This is the third time I have dined at this establishment over the past three years. In a metro area defined by non-descript chains, this is a true gem. Surprising, exciting dishes and interesting libations make this a “must go to” place for the more discerning & adventurous. And the service is always fantastic!
Great food and service! Not your generic bar drinks but exactly what you would expect from a speakeasy! So fun!
When I made my reservation for Pharmacy I didn't know it was supposed to be a secret speakeasy. I went all the way around and tried several doors that I thought might be the entrance but they were all locked. So I called them and they explained that the elevator was really a secret entrance.
Inside the décor was intentionally simple and messy, like a speakeasy in a basement somewhere.
Their specialty seems to be mixed drinks, and not being a drinker, I can't review that.
The food was very expensive and was hit and miss. Some food (bread, hushpuppies, shrimp) were well below my expectations. Other food (pork chop) was excellent.
When I pay this much for food, I want all of it to be great, and I want a beautiful decor, not a pretend make-shift basement.
My husband and I had a fabulous date night with our friends at the Pharmacy. Our favorite of the night was the Rock Shrimp as an appetizer. We ordered additional bread to sop up the delicious buttery goodness once finished with the shrimp. My hubby ordered the pork chop and I stole some of the corn grits. I shared the Chorizo pizza with the sunny side egg on top. It was awesome. I can’t remember the name of my drink, but it was sooooo good and it had a violet liquor in it. We ended the evening with the donut holes. We’ll be back again!
FANTASTIC*best restaurant/bar in Orlando! 1. Bone marrow is a must have!!! 2. Grande meatball is the best I've ever had, without question a must eat!!! 3. Spaghetti Bolognese one of the best I've had! Pharmacist recommendations are spot on...understood my choice of alcohol and taste. I will definitely be returning every 8 weeks when I'm in MCO!
The steak was undercooked The Pork chop was ok.
Been there many times always been great until now
A little more than I wanted to spend, however the server, the food and drinks were excellent.
Awesome experience but a bit too pricey for the product in my opinion. No branded drinks, everything is made in house which is cool but not the normal, which is fine but they really didn't appeal to me and for the price of the drinks I would have thought branded drinks for sure. Drinks quite over the top on price, entrees good prices for amount and quality, appetizers delicious, especially the rock shrimp.
Amazing experience. The cocktails are truly unique and contain exquisite ingredients, truly unlike anywhere else. The immersive experience of opening the elevator door to go into the restaurant really impressed by date and the food was delicious. The service was kind and exceptional.
Great ambiance, amazing service (Violet is amazing!!!) and very strong and creative drinks! The food was delicious, I got the fondue, mac and cheese, brussel sprouts and beef pappardelle. The Pappardelle pasta was by far my fave, oh and of course the fondue was insanely amazing for a cheese lover like me. Such a great experience, I can't wait to come back!
Amazing! Everything was top notch! Incredible food, timely service, not pushy about anything. Drinks were extremely creative and diverse. Only thing I would find as an issue if I had to find one is the drink menu is hard to understand. However, trust in your server. They are all SO KNOWLEDGEABLE. Our server's recommendations were great and we were all very happy with them.
It was our first time visiting the establishment after a friend recommended it. I took my wife for her birthday dinner last minute, after her friends bailed. The restaurant was amazing! Food was GREAT! Drinks were awesome and the ambiance was perfect! We will definitely be going back!
Great food great service. The reservation was ready at the time we walked in. Our server, Olivia, was fantastic. Definitely try this place if you are in the area.
Our waiter Jared was PERFECT! Just a bit steep on prices vs what we ordered. Nothing wrong with meal. But the wine was a bit steep on price, my only complaint. I know my wines. The meal was 5 star! The wine was good, just keep in mind cost but , I would definitely go back!
It has been awhile since I have come to the Pharmacy and I remember it being more unique and fun. I took a new boyfriend who wanted a special romantic evening. The entrance was not as hidden as I remembered, there are named doors showing off the location :( We were put in the main room at a huge table with no light. There is very little decor in the main room which makes the voices bounce off the walls and ceiling. It is loud and not as romantic as the backrooms at all. I appreciated the use of vintage glassware and the music was really wonderful but I like the other rooms more.
The food: I always enjoyed seeing a new menu and not really knowing what was going to be offered that night. this menu seemed to be the same as I had in the past. There was nothing new and unique to it. The food was good and portions were solid for the price.
The drinks: Not a lot for the price. Portions are as they were in the 20s and the prices are very modern.
Chef Loren & Crew,
Thank you so much for the fabulous dining experience and delicious food. Our clients that visited us from the UK loved your place and we will definitely be back to visit the next time we are in Orlando.
Pharmacy truly has it all, from the moment you walk in through the elevator doors you instantly feel that your in a special place. The incredible service also confirms that level of special care which is equally reflected in each dish that comes out to the table. Chef Loren and her team are masters in their craft.
This is not your average run of the mill chain restaurant that liters Orlando, this is a place that feels local, made from scratch, and just refreshingly unique. If your in the Orlando area and are looking for a phenomenal restaurant, Pharmacy should be on your list, it truly is hidden gem!
Thank you again for everything Chef Loren!
Food , drinks & service were all great. Prices were reasonable.
Food was awesome & service was good. Drinks are a little pricey.
great food, presentation and portion size, friendly and empowered service staff
The service was pretty good. Server was pleasant; very animated. The menu didn't have any seafood items.
We were told the items, such as the tea and lemonade were made in-house. Sounded good, but, the lemonade was not good at all. I was hoping for Chik-fil-a level, but, it tasted like powdered with artificial sweetener (I wanted neither). The sweet tea tasted as though it had a little alcohol in it (it wasn't supposed to). We asked the server what was in the tea, and she said she would find out but, never told us.
The Pork Chop was terrific! Thick and tasty, it was. I ordered mine medium well, and it was slightly dry but, that was expected. Still, it was great. The cheese grits and the greens that came with the Pork Chop were oh so tasty. I could've eaten just those and would've been satisfied.
The Chicken salad was also great. It was large and filling.
The Fried Chicken was a disappointment. Would've been better going to KFC for that.
The prices were fine for the meal and servings sizes were very good.
I would recommend visiting the Pharmacy to a friend, but, would recommend; drink the water or a soda.
I would absolutely reccomend this establishment to all friends. Food was wonderful and ambiance was great! Only drawback was the drinks we ordered seemed off. Your version of the old fashioned was wonderful, but the other people in our party had drinks with floral bitters in them and the drink tasted like a garden, which isnt bad, but wasn't expecting the florals to overpower the drink. Otherwise, the entire night was great.
Very nice place to have a tasty dinner. The Brussels sprouts and ribs were great, but the mac n cheese was the best I have ever tasted. The drinks were very unique and we had no idea what was in them even after reading the descriptions. Luckily, our server was very knowledgeable about them all and recommended perfect drinks each time.
Overall, a little pricey (as expected), but excellent food and and over the top drinks. Would recommend if looking for a more lavish side of Orlando to explore.
Great first time. Server very friendly and knowledgeable
Great spot for food, cocktails and atmosphere! The elevator entry is a fun way to step into a different time/place! The food was better than expected - the waygu burger and margarita pizza were fantastic.the cocktails are a little pricey but overall enjoyed -and would go back.
AMBIANCE IS NICE AND RELAX. FOOD IS GREAT AND SERVICE IS ATTENTIVE, PROFETIONAL AND NICE.
The food, the service, the place! You must go if you have never been. This is one of the best restaurants in Orlando, if not the best. Amazing craft cocktails and a totally scratch kitchen (even the ketchup and mayo). My highest recommendation.
I took my company's most important supplier / partner to Pharmacy during the NAFEM 2019 Convention, and could not have been happier. It was simply the most perfect restaurant to entertain and make my guests feel extra special. Chef Loren Falsone and her team went well above and beyond to really take care of our party, and the culinary delights were nothing short of extraordinary. Our company is planning to use Pharmacy as our go-to place to entertain all clients and partners when in Orlando, Florida. Highly, highly recommended. Truly a memorable experience.
Atmosphere, service and ambiance was excellent .
Cocktails-“ok” batched bourbon cocktail with too much bitters. Last Say was excellent.
Food- French fry serving was enormous. Love the ketchup. Aioli was lacking flavor.
Pork chop was excellent and the best part of the meal although the grits were lumpy and not warm almost like they sat out too long.
Wedge salad was ok, could have used a little more crumbled blue cheese. The dressing was kind of flat and lacking flavor
Beef boullinaise : sauce needed to be better developed, not as much flavor. Beef was tough.
Probably a one time event to dine at this resturant. Glad we checked it out but will not be returning.
Tried this place for the first time. What a gem. The hand crafted cocktails and the superbly prepared foods are great. Nice happy hour prices.
It’s hard to find unique dining experiences in South West Orlando but the pharmacy absolutely was one. Great service, terrific food and unique craft cocktails. Very excited to go back again.
Offered pork chop as fav from waitress and they did not have it ... waitress was not attentive... food very Average and 1 of our drinks was a mess and they took care of the cost for that 1
This was our second visit. The food was much better the first time. Please do not order the sticky ribs--NOT GOOD. The meatball and the Spaghetti Bolognese was delicious as usual.
After reading the reviews on the “secret” entrance and cool/trendy atmosphere, it was a bit of a let down.
You push an elevator button, two large elevator like doors open up, and you are in the rather small bar/restaurant.
Waitress was good, described some of the cocktails, and tried the Nick of Time martini—we like all sorts of concoctions and martinis, and this one tasted like cough syrup.
Menu was very limited, and after searching whole thing did not see two things we both would like.
Ended up at Vines down the street for an exceptional experience, ambiance and meal.
Maybe just not our vibe, and might be ok for after biz drinks, but not the date night dining experience we were hunting for two.
Food was excellent!!! Service was fair at best. They must’ve had problems with ventilation from the pizza oven because it got very smoky inside and then they’d open windows-it would get cold and clearer—happened several times.
Service has declined over the years
A small hole in the wall. You would have to yell over everyone to talk to your date or guests. The food is said to be organic with pieces grown in the area. The lemonade was served hot and tasted like sugar cane tonic water. The cocktails are mostly tequila and gin mixtures. The menu is constantly changing, so don't settle on a favorite. The donuts and creme brulee we had were delicious.
We had a great time at Pharmacy. Doris are server was top notch. Excellent food and drinks. Best hamburger I have had in ages. Can't see how a negative review is even possible as it seemed everyone around us was having just as good a time as we did. Definitely going back. Not cheap but the quality stands on its own!
I'm going back for the caramel almond apple pie. I couldn't fit it in. Great night!
The service was poor. Waited for 20 min before waitress came to table. Several waitresses walked by and none stupid by. Long wait for appetizers and food. The actual food quality was good. This concept has a lot of wasted potential. Good general concept. Poor execution.
