The most overpriced tacos ever! $8 for a taco that is tiny. Three don't constitute a full meal. The place feels like such a ripoff. The tacos are fine but nothing special and definitely not for the price. Chips are good.
The good is amazing and great customer service. I'll definitely come back.
My brother brought me there to celebrate my birthday. It’s one of my fave spots so we were happy to support. We are both restaurant managers so we are hyper aware of service by default.
The food was amazing, and our server, Mallory, was outstanding. And it’s very reasonably priced. Can’t wait to go back, I think about their cauliflower nachos pretty much every day. Highly recommend Petty Cash
Waitress wasn’t attentive. It smelled like a port o potty.
Amazing effort to provide the safest and most comfortable environment. Staff was incredibly warm and gracious.
Outstanding bites and service
Everything was amazing, I just felt like the tacos were a tad overpriced but everything tasted great!
My favorite place for margaritas with spacious outdoor seating now that we have the outdoor dining ordinance in place.
We sat as a table of four and ordered a full dinner with drinks/appetizers/tacos.
Our waiter was very attentive, only issue was that we asked for the dessert menu- and I think he forgot. Another 30 min went by without being checked in on and then he dropped off the check. So we left without dessert which is honestly my favorite course of the meal.
BUT still had a great experience. I’m so happy they’ve been able to stay open through all of these covid ordinances- and grateful to all the restaurant staff for showing up and helping people have a more “normal” dining experience right now.
We made the reservation on open table (got the email confirmation and reminders the day of), but when we showed up at the restaurant (a few minutes before our set reservation), we were confused to find out the restaurant was not open. All lights were off.
Nothing against the restaurant (we’ve always enjoyed it whenever we’ve gone), but i still don’t understand how we were not informed that the restaurant was not open. We made the trip over and found out when we pulled up to the restaurant. Always prefer to use open table over other apps, but this will make me look into the other ones a bit more next time we are making a reservation.
Best Mexican! Amazing selection of mezcal. Cauliflower nachos are sooo good. Everything is amazing highly recommend.
Had a great time! Food was delicious :)
Really great food! Pricier than most taco shops but worth the extra $$$. It was cold outside and it would be better if they bring out the heater when we were dining.
The food was fantastic. The house margarita was flavorful and well made. My table ordered the chimichangas, napalas plate, chips and salsa, and the zucchini quesadilla. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food. The chips in the chips and salsa were so warm and the salsa options were incredible. All the plates were flavorful, unique, and affordable. Thank you!
Super expensive for one tiny taco
It was a fun place for lunch and dinner!
So, they got us seated fairly quickly. One "pain-point" is the layout of the outdoor dining. I understand they're trying to adapt to COVID guidelines, but the outdoor heaters were only near some tables. I was freezing! The service was great- very attentive and friendly.
Also, where are the shrimp tacos?! That's a big miss to me.
I love Petty Cash because of their chips and guac and margaritas! They also have some very delicious tacos including the Al Pastor and the butternut squash one when it's in season
Always AMAZING food!! Best margaritas in LA! Service impeccable. My favorite spot. Accommodation for outside dining well thought out and implemented.
Food was delicious! I got the crane asada and fish tacos. Both were amazing!! Very pricey though
Love Petty Cash but wasn't aware the restaurant closed at 10pm but they still offered a 9:30pm reservation - Google says closes at Midnight. Anyways, we were seated late because our table wasn't ready so had about 10 minutes to order anything/everything we wanted. Hopefully they can update their operating times soon to avoid further guests being rushed/disappointed.
Sat my party of 6 just 11 minutes before the kitchen AND bar closed. Rushed us to eat and pay. Why would they take a 9:30 reservation if they close at 10 and say over 15 minutes late. Didn’t offer anything to compensate (we didn’t ask).
Good social distancing Good social distancing Good social distancing
Absolutley delicious and our server (Celestial?) was outstanding. Cauliflower Nachos?! What? Excellent. Margarita's (believe called the good sh*t) are delicious and dangerous. They also did a great job with the temporary Covid Sidewalk patio.
My fave place to go! Great and friendly service! Unique menu.
Best chips ever! Love the drink menu too! The refried black beans are the bomb. I always get the cauliflower nachos with the crispy Brussels sprouts. The fish taco is tasty too. The social distancing Covid set up makes you feel safe. It’s spread out well.
Great service! Food was delicious! Enjoyable and casual.
They do not have official outside patio so they set up the dining room on the sidewalk. Besides the being in the middle of sidewalk with no barrier and tables were even so close curbside if you parked and had passengers and they wanted to get out the car someone will bump the table with car door! I understand business trying to stay open during these difficult times but scale back on seating and place a temporary barrier around dining section if it’s going to be like that.
We were seated on the sidewalk and it was a wonderful meal.
Me and my boyfriend loved it here, the margaritas are amazing especially the pineapple habanero margarita. and the Baja fish taco is my favorite taco there.
Great service and food.
waited a LOOOOOONG time for someone to take our order. But after that everything was TERRIFIC
Amazing food and service. Outside seating area could use a little more cohesiveness, but overall great experience!
Very nice mezcal margaritas for $13.
Outside dining atmosphere was blah. Served dirty dishes with luke warm water out of a Corona wide beer bottle. Tacos are super small with not much octopus or meat inside but tast good. Paid for chips and salsa.
Would not recommend.
Everything is perfect. The service, the food, the ambience. You do not feel like you’re in the middle of a busy LA street. It feels festive and the margaritas are divine!!!
Great experience, food, atmosphere, everything
Our server was amazing. We had two kids with some nut allergies and she was right on it took care of everything made everyone happy and margaritas were amazing also
It’s ok at best. Definitely not worth the price of admission though. Food was l”ood”1....5 bucks for a shot glass sized portion of ceviche?
Baja fish tacos were delicious! Super friendly waitress. Definitely will return!
The food was ok the price was ridiculous for the food I order carne asada tacos and just got one taco . They didn’t advise me it’s just 1 taco for 8.00 ..It seems like they charge for everything at this place did not have a good experience
Great staff. Service spread a little thin but always great food. Love coming here!
Chimichanga. Period. The most delicious food. Great even during the pandemic.
