Phuc Yea offers a selection of shareable plates that capture the soulfulness and passion behind family-rooted recipes, the restaurant is inspired by Aniece Meinhold's Vietnamese heritage and Cesar Zapata's Third Coast culinary roots. Under one roof, guests are invited to marvel at Biscayne's blossoming Mimo District; embrace 90's hip-hop, street-cool music; and enjoy Cesar's version of Viet- Cajun cuisine - a lively mash up of fresh and colorful Vietnamese ingredients pumped up with spicy, bold Cajun flavors. This grown up version of Phuc Yea is largely seafood driven.

    Food was good but we were really unsatisfied with the service we had. We were two and we ordered three plates, the server said that’s it??? Very rudely and we said yes is that ok? And she left. Then she came back saying something like we should have the whole experience and not what we were having, again really unnecessary. We asked what she recommended to have the whole experience and she pointed out to the most expensive plates in the menu. Out of the three things we didn’t have one delivered so we order the check and left. It is unfortunate that the 20% mandatory tip is included because we didn’t feel like the server deserved even a portion of it. The two plates that we had were good. One came with instructions and everything.. I guess it’s part of the show. I will not come back to this restaurant.

    Our experience at Phuc Yea was fantastic. Our server gave a very in-depth description of the menu. We had the short rib, which was extremely tender. I highly recommend it with the bao buns and pickled vegetables. Our server, recommended the watermelon salad to complement the flavors of the short rib and it was a very refreshing compliment to the dish. The cocktails were also on point! Highly recommend this spot.

    Great restaurant with delicious food and fabulously kind service. Divine salad of cucumbers, or watermelon, Chinese brócolis, masitas with fresh baos…divine savors!!!! As everywhere in Miami too expensive and 20% tip directly on the bill which should never be the case, but you don’t feel bad about it because the overall experience is so fantastic. Absolutely recommended

    The service was top tier from the hostess at the front, the mixologists behind the bar, to the waiters table side .. all very pleasant and eager to please. The food was delicious and surprisingly tasty down to even the jasmine rice. I loved the entire ambience, music, decor and of course the menu selections. Definitely returning with friends next time. Thank you for a delectable evening!

    This was an amazing experience. I’m from Michigan and came to Florida on a work trip and my friend suggested this places as she frequent a it quite often. 10/10 would recommend. Our sever, Omar I believe is their name, was so knowledgeable about the whole menu and all of the recommendations were delish. Thank you for a lovely evening.

    Lived up to the hype. Great food with new taste palate and texture. Portions were large for the price in Maimi. only word of advice is that they try to get you to order everything at once, because of the tapas style of service, but it feels a little rushed. Still, all in all , a great evening.

    My husband and I decided to have our date night at Phuc Yea. Food was delicious and the ambience was great. Enjoyed the music too! We ordered the chicken Bao buns, grilled octopus, and beef short ribs. Delicious!

    Moved my reservation to before 7 and chose to sit at the bar to get HH specials. Did not disappoint. Matty was great, and all the bartenders were so fun. Everything, food, drinks, and staff, was amazing. We kept saying we were broken for any food experiences after this one. I only wish I got another order of the PY noodles to have leftovers today! (And maybe a t-shirt) 10/10

    Waited an hour for our reserved table hostesses condescending with fake smiles will not return there are amazing restaurants in Miami don’t need to patronize an unprofessional one. They need better management for sure.

    Food was ok, but calling pickles a dish and having them $10-20 is a cheek. Not enough options in entrees. We ordered about 5-6 dishes and they were all side dishes at entrée prices with the only actual dish being the short rib. So we ended up with a giant bill and one entrée with a bunch of small plates around it that would normally at another restaurant just come automatically with a dish. Surprised. But the ambience is great, and they were very nice. But they need to reconsider, giving more value in terms of the actual food at these staggering prices for people to keep coming back.
