Our waiter Cosmos was very personable, efficient and friendly. Food was excellent and we were not rushed. Felt very safe re Covid precautions
Our favorite greek restaurant. Food was excellent!
Family visir
Great Greek food in an authentic place close to everything.
Great service, fresh, well prepared food, excellent value for the money, very pleasant ambiance.
Excellent food. Excellent atmosphere. Excellent service.
The service was friendly and impeccable! The food was good and plentiful, more than we ever thought we would eat.
I had eaten there on several occasions before but it was better than usual! Thank you!
Really nice terrasse on the side. The food and services were great. Really nice bring your own wine.
Unfortunately the crab cakes were not available and the shrimp we ordered were undercooked. Service was good and atmosphere excellent.
Need to invest in new dishwasher !! Most dishes had dried food stains. Unacceptable.
Nice lunch, and quiet like we like. Service excellent
In all fairness to Petros, the weather was hot and the sun very strong. We ate outdoors which is not a wonderful venue. Between the sun, heat and bugs, it was not my happiest moment. The food is fair and the service is fine. Neither is overwhelming. It is a BYOB but the price of the food is high priced. Personally, it is not a place I would frequent.
Overpriced and my steak was overcooked. Average service and they did not compensate for the poorly cooked food
Petros is my son‘s favorite resto. He wanted to go Saturday for the live music. The host treated him with special attention showing him his table options outside. The food is always fantastic and my son was beaming as we left. Always a 10 for us.
Friendly staff and delicious food. We had a great time!
Great prices, great food, great spot for Greek food.
Simply amazing. Best moussaka in Montreal, hands down.
Always have a good experience at Petros, great service and great food
The restaurants main room was running behind for our reservation. They offered us to wait for about 15 minutes or to go downstairs to their other room that is usually used for private parties. There were a number of other clients there so we opted to sit there as well. It was great. Noise level was much lower than main room and service was just as good.
Excellent service, fish, ambiance. But on the pricey side.
One of my go to's. Always fresh, service is awesome
My fav restaurant ! I love the restaurant. It’s a great restaurant.
The food was great as was the friendly service!
Loved loved loved. Great staff great food. I wish they had one in the states. If you arrive before prime time the noise level is perfect. Once the large tables fill up the volume understandably picks up. Brest Greek food I’ve had anywhere.
We enjoyed a delicious meal, with authentic dishes, as per my lunch companion who has Greek heritage. Great value at lunchtime and not noisy, as it was not crowded.
The lamb chops were excellent! Service was also fantastic. Very good value. Went for lunch to celebrate my birthday and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere very much.
Service is a huge issue. Order a $40 fish, ask for no head, comes full of bones. Tried to eat it, couldn’t, waiter said he would bring chicken plate instead after trying to say the bones were small and normal. 2 minutes later, head waiter comes to table with the plate the other waiter took away “I’m not trying to argue, but these bones are normal, and if you eat the top half, there is no bones” so we eat 50% of a fish.... again said I’ll bring you the chicken but we were wrong. Told him to leave the fish, didn’t eat it and got charged full price....
$117 bill for 2 people with no drinks..
unacceptable service
Food was excellent. Service friendly and efficient.
The food is not worth of what you are paying for. We got calamari, that was good. The salad was just big pieces of tomato and big piece of feta cheese, just 4 olives !
The fish of the day that charged us $40 was less than average. The waiter that was the owner the day we went was snobby and wanted to force you with what he wants and actually did it. At the end we paid $230 for two adults two kids no desserts no drinks and no coffee.
Never come back again, with that money there are much better high quality restaurants in Montreal area.
The restaurant is quite pretty. The food is awful and the prices very high. The quality of service was very poor. The waiter seemed disinterested and combined with the terrible food, the scene was most unpleasant. The best part of the dinner was my wine and their yogurt dessert. It was a rather expensive dinner at $150.00 for three people plus tax and tip
Absolutely one of my favourite places to eat! The lab chops are to die for! I have dreams about those lamb chops! Everything was delicious!
We enjoyed our dinner with friends on Christmas eve. The service was impeccable and the noise level tolerable. The only criticism is that the fish was not warm enough. As the Mediterranean sea bass was quite pricey, it should have been served at the right temperature.
We had lunch on Christmas Eve. It was unexpectedly quiet with only two tables being served while we were there, although it's usually quite full and a bit noisy in the evening. The two of us who had moussaka -- both Greeks with plenty of experience eating moussaka -- judged it to be the best they'd ever tasted. The other two had grilled chicken and spanakopitas, also excellent. All portions were large, and one of the moussaka eaters had to take half of it home in a doggy bag (which was cheerfully provided).
The restaurant has the decor of a comfortable psarotaverna. The service was prompt and friendly. We brought a bottle of white wine, and we were provided with an ice bucket to keep it chilled. The prices were a bit steep -- $20 to $25 each -- including soup, coffee and dessert, but not unusual for Westmount.
Great restaurant and food. Lunchtime is especially nice since it is great value for money.
The large seafood platter was not overly generous for $150. All items were delicious but the fish on that platter was bland and very small portion. Zucchini chips and fig salad were excellent.
Service was too fast, we felt we were rushed out. It is very cold sitting by the window.
Service was good, very friendly.
All in all, a great restaurant but portion sizes could be more generous for the price.
The restaurant relocated! Please update your website with the new address! We went to the notre dame address not knowing they’re on william street.
Everything else awesome great for groups just be patient service wise.
The food is good but was disappointed to be told when we arrived that we had to be out by 8pm. Was not told this when I made the reservation. Felt like we were rushed so they could clear our table as fast as possible. It was good enough for me to want to go back their with friends
For a fish restaurant I was very disappointed that the octopus and calamari were both overcooked and tough. The octopus is not cheap and for the price you would expect it to be prepared better. The fried cod needed a bit of salt. And a 2$ recycling fee for a BYO place added insult to injury, only place in Montreal that I know about that charges for bringing wine.
Service great though!
Great ambience! Great food! Great service!
Only wish I knew it was byob... :( otherwise fantastic and will take vino next time!
