The food was pretty good. Dessert was amazing, we got the brownie with ice cream which is very rich and chocolatey. Drinks were great as well, I ordered the blonde donkey. I will definitely return to try other items on the menu that sounded great. We found the place quickly coming up the staircase from garage, but make sure you know the door looks like an elevator with no signs.
Excellent food and amazing spirits! Tricky to find, though. Be sure to get the secret before you arrive with clents you want to impress!
Second time there and never disappointed! They are great at what they do and I would definitely recommend anyone to go there!
It was a very nice experience, the entire concept is outstanding.
Going to Pharmacy was a different experience. The ambiance is 5 STARS!! Our server Adam was outstanding. Tried the bruschetta and it was good (a little overpriced). Drinks are a def go to, cause they are made from scratch and signature of the house. Be prepared to sit with total strangers at your table (not a good romantic spot!). But a friendly hidden bar. Really good!!! Will come back to try a drink
All of the food we ordered was horrible. We didn’t want to eat the meatballs because they were way undercooked but the manager said once it hits the table it’s ours. Horrible customer service on her end. Our server tried to help but I wouldn’t go here again. Drinks were good that’s about it.
A great place to dine for something a little different. Inventive drinks and cuisine. Food at par with The Ravenous Pig which I use as my “gold standard”. Though it is quite a distance from my home, and on busy restaurant row, I will certainly be back.
Not great. Really looked forward to it. Food was just ok. Drinks were nothing great. Service was slow and mediocre. Mentioned it was a birthday here at reservation and when checking in. Got nothing but a verbal happy bday from the hostess. $215.00 bill and they could have given a scoop ice cream with a candle. In my opinion tourist trap.
Small drinks and over priced. $31 pork was raw in the middle, asked if could put back on grill, ended up cooking the whole plate in oven so all the sides were way over cooked.
Loved our experience looking forward to the next one.
I have eaten here several times and I was very disappointed this time. The menu options were extremely limited. I would have liked to know that they were in the process of changing over their menu so they only had 6-7 entrees to choose from. I had the pork chop and it had no flavor at all. Another person had the Spare rib tacos and struggled to eat one and the other did not even eat half of her burger. The Cheese Fondue and the Fried Chicken apps were the only thing that didn't ruin our dinner.
I wanted to like Pharmacy. I thought it would be more like the Safe House. Unfortunately, I was seated in the back room which was fairly empty and had no activities to watch. All of the action was in the front room where the bar was located including music and most of the diners. The entry through the elevator door was unique. However, it was very difficult to locate. A host from another restaurant had to guide me to the location. I think it’s a great date night restaurant. The food was very good, the drinks were expensive and overall it was a unique dining experience, so I’d recommend giving it a try, but definitely sit in the front room.
Finding the entrance is half the fun. The creativity of the drinks are amazing and the food was delicious. We took a seat at the bar after dinner, just so we could watch the bartenders at work.
Have wanted to try this place for a couple of years. The Semi-Secret location in the Dellagio plaza in Dr.Phillips is not the easiest to find. No signs, just an unmarked elevator door that gets you into this gastro-speekeasy. Hand crafted cocktails are the lure here. All small brand liquors made into amazing libations. The food is great too. We went during the Bite-30 promotion. My wife's Fried green tomatoes were chunks instead of the normal slices and tasted great with a curry corn salsa. Her Ropa Vieja over mash was slightly spicy and extremely flavorful. My clams Arrabiata starter was delicious. Clams in the shell in a garlicky broth with lots of croutons to soak up the flavorful juices. My Bolognese was a bit of a disappointment. The pasta was cooked perfectly but the meat ragu had a strange taste to it. Both our desserts were great. The Berry Cobbler did need some vanilla ice cream on top. My Coffee Pot de Creme was a coffee / chocolate mouse that was creamy, rich and decadent. We are looking forward to going back to try more cocktails and items off the menu.
Great food and great ambiance. Our waitress Doris was amazing!
Outstanding service, interesting cocktails, intriguing menu suitable for your foodie friends and the best mac and cheese on the planet.
This was our second visit to the Pharmacy. Last summer, we visited and sat in the front room and the meal was quite good. Last Saturday, we were seated in the back dining room which was formerly The Table Restaurant. Three of the four of us dined from the “Bite 30” menu. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered. Portions were quite generous and the plate appearance was stunning. Cocktails were excellent. The cheap black paper napkins were a negative, however. The main problem we experienced dealt with the maintenance and cleanliness of the room. The chairs were wobbly and uncomfortable. One chair was being held together with duct tape. The ceiling tiles were stained and in one corner there was a massive cob web. The overall appearance of the room severely took away from the dining experience. A renovation is sorely needed.
The Pharmacy is the most underrated food in all of Orlando. I don't know why this place is not on the "best of" lists for food. Everything we had was amazing! If only it was closer to our house we would be here all the time!!
This was an experience, not just another dinner. From the handcrafted drinks to the local fare, all the flavors came together in an amazing way.
Absolutely fantastic, the concept is great the chef and part owner Lauren is phenomenal!
The food here is amazing!! It's a little hard to find but once you do you will keep going back!!
I had the pork chop and it was amazing! The corn grits where the best i've ever had and the collard greens melted in your mouth. For dessert I had the tart and it was delicious. For sure try it out!
Their collard greens are off the chart! I enjoyed the pork chop, collards with pork belly, and grits - delicious. We had the cheese fondue for an appetizer and couldn't get enough. LOVED the "speak easy" vibe.
The fried green tomatoes with corn/curry sauce appetizer was very unique and flavors were excellent. There were three of us and we each ordered something different. All entrees were beautifully presented and were prepared to perfection. We loved the atmosphere and our server was very friendly and helpful. Her descriptions of the bar/wine list and menu were insightful and knowledgeable.
Neat place. All the food we ordered was flavorful, well prepared and well presented . The wait staff was inattentive. Took more than 15 minutes for someone to take our drink order. When the drinks arrived, they came in waves and none were “crafted cocktails”, just beers and sodas. They were out of 2 of the menu items that we ordered, but the waitress was not aware of this. She came back after another 10 minutes to get our second choices . Would visit again, but if the service was not better, that would be it.
Tasty and clever drink selection
Food was delicious - went with rock shrimp, tuna tartar, and bruschetta- would order all three again
Food and drinks were really good, service was a bit slow. If we had not had to wait so long for food would have been 5 star
Although unique in ambience, the food and drinks were overpriced and I would not return.
This was our first visit to the acclaimed Pharmacy and we were sorely disappointed. My dining companions and I sampled several items on the menu. The evening started strong with the pilsner of fries and rock shrimp. Both were delicious but a bit overpriced. We all sampled a handcrafted drink and we're pleased with the unique flavor combinations. Our entrees were where dinner took a major turn for the worse. Two diners ordered the prime rib and mash entree. Both dinners arrived with the mashed potatoes ice cold (literally tasted like they just came out of the frig). Both plates were sent back the kitchen. Unfortunately when the plates were returned the potatoes were hot but the steak was now over-cooked, the burger was bland and the mango salsa served with the roast chicken overpowered all of the other flavors.
We decided to pass on dessert.
Our server tried to be attentive but was clearly in the weeds most of the night. It appeared as if they were short staffed.
It's a cute place with a fun vibe. I might go again if I'm in the area and want to stop for a drink.
The Pharmacy is my favorite restaurant in town, and this visit was perfect, as always!
Cool concept and I’ve been to speakeasys before butAmbiance was really strange. Food was excellent. Paper napkins and dirty menus did not make for great presentation though.
Great place! Good food! Excellent service.
What a great place. Specialty cocktails and great food. French fries are unreal. And the staff is very helpful and courteous
Great concept. Modern speakeasy with strong, crafted cocktails (probably too strong). High alcohol content overpowers other flavors. Robust bar.
Food was exceptional. Pricey but worth it. When we arrived at 6:30, we were only 2nd table seated. It filled up by 8. Other restaurants were jammed.
Really, really loud. Interior designer made every surface flat and/or metal. Some fabric would go a long way in deafening the noise. Also, sharing table concept can be off putting to those not from the city. Like Orlando locals.
Minor changes would make this place perfect. We’ll be back. Still recommend it.
