them, the wind was too strong and we opted to go back indoors. Hostess and waitstaff were sooo accommodating. Food and drinks are always delish. Thank you for a really nice time.

We came here hoping to try their brunch, but it was on a Saturday. Their website brunch menu doesn’t say whether they have it both Saturday & Sunday, but turns out they only have it on Sunday. They should put that on their website.
I’ve had lunch, happy hour, and dinner here many times, but never thought about this place for brunch before.
Thought we’d give it a go.
Anyhow we still enjoyed our meal...the daily special risotto.
And the patio is always a lovely place to spend a beautiful weather afternoon!
Looking forward to coming back and trying the brunch on a Sunday. :-)

Piatti is always one of my go to restaurants when I want good food and service at a reasonable price. Went there twice this past week for my birthday and the wait staff always take such good care of me and I love the chef special risotto.!!

I will keep coming back and keep up the great job.

We ordered three courses of foods servings, an appetizer, a salad and a pizza. All three were originally served at the time, so we sent the second and main course back. After the first two the pizza was returned only to find out that it wasn't what we had originally ordered. This resulted in a fairly long wait.

Piatti is without a doubt one of my favorite go to restaurants for casual dining or a special event.
The food is always excellent - the chef does a fabulous job with the risotto! The service is professional and efficient and I always get my table with a view.
I can count on Piatti every time I dine there to be an enjoyable experience.

This is one of our favorite restaurants. The food is consistently delicious!!! Our out-of-town guests loved their meals. In fact, one of the said that the rib-eye was one of the best he has had. Our waiter was terrific — friendly, helpful, and attentive. However, it took more than an hour to receive our food order. Our salads came out within a reasonable time, but the main dishes took over an hour, leading us to have to inquire about our order.

I met a family member there, and we ate on the outdoor patio with my dog (and as you can see in the photo, she went for a dip right outside the restaurant after lunch). Splendid view, courteous and efficient service, great food selection. One of my favorite spots in Marin!

Very nice lunch on the deck with beautiful views. Olives, asparagus, and pizza were awesome. Service was very friendly, knowledgeable , and prompt. Would return.

Hostess and waiter were great! Calamari app was super small and the pizza wasn’t very good. Piattis should be known for their pizzas. Come on guys. Rest of food was good

Waiter was excellent. Service was slow but only because there were many tables for waiter to cover.
Food was just right.

Special request was honored

We sat at our table for 45 minutes without ever seeing our server. I had to politely inform the hostess who was shocked. The manager came over and apologized and offered an appetizer. We thought things were looking up however the pace only slightly improved. The entire dinner lasted 2 hours and 45 minutes as we watched other tables come and go. The food was average - some good and some poor. Quite frankly what was most shocking happened when we first entered the restaurant. There was a patron at one of the high, shared tables that had her shoe off and her barefoot resting on top of the table while she picked at her toes and talked to her friend. Truly disgusting and no one said anything to her.

Waiter made a great evening.
We live relatively close by Piatti so have dined there more than 5 times in the last few years. We always enjoy their appetizers and main dishes and the outside deck when it's warm. This time we were drawn by a Facebook message showing a great cioppino...only to find they didn't have any. The waiter was able to convince the kitchen to make it so all was well. Bread service, water always good and wine list deep enough with about a double markup keeping things in an acceptable value range. Pizzas are thin crust and while the tiniest bit soggy at the center, were nicely portioned and prepared. Dessert and cappuccinos also very good. We will continue to return.

Try to get corner table with view of water if 4 or more- stunning views especially ~ sunset. Admiral drink with rye was a big hit. Portions are aplenty, nice to have choice of smaller pasta dishes. Chopped salad was enjoyed by 3 ( normal size) and roasted Brussel sprouts were delicious. Ribeye special steak was cooked to perfection over mashed potatoes and braised spinach, and prawn fettuccini were excellent. Valet parking a big plus. Highly recommended!

Subpar service this time. Will come again after a reassuring chat with management. Great food, lovely views at sunset over the lake and hills, and usually very kind & attentive staff.

It was so noisy with out of control toddlers & parents that thinks they're at Chuckie-cheese. Even giving them the Hairy-eye didn't work. Unfortunately, management did nothing to calm the issue with the parents. Other than that, great time with buds.

Three old friends walked into Piatti and found just the right ambiance and cuisine for a pleasant reunion. A delicious Umbrian wine was the perfect complement to a simple but delicious lunch.

I like Piatti a lot. Go there frequently on Sundays to celebrate. The food maintains a consistent level of quality.
On comment, not a criticism, their Fish Stew would be better if they had more in depth Fish Stock.

Ask for window or outdoor seating

It was my first visit to Piatti's and I enjoyed it very much except for the noise level. One member of our 4 some had great difficulty conversing with the people at our table as nearby parties were quite loud. Everything else was satisfactory or better. I plan to return but will request a quiet table.

Piatti is a favorite of every memevernof our family. Love the atmosphere, the food , the service... the cocktails.
Staff is always friendly, food consistently superb.
We go both for simple enjoyment of the food or to commemorate special occasions.

Very challenging as I felt they didn't read my notes as I'm hard of hearing and made a special request for a booth or quiet table for private conversation-so that was disappointing.

Great food. Let down by slow and scatterbrained waitress who forgot two parts of our order. Get a notepad.

Greeter at the front door dressed in scruffy jeans and leather jacket (???) , but the rest of the staff much more appropriately dressed for the ambience.

Chefs excellent.

Made last hours rezo and got such great seats by window over water. Perfect for entertaining my friend from out of town. Service friendly and smart. Worth every dollar. Been there before for other friends. Impressed in very good ways.
