Food is one of the best Chinese outside of Chinatown. The back room is not exactly inviting but rather clinical. Staff was nice and attentive.
First experience at this establishment food was great drinks were wrong service was attentive . We will definitely be dining here again.
This place was amazing us hip it was good for not just the yard heart but also be young's 1st the food was amazing especially the pecking duck and the dumpling the chef should be proud of his restaurant and his service was amazing as well
It definitely is no longer what it used to be. Starting to feel like a pf changs
Great vibe, Great Dining
Don’t go to this restaurant. The food was a mushy mess and the service was terrible. Being NYC foodies we were shocked that a restaurant with this upscale address would be able to sustain the rent with such terrible food. I specially asked that the courses come out one at a time and instead they brought the entire meal out 5 minutes after we ordered. Clearly the food was sitting around since lunch. Our Rez was at 6; we left at 6:30! NEVER again!
Platillos excelentes, porciones suficientes, atención y servicio impecable. Muy recomendable
Did not like the music. Food and service were excellent.
Food was delicious, especially the chicken satay. Service was fast and friendly. Would definitely recommend
Philippe Chow is a restaurant that thinks it's a night club. Fried seaweed appetizer was very good but all other food was mediocre. Do not go to this restaurant if you are on a date since you will be challenged to talk to your date with the techno music blasting in the background. The all black bathrooms were (hopefully) clean. We don't mind paying more to get more, but the quality of their food should be a notch higher to validate the high prices.
The food was excellent, the service was great than expected.
I took one of my long time friends for a birthday luncheon -
Everything about the lunch was great . The restsurant was
Busy ( always a good sign ). The service was attentive but not intrusive . We were able to enjoy our meal , relax and catch up .They even gave us a surprise birthday dessert !
I love having lunch or dinner here. Always a great time and a delicious meal.
Wonderful food but too noisy music
Hard to converse
More of a bar scene
The service was impeccable and the food was excellent. I highly recommend this establishment.
There is no point in making reservations, they made us wait for more than an hour, then we got seated in the wine room at the celler next to kitchen area. Not something you would expect from up scale restaurant. The food was OK...
The dinning room was small, and the noise level was very high. The seating was tight on the second floor. but over all the meal was great.
We went here for a romantic evening while we were visiting NYC. It was a little loud, but not too horrible. The service was great and attentive, and the food was excellent. I would highly recommend this place.
Amazing food and experience
They really amazing
They made birthday!!!
Delicious food and good ambience! Can’t ask for more...
Food was not enjoyable. Food not freshly cooked.
The vegetable fried rice was not tasty at all...no more veggies than scallion inside, the service was poor too.
am a regular but that night was horrible got sick from food
The Peking Duck we ordered was soggy (even the bottom of the serving plate under it was full of water) although we specifically asked to make it extra crispy on the outside. That was a real disappointment as we were there for my husband’s birthday and I was always telling him how wonderful the Peking Duck is at Philippe. So if you want your duck crispy, you have to ask for extra extra crisply I guess...
The restaurant was accommodative to our request. It was time well-spent! Suitable for business as well as a date. A dynamic spot! 👍🏻
The food was excellent. We arrived late to our reservation due to traffic. We were seated and attended to right away. Service was great and the fried rice was some of the best we’ve had. I recommend this place. Give it a try.
BEST ASIAN FOOD IVE HAD IN YEARS‼️
Took my wife for her bday. Best move I’ve ever made‼️😍💚
This was my first time here the food was really good
As per usual Philippe’s was great, the chicken satay and the service, that’s what keeps me coming back! 💕💕
I definitely enjoy my 31st birthday dinner. The food was good, the music was good, and the customer service was excellent.
Awesome chiken satay and the peking duck its the best in the world
Our experience at Philippe Chow was nothing short of amazing. The cuisine is above par. I highly , highly suggest the Salt & Pepper calamari and the Peking Duck (for two). The Chicken Lettuce Wraps and Dumplings are a great start to your dinning experience.
Must try: Peking Duck, Crispy Beef and Tofu StirFry.
Expensive and not all it claims to be. I was very disappointed.
Everything was great as usual !
This restaurant has a club-type vegas feel which is interesting to match with Chinese food. When you walk in house/techno music is playing loud through the speakers. The waiters are oddly dressed in white suits with red ties. We ordered the chicken satay, vegetable lomein and shrimp. The chicken stay was gross. It had some sort of brown sauce that tasted like overly buttered pancake batter. The lomein was ok, but very salty. The shrimp was rubbery and had a fishy taste. Food was way over priced for the quality food you receive. The service and ambiance are nice, however I will not be back.
The Peking Duck was delicious! Overall it was a great meal.
We had a rally fabulous evening. We sat upstairs which is not as much as a ‘vibe’ but a little quieter. Food was exceptional, hot, tasty and delish. Service is always top class. Thanks Philippe! We will be back for sure.
