   My wife and I decided to visit Phillip M’s because it's considered the best fine dining restaurant in the South, receiving Wine Spectator’s “Award of Excellence" in 2022. Well, their wine might be excellent but their food was sub-par. My wife's filet was overcooked and her baked potato was undercooked. Her comment was "we could have gone down the street and got a better meal at Mcalisters and it wouldn't have cost $183.00"! Maybe the Chef was having an off night. I'm not going to spend another $183.00 to find out.

   The service was impeccable. The food was outstanding in taste and presentation. My husband had the red snapper and I had the pork chop. My husband is still talking about the generous portions and delicious food. The chop was cooked to perfection. The bread was absolutely delicious with lots of flavor. The only thing I would suggest is to train the wait staff to never correct a prononciation of a food unless it is asked for by the customer. It is rude to unsolicitly correct someone. All in all the experience was excellent.

   Great Food, Service, and Atmosphere. Was there for a birthday dinner and it did not disappoint. We had the steak which was excellent and cheesecake birthday dessert. Will definitely be back.

   Overall the menu selections and food were 5 star . Our server was good but seem to disappear too long. The atmosphere was not what we were accustomed to in fine dining establishments . The bar area was very noisy and a big distraction. Also there was loud intoxicated group of 7 or 8 people and it took several profane outbursts before a manager "checked" on their table.

    Everything was wonderful! Sides are large enough for two people to share. The service was professional and friendly. A nice atmosphere for a delicious dinner. You may even want to dress up, we did! The only negative is the complimentary bread was a bit dry and too salty. Thank you Phillip M’s for the perfect dining experience!

    The safron chowder has changed and the overall dish is not worth the drive to Pearl River Casino (which is the main reason we come to this casino rather than others.) ie: why screw up a winner?

    Biscuits fall apart like last visit and dry. Chicken was dry. Snapper was excellent. Onion soup was excellent. Waitress and staff were very good.

    Our waitress, bartender, and manager Philip were wonderful. They went above and beyond for our dining experience. The fat on the lamb was not rendered properly and the chicken lacked moisture but overall it was a pleasurable experience. The wine pairings and the dessert were exceptional.

    The food was absolutely fantastic. The margaritas was pretty much tequila with a dash of color. The prices- 9$ for baked potato. Seating comfortable. Ambience was awesome. Don't sit near the kitchen door. Bathroom clean. Overall, it was a good place to eat for special occasion. Dress code it casual casual. We had dressed up for date night. But there were other with Blue jeans, ball caps, and tshirts. The servers were super nice, not chatty.

    I had the red snapper, it did not disappoint it was fabulous. The staff was very pleasant and friendly without being intrusive. I would definitely recommend, we will be back, it was a lovely meal.

    This a a fantastic restaurant the decor is up scale the service is wonderful everyone is so friendly the food has a great selection but the steaks are over the top delicious, great choice in sides full bar and wine menu and if you have room their signature dessert is a one of a kind delicious ❤️

    Food is a bit pricey for what you get. I expected way better quality. Medium Rare Bone-in Ribeye was a little chewy. Sautéed Mushrooms weren’t very tasty. Salad was excellent. Garlic biscuits broke apart into crumbles. Service was excellent.

    I ordered a Manhattan before my dinner. I was well made with one nice large square ice cube, but there was one problem, there was no cherry. A Manhattan should contain a Luxardo cherry. No excuse for a nice restaurant to forget that. I did not mention this to the server though. For dinner I ordered the 16 oz bone-in prime ribeye. It was perfectly cooked to medium rare with good seasoning. The best part of a ribeye, the cap (spinalis) had been removed. I asked the server about it and she said that is just the way the meet is trimmed from the supplier. I responded that a ribeye should contain a cap and the menu should specify if it is trimmed off. She brought me another steak and it also had the spinalis removed. The chef then came out and showed me two other raw ribeyes, which also had the spinalis removed. I told him that they should change suppliers. That supplier is likely selling the spinalis they cut off for a very high price as a spinalis only cut. Bottom line, don’t order the ribeye here unless you only like the tough part.

    we were so proud we got to enjoy our 5th wedding anniversay at Phillip M'S resturant. it is definitely worth the three and half drive from ALABAMA. WE HAVE NEVER BEEN DISAPPOINTED.

    It had been a couple of years since last dining here. We had a party of 5 and were seated on time. The atmosphere was inviting(as always). The quality of the food was excellent. The last time we were here the food was just average, but this time everyone's meal was outstanding, from appetizers to main course. Quality service and food make this a location to visit when in the area.

    We are there 2 nights in a row as it seemed the highest quality restaurant in both casinos and both meals were consistent. Cons: crab cake appetizer for $24 that was pressed minced crab and filler, NOT lump crabmeat. Salmon entree was over cooked and tasteless. Deserts had only 4 choices and seemed more concerned about style then taste. We opted not to have desert the second night. Wine choices by the glass limited and wine overall overpriced. Pros: although we opted not to have desert, the “bakery” right around the corner still inside the casino had wonderful gelato/ice cream! The calamari had great flavor and presentation. The Caesar salad tasted like the genuine authentic recipe even had anchovies on top (opted in). The filets were pretty good (not great) but the offered sauces were abundant choices and my béarnaise sauce was excellent. Wagyu burger excellent. Highlight was the saffron lobster/shrimp/crab chowder in a puff pastry. Cocktails were on point also. Otherwise although the service was attentive and pleasant, we had great difficulty understanding/hearing the waitresses due to the masks.

    Very nice restaurant! Love the ambience-so relaxing and enjoyable. Felt like a true escape. Felt pampered with awesome service, food and atmosphere. Prime rib special was delish and was very good value (compared to regular menu items). Look forward to visiting again soon I hope
