PHÉNIX eatery & bar retains Michelin Star for 2020. Located on Level 2 of The PuLi Hotel and Spa whilst overlooking the JingAn Park. PHÉNIX eatery & bar opened its doors to the public in late March 2016.

Rooted in the philosophy of "Life is about the ingredients", a visit to PHÉNIX is a charming invitation to reconnect with the essentials through an intuitive French cuisine inspired by the richness of seasonal natural ingredients.

This commitment to the finest, freshest, and best quality ingredients is not only at the heart of everything we do but also at the very foundation of the renowned Chef Pierrick Maire's cuisine philosophy. Started with the seared fois gras and artichoke soup with scallops-excellent. Nice wines by the glass to accompany. The mains of pork belly and mussels in white wine were just as good. Probably the largest portion of mussels ever served-didn’t think value and Michelin 1 Star went together!

Had hopes of a good meal and a cozy environment but the experience was way beyond all of our hopes. One of the best meals we have had in Shanghai since we started to visit in 2004! Service, food and atmosphere was top notch! The Phoenix will be a given at future visits to Shanghai. Thank you all for giving us a great memory.
