   It is a neighborhood gem..the food equals any Italian cuisine in the city. The staff is attentive, friendly and efficient.

   Awesome, as usual. Owner is great and amicable. Food tastes awesome, and Monday is 1/2 price wine. Give it a try.

   Had a wonderful dinner with 4 good friends. Love the zucchini blossoms. The halibut was very tasty. At the end of a great meal we were gifted with a great tiramisu

   Second time we have dined there. This time we invited freinds. The food was excellent. Special accomodation to the meals (no tree nuts, pasta insted of potatoes, no truffle oil) were met with out question or resistance. One of the dishes was kind of luke warm when served ( rigatoni ristico). I had ordered Pinot Grigio which did not taste like any Pinot Grigio I had ever had. Too heavy. When I ordered again, I think I got a Sauvignon Blanc instead. DIdn't make a big deal but was disappointed. The beet salad is to die for, by the way!

   Outstanding experience from start to finish! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The food was amazing and the service exceptional! I highly recommend it and will definitely be coming back!

   Great experience. The octopus was delicious. And pastas the best in Chicago. Iván excelente server very attentive in all details. We will back soon

    We finally found time to try Piacere Mio. Overall, we were not disappointed, but if you are looking for an intimate dining experience, you might be disappointed. The tables are arranged for maximum occupancy, and given the small size of the resaurant, it accounts for the noise. That being said, the service was fabulous; accommodating with just the right amount and timing of their attention. We started with a calamari appetizer, lightly breaded and accompanied by two dipping sauces, one of which resembles a remoulade, but smokier. For entrees, we had a gemelli with shrimp in a pesto sauce. Good, but the pesto was a bit overwhelming, and a Tagliatele with seafood in a light tomato and cream sauce. Fabulous taste. Definitely worth checking out.
