P.F. Chang's - San Antonio
Love this place. Easy to park and easy to get to. We use OpenTable (which I highly recommend) when going on the busy nights.
We got seated within minutes while at least 20 people where waiting for a table and again because I used OpenTable and get this, I did the reservation about 30 minutes before I arrived on my cell phone. Maybe i got lucky but either way it was a smart move.
So the food is always great, the waitress that night was incredible. She was moving at the speed of light (it seemed) and still took care of us with a smile. The place was packed, the food was again awesome. Good product and perfect for anyone.
For starters they didn’t have our open table reservation despite the fact I am looking at the confirmation email. Rude hostess. what’s up with that? Waiter was great and worked hard but not much he could do with cold dumpling and bland food. What happened to this place?
Everything was great!
Always delish at the Quarry location..!
We booked through open table, reservation was not in and they gave us the worst table in the restaurant.
What’s the point of making a reservation in advance and be seated not in the restaurant but in the adjunct area?
Haven't been here for 5+ years after a disappointing meal then. Nothing's changed. Very pleasant ambiance. It was Super Bowl night and the restaurant was clearly not busy at all. Sesame chicken was COA (cold on arrival) & Sichuan beef was so overcooked it was actually burned. Sorry, but you only get one chance to make a bad second -- and lasting -- impression. That's too bad because it is such a attractive restaurant, but you cannot eat decor.
I put a special comment about needing a non-booth table where my rollator would replace a chair, but your system and theirs were separate (Unlike Magianno’s Little Italy where they just did not know what a rollator was an called me) so they did not look at it until I mentioned it to them.
The Wi-Fi was much better, their app had been discontinued, but their website was far superior to what they had before.
I wanted to make some comment to one of the two managers I thought were on duty (were wearing dark blue sports jackets) about all the positive changes, but I could never get their attention so I asked our waiter to pass them on.
The only incorrect thing was our waiter (Alex) thought the free entrée was 1,000 instead of 2,000 points, but that information was on the informational receipt that he provided with the initial bill slip.
Once we got home, there was a note about changing rewards systems. It was to any M-F business hours #, but it was worth the wait. I went from 915 points to 1915 (expired), got a reward (normally 1,000 points) and another 3,000 points for various reason, all probably, because of an illness, we had not gone there since 09-28-2018.
All in all, a wonderful experience!
Great service, food is okay
Made reservations but still waited about 30 minutes for a table. The hostess looked disinterested at best and made no attempt to be friendly. Waitress did a great job but overall disappointed in the food given how much it cost.
I made reservations for my family at 1:30 pm. Reservations were made for 630. We had 2 little ones with us and it was cold outside. There were large groups leaving but our table still wasn’t ready.
Our Server was fantastic and very attentive, the pace was good and the food is excellent
Made reservations on OpenTable when we got to the restaurant they have no reservations for us
The hostess asked me did I just make the reservation I said no made like six hours prior
We waited about 10 -15 minutes or so and they sat us at a table close to a busy Walkway
Our waiter was nice he seem to enjoy gum in his mouth because he was smacking it the whole time
Service was okay
The drink s were overpriced and not good
When we arrived at the restaurant it was really busy. The receptionist checked our reservation and informed us there was no record of it. I showed them the Open Table reservation number and the message response I had sent to confirm we were still coming to the restaurant to eat. We were placed in line with all the other folk turning up without reservations.
We think the receptionist took pity on us as we were taken to a table relatively quickly. This episode really ruined the evening before we got started.
After that the food and service were great.
Love PF Chang’s...have been a regular customer for 30 years.
Nice get together with our kids for our anniversary. Can’t believe that they were out of ingredients to make one of their signature drinks!? Food was good and hot. No other problems all was good
Always good tasting food, waiter (Jason) was attentive, friendly, professional. Greeted by a host that seemed agitated and unfriendly, haphazardly placed menus on table, then hurried away.
This PF Chang's is consistently good and has a great happy hour with fantastic service. It was a fun place for a week night and was quite crowded.
Beef fried rice with a side of Mongolian sauce is the best!!!
Eddie was our waiter and he was very attentive and helpful.
Excellent as always. Great service and delicious food!! Never a disappointment!! Love the mai tais!!
Excellent service, delicious food!
While the ambiance was great and the service was excellent. The food was just good. We decided to to the 4 course meal for two for $49.95. Thought it was a little high for Chinese food but I have always wanted to try it. Had a $10 drink pear mojito (just OK). We started egg drop and wonton soup (same taste from any chinese restaurant). The fried wontons were brought out to put in the soup which apparently not all PF Changs supplies. Then came Crab Rangoons (good but no different flavor than going to HuHot Mangolian food which I LOVE). On to the entre...Kung Pao chicken and Orange Chicken (again, no different taste than the chinese on the corner). The dessert was awesome...a deep fried banana with pineapple ice cream. Overall, the dessert was not enough to make me want to go back. The $70+ bill came with no offer for any discounts (military or veterans day which I never expect, just ask). Bottom line: I can go to any of the Chinese food places around the area at least 5 times for the price I paid for just OK food.
It is a okay restaurant, prices are fine food okay. Location excelent.
Food is what it is. Avoid anything fried and go for simple standards like beef with broccoli.
Billy is the absolute best waiter ever. He keeps us coming back.
The food and the service was great, exactly what you’d expect from PF Chang’s. Gerald was our server at the quarry location and he was so attentive, it made up for the bad service we had experienced at the week before at the La Cantera location!
I prefer the the Basse road location and as always the food, service and experience was amazing and made a great birthday night out
Great service with delicious food and kid friendly.
It was my birthday and the energy was good but for some reason was too noisy with a lot of kids crying or being mischievous.
Nice environment. Waiter was attentive. Food was fresh
