   When the Pez Carina management decided to leave Open Table, they did not contact loyal regular diners who had existing reservations. The reservations could not be cancelled or updated. Open Table disregarded my emails requesting assistance. I have a $20 reward with Pez I fear is worthless.

   Server added $26+ to her tip without our consent. Discovered via fruad report on credit card. Server was beyond horrible and not attentive. Manager gave us a really hard time when we complained about the bad servicebut eventually comp'd the drinks. Didn't believe us when we complained a few days later about the fraudulent tip add on behalf of the server. Will never go back.

   The food was very good. For the price the quality was good with fresh ingredients and a good guacamole. However, the service is extremely poor. Just not enough people to help. Also, they need to change the position of their brunch. In addition, they should never run out of plates during a brunch! At one point, from my advantage view, for a solid 15 minutes of time, I did not see one waiter. Not acceptable during a beautiful busy Sunday brunch.

   This is by far one of my favorites of all time. The staff is great and the food is excellent not to mention the drinks!!

   This place is being mismanaged but has the potential to turn it around. The back of the house is putting out consistently good food, the drinks are potent and fresh, the neighborhood is appreciating, the terrace is magnificent, but the front of the house seems disorganized, tired, and always harried. We're too often having to flag someone down for service or a drink and truly feel badly for the employees who seem tired and overworked. Our meal arrived oddly...beans and rice arriving a full 10 minutes prior to our meat or tortillas (we ordered a molcajate). Our bus man did an inadequate job of fixing a wobbly table and just ended up spinning the table around so that my husbands' plate, cup, fork, and napkin were now in front of me and mine in front of him. The presentation was sloppy and molcajete sauce oozed on the table. I think this was our 4th and last visit as $78 .00 PLUS tax and a 20% tip for two adults with only 3 margaritas between them is too much to pay for regrettable service that does not seem to be improving with time.

    made reservations for 5 for Easter Brunch. The location is right in Downtown, and I am sure gets lots of business during the week. We arrived early and were seated immediately. We waited for a while before anyone came to our table. Finally the hostess came and brought set ups and explained there was only buffet available. I was disappointed since I was not informed when I made the reservations or when I called to increase the number of guests, and not even when they called me to confirm. The pricing was $30 for buffet, $40 for buffet with Mimosas and Champagne, and $ 50 for buffet, mimosas and beer and wine. There were several large groups, and only one waiter. He was hustling, and really needed another waiter. It took forever to get a drink. We got there at 1, and the place was a mess. Dirty dishes piled up, no water service at the tables. I waited at the table while everyone went to the buffet. when they returned, I went to get food. There were no clean plated. so I used a small oval dessert plate. There were bugs near the fruit so I passed on that, the shrimp looked old, so I passed on that Served a few things on my small plate, Chicken Chinga, chile ciquelles, and some potatoes. They had a pot pooled, but again no bowls. went to the table and all the food tasted the same. Very disappointed. Finally they had some bowls so served some pisole. That was the only real serving I had to eat. the desserts were all good, but clearly brought in. The other tables were all large groups and clearly had lots to drink. the group of guys next to us were loud and obnoxious, one said he had 13 cocktails. I don't question, based on the belligerent conversations . the other large group I think were owners of the place. They had all the attention. They were walking around with bottles of champagne and carafes of OJ. I wont be going back.
