P.F. Chang's - Gainesville
With roots in Chinese cooking, the culinary landscape at P.F. Chang’s now stretches across Asia with diverse, culturally inspired recipes including hand-rolled sushi, Vietnamese-style soups and bowls, traditional Chinese dim sum, wok-fired chicken and beef entrées, and family style noodles and rice. All made from scratch every day.
Very good food and service
Must eat in gator town
Our server, John, provided excellent attentive service. We asked for water with limes and he brought a dish with extra limes. First time ordering the eggplant and in my opinion there was too much sauce in the dish.
Amazing place. One of favorites.
Awesome food & service but loud environment& cramped seating
PF Chang’s has definitely changed. Our third attempt to enjoy what it used to be, but they’ve either changed their purveyors or are using less expensive ingredients in order to keep their price point during these unusual times. We won’t return
We were a few minutes late for our reservation due to Gainesville traffic. The server/greeter was a condescending moron who told us we would now have to wait in an empty restaurant for at least 45 mins for a table. We went next door to Cheesecake Factory which was buzzing and where the service was friendly and efficient and we were made to feel welcome. Crappy staff = crappy restaurant. Never again PF Chang’s
Waitress was horrible. I saw her only twice: when she took the orders & when she came back to drop off the check. Everybody else brought the foods that were ridiculously in poor quality. Hot & sour soup was so dehydrated to the point of bitter. My wife had egg drop soup and wanted some black pepper but nobody came by to check on us and didnt get to ask anyone for pepper. Had to wait 25 min for the soup and another 30 min for our entree -Korean Bulgogi & Fish dish. Food was so mediocre at its best. Restaurant was barely third full. This location in Gainesville did terrible justice to the great reputation the P.F. Chang maintained in any other locations
Liked the open space, didn't feel crowded in. Looked fairly new, clean tables, promptly seated and drink order taken. Food was hot and tasty.
Being huge PF Chang's fans, this visit did not meet out expectations. We had a 1pm lunch reservation and were seated fairly promptly, drink orders taken, etc. But it took over 30+ minutes for our food to arrive. The restaurant was seated at about 50% capacity and the staffing looked appropriate for the number of tables. We have to guess that the kitchen was short staffed. My family all agreed that we were not eager to return. Disappointing visit.
Our choice during the Pandemic is to find a bar space where the stools are spread out. The bartenders are always friendly even though most nights they are slammed. The food is consistently appealing.
The spring rolls were extremely greasy and the honey chicken was mostly dough with very little chicken…. But the server Ashley was awesome.
Food and service were good.
Excellent all the way.
Love it best food ever
Our server, Hayden, was exceptional! Our appetizers were good although the portions seem to have shrunk. All of our meals were good & the Wall of Chocolate dessert was perfect.
They had no idea that we had reserved on Open Table at least 3 hours in advance of our visit. We waited an hour to be seated. The service was incredible thereafter, but the delay to seat us based on limited seating/staffing, and a large party was disappointing. They recommended reserving on their site, but I use Open Table most often so I can keep our vacation dining schedules in a consistent app./calendar.
Had a wonderful experience especially because of our very knowledgeable server Daniel. Ordered the outstanding Mongolian Beef based on his suggestion alone and it was fantastic!!!
The decor was really outstanding. I liked the open kitchen setting. All of the staff was helpful and friendly and the food was top notch.
Everything was good as it always is. We enjoy eating here and will eat here in the future.
Food was excellent! A little overpriced but not too bad. Service was great too. My husband and I went for date night. We had Mongolian beef, orange chicken, and vegetable lo mein. All meals were delicious and fresh. We ordered the ginger beer which apparently is freshly made. My husband enjoyed that. For dessert we had the 6 layer chocolate cake with an extra side of ice cream. Very yummy! That definitely large enough for 3-4 people. Overall really good.
It was a great experience for lunch, today. Everyone was very friendly and attentive.
It was great! Service was okay, but food was awesome except for the chicken pad tai, it had an odd flavor and 4 small pieces of chicken, we did not eat it.
Great service and food quality.
Fine, nothing too exciting, food was good
Excellent food and Service. Valentines Day dinner was perfect and the great wall of chocolate cake was to die for. Always ask for two scoops of vanilla to go with it!!
Servers and food were great. Manager needs to improve customer service skills
Came with a vegetarian and she tried the Honey Shrimp and fell in love!!
Very new! Great place and location in the mall
The overall experience was good the only thing I did not feel comfortable with was the spacing they had all the tables with customers close together the distance between tables was less than 6 feet.
We went out for a small family gathering and found things to be surprisingly festive. The staff was excellent, the food was plentiful and tasty, and it was a really fun night out in a city that is known for its extreme left liberalism.
The service and food was great. Ambience more modern industrial and less Asian like other locations. Concrete walls made it somewhat louder, but still a lively place for a college town.
All's great except it is very loud and not my music of choice. Won't stop me from going but would be nice if they would lower the volume since there are no soft surfaces to absorb the noice.
You can never go wrong at PF Chang’s. The lettuce wraps, lo main, dynamite shrimp and crispy honey chicken are a must for our family. Nice wine list to pick from and the Chocolate Bomb provides a nice ending to a delicious lunch.
Everything is clean, plenty of hand sanitizers around and well separated tables also give us confidence during these difficult times with COVID-19.
We had a pretty bad service issue. The waiter forgot about us for a good 20-25 minutes. We had only ordered drinks and appetizers at that point. They didn’t come out together. Our dinner order got placed after the appetizer/disappearance situation. It took a long time for a pretty straightforward dinner for 3 people. It wasn’t a great experience at a place that we normally really enjoy.
You can always be assured of good service , quality food at competitive pricing.... no matter the location!!!!!
Food was good. Service was ok.
Jason was a great server. We received our drinks promptly. The chicken lettuce wraps are still our favorites!
A great place to eat, whether it's just a meal or a special occasion. I gladly drive 30 miles to eat there every chance I get.
The reservation process was easy and efficient. We did not have to wait. The server was great and the food was delicious.
