I made a reservation and I waited maybe 2 minutes before they took me to our table. My biggest pet peeve is when hostesses sit me right next to the kitchen and register. So I looked at the other tables that just needed cleaning and told her I didn’t mind waiting for one of them. She had someone clean one and we were seated within 5 minutes. She was pleasant. Our server was good, attentive. The lettuce wraps were great but they don’t give enough lettuce for the food and I thought they used to have more than one sauce to try them with. Their sweet and sour chicken is amazing and we tried the salmon, the glaze on that was also great. The beef and broccoli was okay, I think it was a little high on the sodium. The shrimp lo mein was tasty but I prefer my noodles just a little bit thicker although these were thick enough to be real lo mein and not ramen like. We had the multiple layered chocolate cake and it was delicious. It was moist and the frosting was sweet. It is a rich cake and meant to be shared. You must have a sweet tooth for this one. I wish PF Chang’s was located in my town of Amarillo. I also suggest they please add sweet and sour pork and sweet and sour shrimp to their menu. I thought they had this at one time but I may be thinking of another restaurant. I would definitely order it if they did though. I think their food is a bit pricey as well. I was thinking of ordering soup but it was overpriced. Their sushi rolls were overpriced too so we didn’t order any. A Cali roll shouldn’t be $10. Overall experience was very good though.

Using Open Table was an added advantage because people were waiting for a table when we got there. Our reservation through Open Table got us seated right away. The walnut shrimp is delicious, as was everything else we ordered!!

David was a very friendly and efficient waiter—one of the best we’ve ever had at this restaurant. Thanks for making our date night a lot of fun and enjoyable.
