Phoenix City Grille Ratings and Reviews
We had our New Years Eve dinner there and Grayson was personable and efficient. Although I had to ask for the cocktails we ordered from the person who delivered our appetizer (!), that was really the only hiccup on an incredibly busy night. The bacon wrapped shrimp with some sort of cheese inside probably broke four or five commandments, and they were delicious. The Flank Steak with cucumber relish was cooked just right and the roasted Brussels Sprouts on mashed potatoes (?) were so, so good. Thanks PCG for another great evening and Happy New Year.
Another excellent dinner at Phoenix City Grille. Plenty of choices on the menu for meat eaters and vegetarians alike. Lots of interesting appetisers, sandwiches, salads and entrees. While I no longer eat them, I remember that the short-ribs are succulent. I had a veggie plate that wasn't up to par, but our appetisers and salad were as desired. I'd go there again arriving early as we did this time because parking can be an issue.
Always a favorite for flavorful dishes, friendly service and excellent value. Running on to Tony Bennett concert, so did not have as much time. Tried bacon stuffed shrimp as a quick bite that a friend loves. It was tasty and different along with a decent size glass of wine. Love that it is not skimpy. My friend raved about the soup which the waitress described as a chicken noodle soup without the noodles but chuck full of veggies. She had the salmon on th board and said it is some of the best cooked salmon around. This place never disappoints and has a great formula to bring in diners over and over again. Good email marketing too.
Phoenix City Grille is a great restaurant for a quick or relaxing lunch depending on your time allotment. The service is friendly and ask when seating if you are in a hurry. The daily specials always include the soup of the day, tomato with a ribbon of pesto, on our visit, as well as a salad option. I enjoyed the short rib machaca tacos with a side salad. They have a extensive list of wines available by the glass or bottle as well as craft beers on tap.
I have never been disappointed dining here.
First time in Phx City Grille, The restaurant looks a little to conservative for me but was impress with the food I order the Salmon it was delicious perfect temperature , The server I believed his name is Ryan it was excellent very professional and attentive with all this new restaurants now a days I have not had a very polite and professional and caring servers. I love it
When the server tells customers about the special, he or she should mention the price. I was quite surprised when the bill came and my entree was substantially higher than other items on the menu. Had I known I wouldn't have ordered it. It was good but not 50% better than other entrees.
