P.F. Chang's - Pleasanton
I have always loved P.F. Chang’s. Visited the Pleasanton location over the weekend for my sons 14th birthday. The place was dirty everywhere. We almost left, however my with special needs picked this place for his birthday dinner and I didn’t want to disappoint him. So the food was good and the waitress was nice. We took an ice cream cake and we have it to the waitress to put in the freezer. So later after dinner we asked for the cake to sing Happy birthday. The waitress put it in the refrigerator and the cake was half way melted. Omg!! Could it get any worst. We made the best of it And left as fast as possible. I went to the restroom and again the restroom were filthy. Got home and couldn’t believe our evening. Then my son had gum all over his legs and shorts. I took pictures of this at home. I will be filing a formal complaint with corporate headquarters. Very disappointed and I will never eat there again.
Happy hour options are not great. The floors are sticky. The food was decent, nothing memorable (in fact, I did forget my leftovers in the hotel fridge). The waitstaff was very friendly!
Food was not tasty. Noodles had no flavor, we really wanted pork buns but they turned out to be dumplings, calamari wasn’t great.
We've ordered Live noodles with prawns, the Mongolian beef, and Banana rolls for desert. Everything was right - servings were appealing, well-balanced tastes with zest and freshness. And the desert, the Banana rolls, were the most pleasant surprise of the evening.
We have been here many times.
They have recently updated their menu - cocktails, apps, entrees
Food is tasty, service is reasonable
Sometimes the reception area gets crowded, and the staff is not the most pleasant.
Wait staff has been very good.
Bar is well designed, makes you want to sit down and have a drink
The crab wontons were overcooked and not that flavorful. Waitress was attentive and helpful. The rest of the food was fine, but not very exciting.
The portions are completely smaller compared to 2017. I’ve visited on a weekly basis for work but, now have cut back to three or four times a year. It’s all about profit and shareholder value and NOT customer service or value to the customer.
I am completely disappointed with P.F. Chang’s.
Nice lunch, but not up to PF Chang’s normal standard.
We were going to eat in the bar area but cleaning up of existing tables was taking too long . It seemed in the bar area and in restaurant section that they were under staffed
Disappointing early dinner:( from the hostess to the food: constant disappointment. The only good thing was the waitress: nice, professional, somewhat prompt. The only edible dishes were the soup and the ribs , the new “ Mongolian potstickers “ were disgusting. The main dishes inedible, like frozen food warmed up in the microwave: you try it once, never again... same with this restaurant: never again... so bad because I used to like it . One more thing: the sauces , spices that they used to have on the table are gone too.
Our waiter, Mike was super attentive and personable. Food was very good and served hot. Our drink glasss were always keep full.
We arrived and was told they did not have my reservation even though I had confirmation...the hostess was super rude ... finally got seated 10 m I'll nites later and 15 minutes after that a server finally arrived .... food came out in segments ... we all had to wait for over 10 mins before the other 3 people in the party to recieve their food. Food was over all good alittle too much dressing on the caesar salad ... might try another visit but not soon.
35th wedding anniversary with the missus. Had Orange Peel Beef, which is always good, and Hokkien street noodles, which needed a little more curry sauce to make them work with the meal.
The restaurant wasn’t crowded but we walked past many unbiased tables to be seated. The food wasOK but not up to expectations. The spring rolls were served with no sauce. After looking for our server for awhile we gave up and ate them that way rather than cold. When we mentioned this to our server she said “sorry that’s my fault” and then told us the dumplings would be slow as the steamer wasn’t working right. When the dumplings came they were barely warm and the skin was not as soft as a steamed dumpling usually is. The rest of the meal was satisfactory.
The food has changed since we came almost a year ago. It’s really clean and tastes great. Service was great. It was also my wife’s and I first meal out since having our 2nd daughter so we were happy to have a great experience.
Server was very efficient & friendly. Food is fusion & has a nice, family-style sharing concept. Nice ambiance. Very crowded.
When I asked for the Valentine for 2 menu, the waiter had no idea what that was. I told him that was why I booked the reservation. I got an email about Valentine's meal for 2 people. Food quality was poor. I was really disappointed. The hot and sour soup had too much vinegar. The lettuce cup, which was usually my favorite dish, didn't taste very good. The broccoli used in our sesame chicken and pepper steak dishes was not fresh nor was it appealing to the eye. The steak seemed overcooked. The sesame chicken was so so. Thought we each would get a separate mini dessert, but apparently it was one mini dessert for us to share. The strawberry coconut cream dessert was better than I thought it would be but they really should have given each person their ow dessert as it was mini portion to begin with.

Had a reservation and was seated promptly. Nice big servings designed for family sharing. Wait staff was patient and explained items on the menu that we had questions on. Took a little longer than I expected for food to be served but nothing too extreme. Food was great! Oh, also had a coupon from an email about a free entree today, so that worked well too!
Service is always terrible but our toddler twins love it. Food is usually consistent but their staff need more training.

Always a nice lunch at PF Chang’s. Good fusion options, service, and very good prices for what you get.
Great food, nice ambiance and good service. Will definitely go back.
I was disappointed in the crispy chicken and shrimp. It no longer had the same flavor or texture as before. They tasted like flour instead of having the crispy flavor. No not order these two items if you were used to the taste and flavor ordered before. The fried rice wasn't very good either.
Service was great and the restaurant location ideal.
Delicious food. Took too long to be seared. Main courses brought out while we were eating appetizers. Too quickly.
As always the food was excellent but the young people at the reception NEEDS courtesy, manners and customer service education.... it sad , you show them your reservation and they ignored it. Need improvement ASAP bc your waitress and kitchen people are💯👏 you can loose a lot customer
Restaurant was very dirty. Food was very greasy. Overall PF Chang’s is not as good as it used to be. I would not come back here
The wait staff were friendly. It was not busy but took forever to take our order. Food was only soso. Overall unimpressive experience and would not recommend.

Food was not up to the standards, really disappointed
Too much spice and I like hot. Service was slow. 40 minutes from order to food.
great food, not busy on a Monday night but server forgot to deliver specific items requested after our food had been served (i.e. utensils, drink refill, etc)
Food was slow to come and not hot. It wasn't a busy time. Server was very nice.
Ordered Mongolian Beef and found that PF Chang’s has continues not to disappoint- always enjoy. Garlic spinach side tasty too. On the picky side, water spotted utensils is a negative-should ensure spotless. Server was busy and forgot drink until reminded, but otherwise pleasant.
The service was non-attentive and practically not concerned.
Great service and food
Thanks! We’ll share this with our team! Hope to see you soon!
I love eating at P.F Chang! But this day my order was not rite and I had to wait over 15 mins to receive my order as I dined in. Ended up having to take my order to go. :-(
Outstanding service and food. My friends and I meet at PF Chang's at least once a month and are always pleased with food and friendly service. Prices are reasonable and there are a wide variety of menu choices from mild to spicy. Especially love the crab wontons , mongolian beef and vegetable lomein moodles. We also enjoy our servers and always have lively conversations with them. They are very attentive. Jordan and Amanda are particularly fantastic with attending to our desires.
Honestly absolutely LOVE pfChang's !!!!! The points given for specials like a free entree with purchase of another entree are definitely added bonus !
Thanks! We’ll share this with our team! Hope to see you soon!
For some reason, with a reservation we were asked to wait for our table and there were many open tables and service folks available. Wait staf is not great and had us wait. Average Asian food at a moderate price
I had the lobster roll and the poke bowl. Both were good. Service was fantastic. My husband had the honey chicken. He's had this many times, and seems to think that P.F. Chang's has changed their recipe. It was not as good as it has been in the past.
The entire restaurant needs a thorough deep cleaning—tables are sticky, computer screens look filthy, bathrooms should be scrubbed. Needs renovation. Not all that crowded, but service was really slow. The hostess handed us our menus and pointed to our table. No settings and we had to ask twice. They came out in a pile and we had to pass them out. The food was just okay—getting dated, but still pretty pricey. Not an overall good experience. Won’t go back.
Service was very slow and inattentive. Food was mediocre. Had to send over cooked meat for lettuce wraps back even after server forgot them. Egg drop soup was not tasty at all.
