   The food was as expected for a Chinese restaurant! Better than most of the local Chinese places and cooked fresh! I would recommend it!

   We were a pre theater reservation and the host staff was aware and accommodating. I arrived early and had a drink at the bar. Bar service was prompt and courteous (the bartender was patient enough to allow me to have small tastes of sake before I made my choice). Dinner service was friendly and efficient. It seems that it’s a team effort for food running and busing, and it worked! (There were definitely some hospitality professionals in the staff that night! I’m a 30 year food/bev service veteran and I’d “poach” some of them if I weren’t professional!) Food overall was good. Lettuce wraps, a few sushi rolls, Mongolian beef, and a special of Peking duck spring rolls that definitely should be put on the regular menu! The only downside to the food was (surprisingly) the pan fried pork dumplings with chili oil. No flavor at all to the dumplings or the chili sauce. I’d return again, but probably avoid that one item.

   PFC has gone downhill. I don’t believe this location will last too much longer. Prices went up but the quality is Meh…. Also very stingy with to go packaging. Asked for a box for left overs… but no bag…. So Have to ask for a bag. Then we had a large dessert so need to take that home. Ask for a box. She brought a Chinese carton for a large cake which will not fit. Then had to ask for a larger to go box she says we’re not suppose to give that out…. What????? Urgh…

   This place was great a few years ago. Wow has it gone down hill. Table not ready for reserved time. No hard copy menus anymore? C’mon. This isn’t Applebees. Food all came out at once, from soup to apps to mains. No room on the little table! Server said the window was full had to bring it all out.

   So, a friend persuaded me to go to PFChang for lunch, definitely not something I'd do on my own. I don't like chains or "Chinese"/"Asian" food adapted for American taste buds. Apparently this PFChang is mainly for pre-theater meals, being in the theater district, with literally only one other person lunching when we were there midweek. Despite the light workload, the service was notably rude. Both the receptionist and our first server seemed annoyed by our disturbing their cellphone surfing. After a longish wait, we had to ask the server for a menu, getting a big sigh of annoyance along with it. We ordered two appetizers and two entrees (clearly specified on the menu, and by us). After a while, a different server arrived with all four dishes. I asked her to take the entrees back while we had the appetizers. I was thinking perhaps they'd keep them warm in the kitchen, but no... they must have been sitting on a counter as they came back barely warm. No explanation or apology. Nonetheless the food was surprisingly good, no tons of gluey sauce, as with most Americanized Chinese food... everything quite tasty and attractively presented. As we were finishing, both servers appeared and became quite attentive, as if they suddenly remembered the possibility of a tip. We obliged and left. Not planning to go back unless possibly desperate for pre-theater sustenance on some distant winter night. I do think it was significantly better than Applebee's, Olive Garden and other chains of that general ilk.

   Let’s be clear, this is not a review of the restaurant but the treatment of the staff and the situation they apparently regularly find themselves in. Because OpenTable released too many reservations, these poor people were met with more reservations than they had tables on one of the busiest theater district nights of the week. We were never seated for our 6pm reservation because we waited for an hour and had to leave, lest we be late for the show we were going to see. We were not the only ones in this predicament; the lobby was filled with people in our situation as well, some with hungry children as well. Corporate management and OpenTable need to understand that this is not an acceptable way to run a business in a neighborhood so close to the most popular theatres in Boston with everyone on a time crunch. We feel so bad for the staff who were just doing their jobs and getting the brunt of the anger that was 100% misdirected; they truly were making the best of a terrible setup that needs to be addressed.

    Dined solo at the bar. Enjoyed excellent service from Tim, the bartender. My Sweet and Sour chicken was just delicious. It was so fresh and tasty. One of the best meals I have had and I’m a frequent guest. Also, enjoyed the Chang’s Mai Tai. The new bar stool are very comfortable. I could have hung out there for longer if O didn’t have other plans. Thanks for a lovely experience.

    We stopped in to grab dinner before going to a show at The Colonial. Had reservations and got there about eight minutes early. At first we were told, twice, at the host stand that we didn’t have a reservation. I went to pull open the confirmation from Open Table when a different host started peeking over the screen and pointed out the reservation was in the system. Then we were told to just wait about two minutes for our table. 10 minutes later I walked to the host stand to inquire about our table and was asked if we had checked in. Mind you, there were about 20 open seats in the restaurant so it’s confusing why weren’t sat immediately in the first place. I explained we had checked in about 10 minutes ago (she literally watched us check in) and had a reservation. We were told we were next in line. We were sat shortly thereafter by the other host who did point out we had a reservation. Hard to understand when there are three people on the host stand why this was all such an issue. However, our server was awesome. We explained we were headed to a show and needed to place our order asap. She was cheerful, got our order in immediately, and we were able to eat dinner and get to the show on time. The server and food was all good but the initial experience at the host stand really turned us off. Not sure if we will head back here any time soon when there are a lot of other decent options in the Theatre District for a quick preshow meal.

    We were disappointed with our experience at the PF Chang by the theater district. The menu sounds amazing, but the execution was just "meh". We remembered the quality was way better, but now it seems like what you expected from Panda Express. The cocktails were way too sweet, even for the old fashioned. However, the service was good. Not sure if we would pay that price for that type of food quality.

    Had a 7pm reservation I get it was busy but I sat down to wait as I was told to do so I waited till 7:30pm and still said it’ll be 20-30 mins from then. I absolutely love this place so much but your service on Friday night was horrible

    PF Chang's is always enjoyable. The host station staff was not as welcoming as I'd like in a restaurant, and even asked if I made my reservation with OpenTable. When I said "yes", he responded, "Oh, THAT'S why I can't find it" as if OpenTable was an inconvenience. The entire staff seemed a bit frantic that night, however the food and drink were delicious, as usual. I will definitely give them a try again, as I have always had great service.

    Had a reservation that we arrived early for. The hostess first told me she couldn’t find my reservation. We waited for 15 minutes to be seated. Restaurant was not crowded but staff seemed disorganized. We’re seated at a very small table and requested to move to larger booth which was right there. We were denied this request until my friend went to the manager who accommodated us. After that things improved. Our server Gracie was great. Our food was delicious. Dessert was also so good. The restaurant has new furniture and looks so trendy but if they treat Open Table customers like lower class guests I may no longer come here. Dedham PF Chang’s did the same and now they have shut down. Hope management can do better in general.

    I love PF Chang's. The first time I ever ate in one was a revelation. Inventive dishes. Great flavor. Twenty-plus years later that buzz has worn off, but I still continue to be pleased with the food, drinks and service. This night was no different. We let our server know that we were heading to a show, and she helped us select apps and entrees for quickest turnaround, and was very attentive to staying on top of drinks and water. As for the food, I continue to recommend the lettuce wraps -- fresh and crisp, and the pork dumplings. Our entrees were also very good, but relatively generic Asian chicken (part of the pre-show time crunch compromise). Still, the quality was very high and the flavors were very good -- even the leftovers the next day.

    The food was great but the ambience was poor. It was so cold I had goosebumps (we told the waitress but she couldn’t change it) and the lighting was far too bright so it wasn’t relaxing.

    Restaurant was dirty. Staff were eating at the bar and very loud in the kitchen just goofing off. Bathrooms were dirty and almost out of toilet paper (they had just opened). Our server was good but took him a while to make the first visit. Sweet and sour chicken had very little to no flavor. Only gave the three stars instead of two because of server.

    Major problem at entry with hostess insisting upon seating us at cold table near door while the restaurant was half empty. It took the manager to intervene and get us seated properly. After that, service and food were fine. Restaurant often has had problems finding our Open Table reservations which somehow must be handled differently from its other reservations. Open Table should look into this situation!

    Enjoyed a pre-theatre lunch with my friend. Our server Abbey was so friendly and efficient. The food was very tasty and service was excellent. I really liked the new décor at this location. The colors are vibrant and make the place look lovely.

    The service was surprisingly poor having eaten at this restaurant in the past. We ordered an appetizer, 1 main course, and a dessert. 1. One napkin holding the silverware had a pair of chopsticks with no paper wrapper, the other was in a paper wrapper. The appetizer was a little slow coming out. The next problem was that the main course came out as were eating the appetizer. We sent it back and talked to the manager expressing our concern when the main course was brought out again it might of cooled off. He did come over after some time and was not very sympatric. However he did say he would resubmit the main course so it came out hot. Waitress never came over during the meal to check on us to see if we needed anything. I was disappointed in the service this time. But would go back since previous times the service as very good.

    I haven’t been to PF Chang’s in a couple of years now, but the quality of food has definitely gone down. The service was ok, waitress brought us an appetizer and we didn’t have any plates or utensils to eat it with.. the food was warm and didn’t taste fresh at all. I think they try to wow you with new presentation but the food is bad. The service was slow and we had to ask for an appetizer we didn’t receive a couple of times and the restaurant was not busy at all. I don’t think I’ll be headed back down there for a long time. We were really looking forward to a delicious meal there but instead we ended up disappointed.

    The service was inexperienced, so the drink was wrong, the appetizer was wrong, but the server was pleasant. The food was good. No one would mistake this for true Chinese cooking, but it was solid fare for a casual night out.

    Had early dinner at PF Chang after the Donna Summer Musical matinee! Our waiter- Steve- was great and an afficiado of information on Ms. Summer. The food was fantastic- starting with Mai tais ( not too sweet) and chicken lettuce wraps. Brussels sprouts and house pork fried rice. Then Mongolian beef and honey shrimp.( although I did miss the Forner melon- walnut- honey shrimp). Ended with sharing the wall of chocolate cake and raspberry chocolate mousse torte. There were five of us and we enjoyed every bit of it!

    Long wait for table that was reserved and even longer wait to get drinks and food. We had reserved an hour and 15 mins for dinner to make it to a show and ended up being late due to very slow and poor service.

    Restaurant said they didn’t have my reservation and made me wait for a table even though the restaurant was over half empty. I showed the hostess an OpenTable confirmation, but they didn’t seem to care. There was a system “glitch” which caused the kitchen to lose our orders. We waited a good 45 minutes between app and entrees. When the entrees arrived, one of the orders was incorrect, but we didn’t say anything because we just wanted to get out as quickly as possible. I don’t usually leave bad reviews, but I’ve worked in the service industry and I know that when a guest has an experience this poor, management should at the very least comp part of the meal. I will not be returning.
