Fab all around
There aren’t that many tables, so they have a strict policy that all your party has to be on time. Thankfully we are a small group and we just ate at the bar. Worth the wait. We had the frosé and the basic b*tch for happy hour drinks. Both delicious. We ordered the summer roll. It’s a big roll, so please share! Also ordered the sweet and sour bao bun and the our friends ordered the cod bao buns. Sweet and sour bb was a huge hit, we ordered more of those but the cod one was a real bust. We will be back!
New Year’s Eve.
Always amazing! Chef Cesar and Ani always hit it out of the park!
The New Years Eve dinner menu for Vegans was delicious!! Every thing was good. The DJ was great and it was a nice ambience. We had a lot of fun!!
Food was amazing Server was Great . I gotta say only thing is they have a couple tables that are just to small to eat on . For it being NYE it was Great Service.
Food was amazing ! We will be back for sure. The slow roasted rib with the bao buns was delectable
Great food and drink experience. Loved the music selection as well. Service very fast and attentive.
We were running 15 minutes late and even called ahead to tell them. They gave us a hard time saying the kitchen was closing. We arrived and they sat someone who came in after us without reservations. They sat us without any hassle and took our food orders. Then the waiter came back and said they were out of several items we had ordered so we ordered different food. The waiter asked us to order quickly as the kitchen was “giving him a hard time” because they wanted to close. We ordered the replacements quickly. then after the first round of food came out the manager came to tell us we wouldn’t be getting some of our food because the kitchen closed. At that point we had already started eating the appetizers and drinks. Additionally food came out not as requested. The chef left and we were stuck with a partial meal and food we didn’t order and food not prepared the way we wanted. The manager proceeded to blame us for coming at 9 instead of 8:45 and when we pointed out they sat someone before us that came in after us and fed them, she continued to blame us. Our waiter was amazing. It’s a shame the manager and chef aren’t interested in good customer service or accountability. Won’t be going there again.
Food was exceptional. Service could not have been better. Noise level is way too much!!
Lovely atmosphere, great drinks, portions for sharing
I wish I lived in Miami so I could come back to Phuc Yea over and over again. The fire roasted oysters were amazing, as was the masitas (we got it with extra bao buns, which was a great idea). But the dish I will be dreaming about for weeks to come was the hot buttered crabby noodles...we should have ordered several bowls of it.
Delicious! And the team did an amazing job of accommodating the needs of our group.
We brought a friend who was visiting for dinner and as always we had an amazing experience
We’ve been coming to this restaurant on and off for well over a year. The service remains fantastic and the ambience and vibe is a lot of fun.
But something has changed, it’s almost as though they sold the place or at minimum changed the chef. Not knowing any better it feels like different ownership.
It’s sad, but we may be hard-pressed to go back. Each prior visit we would finish dinner I would rave about the quality and uniqueness of the food. Not this time.
Every time I come here I’m always sat right away, the food is AMAZING and full Of so much flavor. The service is ALWAYS great. The waitresses are very friendly. The Decor is fabulous and there’s just an all around dope vibe here! I highly recommend PHUC YEA!
Excellent and original
I have been looking for a good bowl of Pho since moving to Sofla and finally found it! Outstanding. The papaya salad and other app left something to be desired. But the pho is worth a visit. Note, very large beautiful shareable portions!
We ordered the spring rolls and they were burnt. My date ordered the steak and eggs which didn’t have any flavor and he ended up not finishing the food. I had the shrimp and grits and that was ok. The service was good and our server was excellent. The mimosas are good.
Great flavors, fun ingredients, no missteps. Highly recommend for some fun dining....and drinking...choices.
The food was incredible! Do yourself a favor and order the hot buttered crabby noodles (but FYI I tried everything that my friends ordered and it was all good). The only reason I didn't give five stars for everything is because there was a misunderstanding with how happy hour worked. The manager did intervene, and the situation was eventually rectified. I will absolutely recommend friends and family go by when they are in Miami!
It was very different and really wonderful!
This was my second time going here. My first visit was much better. I found the food this time around very salty and spicy although we asked for no spice or mild. Also we waited a long time for our dessert as well and wasn't as good as the first time having the bread pudding. I would not come back on the first reservation on a Sunday. Would come back when it busy.
Excellent as always, but this is the second time we had a very attitudinal waiter, he’s really a jerk and brought our experience down rather than up.
They changed their menu and it’s not as good as the old one
Great meal and service- so pleased with the dishes we ordered as we don’t have anything like this back home. Will definitely be back.
Amazing food and amazing atmosphere! Will definitely be returning!
We noticed the quality of the food has gone down from previous visits. Not sure how much longer this restaurant will remain open. Seems like if its on a down-slope.
The place is always good. You can go in a tuxedo or jeans and they treat you the same.
Most of the food was very good but I had a sandwich like lunch which was mediocre,
I joined friends for brunch here last Sunday September 2019.
We ended up partaking in the Miami spice brunch which if you choose to do so the whole table has to join in. We ended up adding their version of sanpocho...
Starting with her cocktails they're all amazing and really well-balanced. We had appetizers that were biscuits with a honey and then a sausage butter however they were not explained to us and we had to ask what they were. Then we had a kind of spring roll which was light and delicious with a nice hoisin style sauce, and finally a Columbia style empanada ( I say Colombian because the shell was a thick corn and not flour). The appetizers and the sun boat show or sancocho style soup was the best.
The shrimp and grits were okay but not as Fabulous As I would expect it considering how good the appetizers were and the bombing sandwich was basically an egg breakfast sandwich with little Chinese sausages on it.
Ambiance was fun, I would go again but I don't think I would do the brunch I would have a couple appetizers and drinks at the bar.
Walking into the restaurant you are transported to SE Asia with a funky irreverent vibe. And it only gets better. The drinks were amazing and the food heavenly. We let our server decide our meal and did not regret it. Can’t wait to come back!
Love this place! I will definitely be back! Humongous portions l, the ambiance was lively and hip! I loved that the plates are shareable! You wouldn’t expect this gem from the outside but the inside blew me out the water! And they play good music 🎶
Family style. Expect to share everything and enjoy!
Went here for Miami spice, everything was absolutely delicious! Drinks were great and our serve was awesome. The brekky noodles were some of the tastiest I’ve had in a while
Great food and music, but the seating was way too crowded.
Great Sunday lunch - wonderful brunch and Sunday only menu - friendly alternative cuisine which frankly is Vietnamese soul food! Must try
Unusual blend of Vietnamese and Cajun very tasty and satisfying.
Best ribs I have ever had! Good size portions.
Love the music and the vibes was cool. Food was great. Went during Miami Spice. Great value for the menu!
