Piatti - Denver
This was our first time at Piatti, and we were not disappointed. I had the salmon, and my husband and son had the roast chicken. My salmon was undercooked, so our server took it back and brought a whole new plate with a perfectly cooked salmon. The place is cozy with fire places at each end, fairly quiet, and service was excellent.
Great food and setting
Our waiter was great
I have never been disappointed with Piatti - Denver. Consistently great food, friendly atmosphere, and you can’t beat the valet parking.
Great relaxing place to have a conversation mixed with good food and excellent service
One of my favorite neighborhood restaurants. The food is always delicious and consistent. Service is excellent. The restaurant is comfortable with an open kitchen. Great wine list. Valet parking a huge plus.
Our server was a bit forgetful, had to ask for bread at least 3 times. Was disappointed no gluten free crust for the pizza so GF options were minimal. Otherwise an excellent experience and would come back again.
We always enjoy Piatti, but Sat. night was especially good — great table, excellent waiter & great food!
The food was excellent as always!
Second time at Piatti. The first time was pretty decent, although the waiter was not very good. Good stuff: the grilled prosciutto/romaine salad with walnut lemon dressing was interesting and tasty, soup was good, the spinach ricotta ravioli was very good, and the fettuccine was good (great meatballs!) . Now the bad: waitstaff just seems to be a bit off, not terrible but not excellent. The fusilli dish looked and was pretty bad. The chicken pieces in it looked like they were the scraped leftovers from their roasted chicken, no chunks and some questionable hangings on to the meat. I was looking forward to the roasted chicken as the reviews were good, and I was extremely disappointed. The chicken was no better, and even a little worse than those you buy at the market. No spice that I could see and the skin was not crisp. The menu says it comes with a honey roasted carrot. What appeared on the plate was a single, fairly large carrot that had been peeled and I saw absolutely no sign of roasting involved. It tasted like a straight up steamed carrot. The look of the plate was very sad. Picture a half, sadly roasted chicken with a single carrot lying next to it. That's it. No garni, nothing. Overall the majority of dishes were bland at best, service was so-so, and the atmosphere is nothing special.
We look forward to dining at Piatti when we visit Denver, and we’re not disappointed with this experience. The food is always excellent. We love the homemade pasta dishes - all of them! The meatballs are superb - light and flavorful. Start with calamari, which is fried in cornmeal and accompanied by fried veggies. Piatti hits a great sweet spot, with excellent food in a nice setting and very reasonable prices.
The veal was so good and the bread pudding I could have eaten two it was so good.
Having been coming here for years. It is consistently excellent -- the kind of place you want to come back to again and again
Great food, and nice atmosphere. We came for a small celebration which included a 7 year old. She loved building her own pizza. The waiter overheard that this was a birthday celebration and brought a dessert on his own initiative; also corked our wine for us.
It was great! They were easily able to accommodate a group of 10 of us and the table made it so it was still intimate. Great service and great food!
Food was wonderful. We sat outside on the patio and there was essentially no noise. We had a very pleasant, unrushed, tasty lunch & dessert with the opportunity to converse without shouting and attentive serve staff - very nice!
Always great food & ambiance at Piatti's. Our waitresses, Wendy, did a fabulous job. Had the saffron pasta with shrimp which was delicious with a light sauce & many shrimp. My husband loved the ricotta meatballs & the buffalo mozzarella app was delightful.
The food, service and ambiance of Piatti makes it one of our Denver favorites.
Piatti is a very good italian restaurant that you normally do not hear about. My wife and I had visited the restaurant about 15 years ago, and because of a bad experience had not gone back.
We are happy that we returned. We have been there twice. The first our waiter was extraordinary and the meal was excellent. This last one, the food was very good, but the waitress was hurried and in-attentive.
In spite of this I would recommend that you try this restaurant.
My experience with dining at Piatti is always pleasurable. Great service, attentive but not intrusive and the food is never disappointing, always delicious and presented well. The Bolognese and Calamari are my favs. Still my favorite dining establishment.
Really enjoyable. Service at the bar and table side was great. If we can find a babysitter we’ll be back there tonight.
We had an excellent experience ay Piatti last week. We reserved our table on Open Door and asked for a quiet table. They placed us in a corner where we could update hear conversation across the table within UT raising our voices. The food and service were excellent. Piatti is one of my favorite restaurants.
First trip to Piatti for a family dinner for 7. Good food, solid service and an ambiance condusive to conversation. Will return and recommend.
Another excellent expedience. The service was outstanding and the food delicious. Very efficient valet service. Didn't even have to give him my receipt as he remembered us.
Our waitress (Melanie) was wonderful!! Piatti’s is a must every time we get back to Denver.
Service and ambiance were very nice. My halibut was over cooked.
Very nice. A bit pricy for the caliber of food. Nice patio.
Had the halibut and it was delicious, perfectly cooked, and not dried out. The service was excellent!
My husband and I have been going to Piatti's for the last 18 years and loving it. However he last 2 times we had dinner the food was terrible. The Pappadella pasta with Bolognese sauce, my favorite dish, was overcooked, hard...We had dinner Friday night with friends, I ordered the special $30.00 Halibut ... it was dry, tasteless, same with the risotto, very disappointed.
Food was fabulous, as always. Love the complimentary valet parking! Highly recommend it!!
Food and service were outstanding.
The food was good but not as outstanding as previous years. A little expensive for the quality, but setting is wonderful and service was excellent.
We've been eating at Piatti for over 30 years. It STILL sets the standard for Cherry Creek! Great food and service. Well trained wait staff.
Lunch with professional colleagues— always a dependable good quality meal & service
Parking is more of a challenge these days but that is the norm for Cherry Creek North
The food left something to be desired for an Italian spot. It was fine, but really not all that great. There are plenty of other Italian spots in the area that I would choose over going here.
Delicious food and Great service.
We are new to Denver and this was an awesome first meal out , will certainly return.
Piatti is a favorite restaurant. For the first time, I felt my meal was just ok. Probably an off night.
It was a wonderful evening with good friends, great service, and wonderful food! I had the fish stew and it was one of the best I have had. I actually picked up the bowl to drink the broth. Yum!
Love this special restaurant!!!
