Welcome to Petite Violette Restaurant, where you'll encounter delicious French Provençal cuisine, warm friendly service, an atmosphere exuding warmth and charm, live music 2 nights a week and a full bar with many fine wines — whether you're wanting an intimate dinner for two or a party space for two hundred!

Our building, a one story gray structure, sits back from the street, so we are easy to pass by!                                                                     All four of us were happy with the lunch experience on Mother's Day. We chose lunch because the evening prices were higher than we wanted. The entree choices were very good. We would have preferred an onion soup on the menu, but not available. I thought the rolls were very hard, although plentiful. Like softer bread with more butter available. Lobster bisque was good. Liked the sea bass and others liked their steaks and lobster meals. Desserts were good. Never been a fan of valet parking.

                                                                    We had the Seabass and it was a bit salty for both of us. We had to use the mashed potatoes and spinach that came with it to drench out the salt taste, but would have much preferred a better tasting piece of bass that didn't have to have its overdone seasoning masked. Drinks were great, as was the service.

                                                                    We were there to celebrate the birthday of a friend’s mother….a young 89!! And she’s French! The food was delicious and the service attentive. This is my “go to” spot when I want a lovely lunch!
