   Our server was absolutely fabulous! Loved her personality and friendliness. Meal presentation and flavour is great! I will definitely recommend the Phoenix Steakhouse. Thank you, we will be back!

   Steak was cooked correctly but a bit too much steak spice made it very salty. Sauce on sushi steak medallions dish was too sweet and saucy. Flavors could have been more delicate.

    Ribeye and prawn roll was mediocre. Best part of the meal was the complementary bread. I made that comment to the waitress and she said a lot of people say that which is my opinion is an issue for a Steakhouse because it really should be the steak that is the best part of the meal. The food is not worth the prices at this place Edited: in response to the restaurants addition, yes my daughter really enjoyed the salmon Oscar. While my review only focussed on the food, we did really enjoy our evening at the restaurant.

I think what she was meaning to have come across did not as we both have chatted as we all do enjoy the bread. Sorry you did not enjoyed the 16oz Ribeye we source from Alberta and spend extra just to have the special center cut only so it's tender and delicious. Hope your dining companion enjoyed the delicious Salmon Oscar. We do our best to keep prices down and competitive as a small local place and always try and give value.

    The food is always so delicious! A little loud this visit, but it was a Friday night so I wasn’t shocked or anything. The staff is always phenomenal too.

    The biggest issue was the pouring of the 14oz draft beer(s). On most occasions the 14 oz glasses contained 3/4” of head. When you advertise a 14oz sleeve, it should be 14oz of liquid. We addressed the issue with our server and she said basically that is how they pour. Fortunately we have other options as well.

The liquid is not suppose to fill to the brim like you are suggesting otherwise they would be like 22 oz pints etc... there is suppose to be head of 1 inch on a beer, it prevents carbonation from escaping & becoming flat. No where fills it right to the brim with liquid I did mention that it is suppose to have head. We have some of the cheapest beer prices in town. all the best with the other options in town, your sever & owner, Megan

    Sat upstairs. Ordered steak. It was great but the asparagus was not cooked well or was old. Not expected at a restaurant like this. Sushi was good but red peppers were not in the description on the menu and I do not like red peppers at all. Ruined the dish for me personally. Muscles were great. We might go back but not super eager to.

Asparagus is not in season right now but has been usually looking great as a reason we have kept it , we will check to see that it has been cooked enough but not as to be mush. I'm assuming you had the green dragon roll as no other sushi has red peppers in it. We do say vegetable tempera and it's common to tempura - had you let your server know it wrecked your meal we would have happily made you one without. All the best, Megan

    Everything is delicious! Drinks and desserts especially amazing. I love the portions, big enough we still took some home but not so big that it felt wasteful. Staff are so sweet and attentive, love the decor!!

    Everything was amazing, the only downside was our table was extremely small table for 2 put in the back of the room. Was a special occasion so would have enjoyed a better seat but that didn’t take away from how amazing the restaurant is. Next time will request a booth instead.

    Had a day late Valentine's dinner and the service was outstanding with our server Riley. She was bubbly, thorough and was there for our every need. Food portion we shared and the portions were pre split and delicious ! A wonderful experience for sure. Thank you Riley, the chef and all your staff.

    My food (12oz strip loin with lobster) was outstanding my wife’s salmon was mushy and didn’t taste right.

    This was the best steak I have ever had. I don't normally eat steak but was told by my son that I had to have that along with oscar. My son gave me a gift certificate for Christmas - delightful gift.

    Couldn’t eat the sirloin - super chewy, spit out four bites. Ambiance for Valentines Day was disappointing. Sat upstairs in a bar atmosphere, not even a placemat for $100+ per person

If you need linens or a "placemat" to make it fancy we would have been happy to sit you downstairs had you asked. Our menu on our website is always accurate as well as open table. There are some third party places I cannot get old menus down but this item hasn't been available for over 6 months.     From start to finish, the whole experience was outstanding. The host was friendly and welcoming, our server was attentive and offered great recommendations, and the atmosphere was on point. We shared an the beef tartare and ordered entrees as well. All of which was delicious! We will definitely be back. Thank you to all of the wonderful staff for a great night out in Vernon!

    We started with the calamari which was tender and very good. My wife had good the tenderloin which was excellent. I had the blackened chicken which was just spicy enough and the warm potatoe salad as well as the slaw was a nice addition. Prices are a bit high but to be expected these days for fine dining.

    This restaurant is my favorite!!! The food was absolutely amazing!! We had the stuffed mushrooms to start, then a ribeye and the crab dinner for our mains. Everything was cooked to perfection, and we felt very well taken care of! We will be back

    The food is very good overall. Although I was disappointed by the very very small portion of salmon in the Salmon Oshi Sushi dish, (less than the amount in a maki roll and far less than a single piece of nigiri in most sushi restaurants) I wont order that again.
