Great recommendations by the server of salmon and their famous bread pudding is out of this world.
Excellent restaurant, great food including desserts. It is one of our favorites!
Great old school fancy french.
I like jazz and kept one eye on the band near whom we were seated so I was okay with the energetic vibe.
There is no open table category for parking / valet but that is the only thing on which they'd get dinged.
Love this place! Food is fabulous! Owners and staff go above and beyond!
Had drinks at the bar. One was great, the other very average.
Appetizers and dinner were great with a wonderful meal and great service. Have been here before and the standards are still very high at Petite!
The apple desert was fabulous.
We enjoyed a delightful evening at Petite Violette. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was excellent and there was very pleasant music in the background, not intrusive, but a volume which added to the pleasure of the evening.
Alway a great meal! Their menu has so much to offer. I have tried many of the items on the menu and have never been disappointed. The entire staff in the restaurant is outstanding from the servers to the manager. This has become my favorite restaurant and I reside in Johns Creek!
You can tell that the chef cares about how the food tastes.
The food and the service were both very good. Having been semi-regular at the original location in Toco Hills, we were very pleased to find at the dining experience was very pleasant and the food as good as the original location
superb continental cuisine and Oktoberfest strudel, veal, sauerbraten
Excellent food and service.
My husband lived in England for a year, and he loves Beef Wellington. He said " This is the best Beef Wellington I have ever in Atlanta, it's just as good, if not better than the ones I had in Lindon."
We had the German food that is available in October. All the food was very good. Look forward to going again for the regular menu plus next year for German food.
We were happy with the service and the food was really good.
Always excellent all around. My go-to for French cuisine.
Anniversary dinner with the Mrs. was outstanding. Kendrick, our server, was just fabulous. Sauerbraten was a taste treat. Good wine. A lovely evening.
We requested and received a nice quiet table. So many places are too loud to have a conversation. Not here. Our server was one of the best we've had in a long time. She recommended an excellent wine and guided us expertly through the menu. The food was very tasty. We will be back for sure.
My husband had Croquette de Crabe
Jumbo Lump Crab Cake seasoned served with tangy mixed Greens and our homemade Sundried Remoulade Sauce
And I had Crepe d’Homard
Lobster, Leeks, Tomatoes, Boursin Cheese, Lobster Butter
My husband had Cotes d'Agneau*
Grilled New Zealand Lamb Rack painted with a Touch of Mustard. Crusted with Garlic and Herb flavored Bread Crumbs.
I had Coquille St. Jacques
Fresh Jumbo Diver Scallops pan seared with Beurre Blanc, served with Whipped Potatoes and touched with Hollandaise.
Everything was delicious.
Our small group (3-5 of us) eats there every couple of months and we love it. We are warmly greeted, our servers are consistently helpful and exceptionally pleasant, and we always enjoy whatever we eat. It is a perennial favorite among other friends and neighbors as well.
First visit since Petit Auberge merger, wasn't confident it would be the same as previously. Happily, it was, with the addition of an Oktoberfest menu reflecting the Alsatian influence. The best of both worlds, you might say. Had the coq au vin, couldn't have been better and a great buy. My companion had the very generous trout. And the German platter that one of our table mates had was something that one would be embarrassed to finish. The atmosphere was, as always, charming and relaxing. If I had to find a negative it was the slow bar service.
Jess was awesome! The restaurant needs updating, but food & service was great!
It was excellent!
Delicious food. Soft music in the background. Great place for a get together and a quality meal.
My wife and I have been to Petite Violette and the former name, Petite Auberge, many times over the years. Once again it met all of our expectations. Definitely a great restaurant for very good French and German type food. The October menu has very authentic German type food in addition to the regular menu. We definitely recommend Petite Violette.
Always feel welcomed and appreciated when arriving here. The chairs are very comfortable and the whole place has an inviting chic ambiance that we love. Food: the best! No need to wonder if they are really good at that 'special one thing'...everything is special here! So, sit back, relax and enjoy anything on the menu. You won't be disappointed.
Mom’s group of 5- everyone loved their food, service was great and we could actually hear each other talk at the round table where we were seated. We meet every few months and all agreed the experience was so good that we will be back for our next meeting. Thank you for a great night out!
Nouilles Aux Legumes with Truite
Great food and service the three friends with me had never been before and they really liked everything about it.
We always have an excellent meal there - one of our favorite restaurants.
We enjoyed Petite Violette so much. It now ranks among our favorite restaurants. I especially recommend the SALADE PETITE AUBERGE! Oh my goodness. Lovely scallops and wine. We were seated a little too close the the live guitarist/singer, so we had trouble with our conversation, but it wasn’t unpleasant. Highly recommend!
We had a wonderful dinner. We think though that the service should be less rushed. It is a French restaurant after all where you take time to enjoy the delicious food.
It was wonderful
Always delicious with great daily specials. The service is always impeccable. This was a perfect choice for a ladies lunch. Tables aren’t crowded together and music isn’t loud, so you can actually talk. This is a top pick for sure.
Consistently good. We love all parts of the menu. The salmon, trout entrees are favorites. Lobster crepe, escargot appetizers are good. Excellent salad and desserts. New variety with evening musicians is a treat.
I can’t imagine after this experience how a native of the area didn’t know about this place. I’ve missed so many great meals. Incredible food! Terrific service
This was our first time. We tried it on a whim and we are so glad we did. My husband had the Reuben which was one of the best he’s ever had. His truffle fries were amazing!!! I had the infamous quiche. Evidentially that was a standard that the locals all loved. Now it makes a showing randomly. Well, I’m glad I tried it. It was amazing! Our server was wonderful too. She gave us her honest opinion about menu items we asked her about. It was so refreshing that it was so honest and NOT just how much the entree might be. She wasn’t giving her opinion to increase her tip. Which, in reality, we gave her more just for her honesty! We were pleasantly surprised at our random draw for a restaurant in the area we happen to be in. We will be back!!! My husband woke up the next morning STILL thinking about his Reuben and he can’t wait to have it again.
We especially enjoyed the live music, re-connecting with Berne Poliakoff, a musician we used to hear at South of France before it closed.
This was our first dining experience at this establishment. The hostess upon entering was very pleasant and accommodating. They were flexible with our table seating and welcoming with showing us around. They mentioned their monthly Dining was a Diva and we plan to make a reservation soon.
Food was wonderful and service was extremely attentive. Wonderful lunch experience. Reasonably priced wine list was appreciated. parking is awkward but tolerable.
