P.F. Chang's - Dulles
Valentine's Day!!! Greta wait staff, food was excellent and ambiance relaxing and set their get tone for a romantic evening.
Food and service was great but the restaurant was extremely cold! We asked the waiter if the heat could be turned on once we had our meal and he told someone in the back and they fixed the issue but not sure how no one realized how cold it was! Other than that, always great.
No consistency, one meal is good, the next one is horrible. Tonight our dishes were dry, no sauce, my beef was shoe leather, and the serving was tiny. Our server was new, screwed up our orders, but I can forgive that, everyone has to learn sometime, but the failure in the kitchen is not so easy to forgive.
Every time my friend and I come to this restaurant, they are always out of some type of food that affects what we want to order. Every. Time. This time around they said they were out of a curry sauce and I heard the waiter talk to the table behind us saying that they were out of oranges so he couldn't order the orange chicken. If you are out of oranges, go to the freakin grocery store down the street and buy more!! That is an easy thing to buy. Another issue was when I came to get take out one day and I wanted to order the gluten free chicken fried rice on the kids menu. The woman taking my order told me they didn't have that option and I couldn't order it. I said I order it all the time and she insisted that they didn't have it. Finally she went and asked another employee if they had it and she said yes. Obviously you all have it if it's on the menu!!
Very slow service, the food was subpar and wasn't even served near cold
Didn't think restaurant was as good this time as on previous visits. Food tasted fine, but service seemed slow. Seemed to be understaffed - table clearing/bussing was a big problem: okay to put leftover food in plastic take-home containers, but waiters should not be scraping off dirty plates at tables in front of customers? Maybe it was because it was Christmas eve??
Service was very poor. Had to wait 15 minutes for someone to come to our table and we probably would still be sitting there if I hadn’t gone to see where our waitress was . Food was average, very expensive for the small portion sizes. Probably will not eat there again.
Holiday event - food was just okay. Seemed less flavorful than last time and some of the batter on the honey chicken dishes were still mushy / undercooked *chicken was cooked tho
Good beef and broccoli, wonton souo
Very Poor Customer Service. The booth was Not tidy.
The Ambience was Not Great.
Great experience, outstanding customer service
We had a larger group than usual and were accommodated. Service was very good in spite of the heavy volume of people on this night. Always a great "go to" place to eat.
I love food at PF Changs! However the service wasn’t that great. The server wasn’t very enthusiastic and was slow. The portions were a little smaller than usual, they brought out a kiddie portion of Fried rice when we clearly ordered an adult portion. The server told us the kitchen was a “Disaster” that night. Overall the food was still decent but the service was subpar. I would go back for the food, but there are plenty other choices out there.
Making a reservation on OpenTable was super easy and convenient. Everything else about our experience was just fair. The Hostess wasn't very friendly and acted as if we were inconveniencing her by being there. The waitress was extremely slow and we all commented we had never heard so many dishes break during the time we were there. The food was just mediocre. Also the music was too loud for us to have a reasonable conversation. Too many other options in our area for Asian food to go back any time soon.
Longer than usual waiting, but the food was good. Our service was a little slow, but our server was friendly.
Love the food. Especially the lettuce wraps. Definitely worth the hour drive.
Had a reservation for Friday night. When we got to the restaurant we were told that their reservation system was down and so we had no reservation. So we grabbed two seats at the bar. Bartender was great, food was fine, but if the reservation system was down, how did we make the Open Table reservation? And we got dining points but we never checked in to our reservation. Sounds to me like the staff just didn't want to bother with reservations, they'd rather make everybody wait. I've had problems with the staff at this location before, their attitude is somewhere between "ignore the customer" and "f=== you". There are too many choices in the area that have competent staff and management. I doubt that I'll be back and I definitely won't recommend it.
Chang’s has no record of the open table reservation so had to wait 30 minutes past reservation time. Then they got the food order wrong. Not a great dining experience.
We've been to Benihana MANY times! It is the go to celebration restaurant for my 30 year old son and 21 year old daughter's birthdays. Last night was for my daughter's 21st. The whole Benihana show gets a little stale after going for 9 million years and being an adult BUT last night was different. We had our first ever female chef, Sandra, and she was amazing! She omitted a bunch of the corny stuff (e.g. she didn't wear a hat so we didn't get shrimp tossed in her hat) which we all appreciated. She substituted stale tricks for amazing manual dexterity and truly impressive hand eye coordination. For the first time in years, we all really WATCHED her cook and totally enjoyed the performance! Whatever she's being paid, Sandra deserves a raise!
