We had a great time at Peya, our server was excellent. The food for the most part was amazing. The portions were a bit small, but not anything outrageous. The cocktails were fantastic. We had, daal, ratatouille, mussels, cornish hen, oysters, naan, rice, and creme brulee. The naan was some of the best naan I've had. The daal as well was divine. My only critique would be the mussles, slighly gritty, and the presentation/style was not what I was expecting, and didn't enhance the dish.

I really enjoyed trying this restaurant. The menu had great items with Indian and French flavors. The cocktails being served were really beautiful. Although I wish there was more of a selection in the main entrees. The service was a bit slow for my liking as everyone around us was getting their dishes fast and I’m not sure if it was because our table was so small but I didn’t like only getting one dish at a time and having to finish that one dish before we got our next, and our first dish took almost an hour after being seated. Our server seemed liked she was more dedicated to the other tables around as my friend and I just sat there waiting for each dish to slowly come.

Decided to try someplace new. Turned out Peya was a great choice and we will be repeat customers. Food is share plates and was excellent and artfully presented, cocktails were unique and tasty, service was friendly and attentive, restaurant design has a vintage feel and is relaxed and comfortable. I hope people give this gem a try!!

What a nice fusion between Indian and French cuisine. All dishes were prepared fresh and were just so flavourful and unique. Great service, nice ambience and amazing food (if a bit pricey).

My partner and I received great service from the moment we walked in and were given the beautiful corner table for our reservation. The flavours were exciting and delicious and the presentation of each meal was outstanding. The atmosphere did not feel pretentious but highly enjoyable. I would highly recommend for a special night out or a casual friday date night.

An absolute neighborhood gem! Discovering Peya on Opentable, I knew nothing about the restaurant and saw that it was Indian + French fusion and was immediately intrigued. I brought two of my local friends there who haven't heard about it and we all ended up loving the experience,. Mind you, Peya was so new at the time I wrote this that it was not even on the map of Lyft / Uber! We ordered a dozen of oysters and the elk Tartare... absolutely uniquely delicious. For mains, we ordered the rabbit pilaf, lamb flat bread and cheese and potato plate and the rabbit pilaf is a standout. I forgot to mention that the cocktails are also exquisite and unique. I got the Mango Sazarec and am still thinking about it now. Enjoy Peya... what a gift to the YVR restaurant scene?
