Love love love this place !! So many people recommended this place and I’m glad I finally went .

High class dining with great portions and an amazing atmosphere!

I always enjoy everything about Philippe’s. I’ve never encountered any issues at either of their locations.

The food was exceptional and our waiter Nick was the bomb he made sure we had all we needed. However, at the end of our dinner our waiter changed, and we thought Gratuity was already added to our bill (simple misunderstanding). We had also given a cash tip to the waiter who took over for like the last 10 minutes. Apparently he was not satisfied and returned the receipt folder to us and told us Gratuity was not included, apparently because he was not satisfied with the cash tip. That was a a bit rude, the way he came back to our table. Would I come back to dine at Philippe? Absolutely.... Did our night end well? No....

It was fine. Except they would not split the bill onto 6 cards and yet they did so at the bar.

The food was really good & the service was awesome. I would recommend Philippe Chow to all of my friends and business associates.

Atmosphere was nice. The hosts & servers were very nice. However, the food wasn’t as good as I expected it to be. More like overpriced Chinese food.

Food not as good as I remember.

Food was amazing. Very posh urban vibe, but we were upstairs so did not really impact us. Would recommend for NYC visitors looking for a cool experience.

I always make it my business to visit Phillipe a few times a year. I love their Crispy Beef and Kung Pao Chicken. The staff is also always very pleasant and accommodating. The only downside is that some of tables are pretty close together. Overall, great experience.

Five stars is understatement! Can’t wait to go back!!!

This place featured poor food and incredibly slow service. We arrived at noon with the restaurant almost empty and they still couldn't get us out in less than and hour and half.

Made us wait 45 minutes for a table when we had a reservation. Very unprofessional , they had 2 people at tables for 4.

Phillipe Chow never fails to give optimal ambiance and service. I had a wonderful experience trying out new dishes such as the lobster satay, as well as eating my usual favorite chicken with lettuce cups. My waiter was very attentive to me and my family. A great time was had by all.

We were upstairs - not the hot spot to dine but certainly quieter and at ou age we like that! The food is always GREAT

One of the best restaurants I’ve been to. Every dish that we ordered came out perfect. Service was amazing, everyone was so polite and helpful. Definitely will be coming again

This restaurant has been re-invented in the best sort of way. In the past they would always use the same brown sauce on top of everything, so always best not to have anything with sauce. The sesame shrimp with honey walnuts was a great appetizer and the barbecued spare ribs are just as yummy and meaty as Philippe's father's restaurant MR CHOW. Peking Duck for $85 is a bargain because the duck is gigantic and you can keep getting refills on the thin wrapper variety. Try a Lichee martini and most of what you will get is pure alcohol. Delicious from every direction. Highly recommended.

If you love high end Chinese and don't necessarily want to drop $100 per person, check out the amazing prix fixe lunch at Philippe. $26 for two courses ($29 with dessert) from some of their most popular menu options served with the same flair and courtesy. Dishes are serve family style so if you are with a good friend you can try twice as much. Our favorites are the chicken in lettuce and the orange crispy beef, but we haven't had anything we don't like.

Too noisy; too crowded; food double the price of what you can easily get elsewhere.

Peking duck is delicious. Carved at your table Definitely putting this dining experience in the top 10.

The food was absolutely amazing! Definitely recommend the food, particularly the curry prawns and the four pepper prawns. Also, the pork soup dumplings are to die for. Good selection and taste of cocktails.

Our service, however, was not good at all. Our waiter apparently forgot to put in our drink order, brought the wrong appetizer, and brought a wrong entree. We had to repeatedly ask for help from another waiter, which was frustrating.

The food is out of this world, I hope that the service was not normal and that we just got someone on an off day.

Amazing hostesses they were very understanding and accommodating. The food was very good and the servers were very helpful and attentive. My reservation was too late so I couldn’t get the duck. But I will back very soon.

Never gets old! I have to say I enjoy their food every time, lunch or dinner-it’s always amazing!

My waiter was great. He was patient. He made great suggestions and he knew the menu very well. This is always one of my go-to spots to catch up with friends or celebrate a life event.

Had the best Birthday lunch!!! Their food is on another level. Baked Alaska is a must!!!!

Anniversary

Anniversary - always exceptional, never any complaints thank you to the phillippes staff and chefs for always creating a great experience

First time there but not my last.

Went back for a third time to enjoy the Peking Duck. They really do a fantastic job with this dish.

Food was good as usual, except the shrimp, there was something off about it ,other than that we loved it and loved that we can bring our 5 year old w us and no one seemed to care (in a good way!)
