Piatti - Denver Ratings and Reviews
Have eaten at Piatti's many times. Wonderful food. Sometimes waitstaff is iffy (kinda grouchy, not easy to find) but our waiter this time was spot on - checked in the right amount, honored requests, made great wine and food suggestions, food came out quickly, etc. Salmon was perfectly prepared and delicious. Salad fresh and flavorful with right amount of dressing. Yummy panna cotta with cappuccino. All good!
We take our family to Piatti’s almost every time we visit Denver and it never disappoints. Service is professional and friendly, food is well prepared and there are many choices as well as daily specials. The housemade pastas and pizzas or outstanding, a favorite being the fettuccine with mushrooms and chili. When our grandchildren were younger they enjoyed making their own pizzas which were always more delicious than if the kitchen had prepared them. Another plus is free valet parking which is much appreciated in Cherry Creek.
We have been going here for years and the food has always been really good. I got the soup of the day (which was very satisfying on a beautiful fall day) and a small salad. My husband got veal saltimbocca. We both really enjoyed our meals and the waiter did a nice job. We will definitely be back.
We brought dear friends from Washington DC to celebrate her 65th birthday. I had asked for a table close to the fireplace for added more than ambience. We loved our table which allowed for quiet conversation, even on a very busy Saturday night.
Our foodie friends absolutely loved the entire meal and said the calamari was the best that they have had anywhere. All four of us had different entrées and all four of us were delighted with them. Our waiter suggested the brussels sprouts to share which were beyond compare.
The wine was delightful as well as the mixed drinks. Our waiter treated our friend to a a delicious desert with a candle in it . We ended the evening with after Dinner liquors.
It could not have been better and we thank the chef as well as the staff for making it such a special birthday for our special friends.
My husband and I are in Denver for our honeymoon and this was our first hopeful experience for dining and it was above and beyond! The food was some of the best and freshest Italian food we've had. They have an extensive wine list but I was feeling a cocktail so I tried their ruby red cosmo which was so delicious. The portion sizes are generous and don't forget to save room for dessert. The tiramisu was to die for and my husband was obsessed with the vanilla gelato. (Also props to whoever made my cappuccino because it had the best frothing I've ever had. ) everything from start to finish was perfect. It's a quaint but sweet setting, great service but not lingering which was nice. If we come back to Denver this will be a great place to come back to!
Always a good bet for Italian, this is a choice I make having lived a few blocks from it for years. Now I drive a half hour to get there because I can count on it to be authentic and consistent in high quality dining. The growing density of Cherry Creek drove us away, but the dining experience at Piatti’s draws us back.
Pork chop special was not too special, and I could have gone for less sauce over the chops. My guests mushroom risotto was bland, yet earthy, but lacking on essential spices to maximize flavors. Calamari app was great, as was the remoulade sauce accompanying it. Overall nice, but nothing worthy of anything but a short drive. Ambiance nice. Feels much like a neighborhood jaunt than a notable restaurant.
We've been going to Piatti's for several years. The food is excellent with a great assortment of Italian dishes. The service is great and if you can get Wendy as your server you should be in for a wonderful time - she has a great sense of humor - in addition to excellent customer service.
Piatti is always a delight. I can always find something on the menu to suit my whims, although I tend to order the spaghetti Bolognese and half of the grilled prosciutto wrapped romaine salad. The restaurant is pretty and the atmosphere is bustling but not overwhelming. Service is attentive. Valet parking is a definite plus for a busy Cherry Creek location.
