Excellent service, large portions, great location in mid-town. Highly recommend.
Kale salad with avocado, carrots, pomegranate seeds with perfectly cooked chicken. So flavorful. I’m trying to recreate it at home but not the same.
My associates had other salads which were equally as good. We are until there was no more.
Esdy business conversation place. Not loud like others.
Ambience was a bit odd, restaurant was almost completely empty until 7:30pm and there seemed to be too many employees on the floor. Because it is right next to a hotel there were a lot of patrons in business meetings and working on their laptops, music could be more interesting to fill up some of the quiet. Food was ok, ordered the steak medium rare but it was medium well. Restaurant was adequate, best part is its location.
disappointed that you didn't have more chicken dishes [including my favorite from months ago] on the menu
Delightful surprise right in my work neighborhood. I was looking for a place to have lunch with a friend and Le Petit Poulet was perfect. The food was delicious, the service great and the noise level low so we could enjoy our conversation. Highly recommend.
Valentine’s Day dinner
My 2nd visit here. Stuck with the same meal i had the last time. Mussels. They are excellent. The fries that joins then are great. .
The staff is attentive and efficient. I love this place. My fav gem in NYC.
This is a very nice French brasserie just a couple blocks from MSG. We enjoyed our food very much. I loved the French Onion soup! I had mussels and frites and my husband had the chicken and both were delicious with generous servings.
Food was average, my eggs were over cooked. Portions were large though. The coffee was just ok nothing great about it.
Christmas Eve and staying in hotel that connects. Everything about our experience was exceptional. They had a special holiday menu. Our waiter was very helpful
Overpriced for mediocre food. we ordered the smoked salmon with cream cheese on a bagel and the menu had also listed that it came with capers. When we asked about the absence of the capers, the server came back and said that they had run out. No apology. No offer of anything else.
Nice enough, but pretty run of the mill. Nothing special.
Except for the exhaust fumes from the kitchen it was great! After leaving and heading home, Petit Poulet lingered — the exhaust fumes that permeated my coat’s fabric, caused my dear mate on NJ Transit sitting next to me to ask”where have you been?”
Great breakfast spot. Best French toast I’ve had in a while. Service was wonderful.
Excellent food and service! We had a lovely time and great spot near MSG!
Cozy small restaurant near the Empire State Building, Madison Square Garden in Penn Station. Very friendly and helpful staff. Recommended!
Service was top notch - food was absolutely delish - the banana flan was sublime - and the Maitre d' knew my name, and pointed out my date - very fabulous experience. Highly recommend.
Super repas. Service rapide et attentionné. Un super adresse sur New York. On y retournera avec plaisir
I always enjoy this restaurant. Excellent French food. The staff is kind and accommodating-they made sure to let me know, in advance, that they could modify an option for vegetarians, and then checked in with me st the dinner.
Very good quality of food. No waiting, may be a little bit speed. We booked a table for thanksgiving and it was a wonderful experience.
Wonderful experience. Tasty!
Exceptionally courteous and considerate service. Never a feeling of being rushed. The restaurant is fairly quiet and the food is well prepared and very fresh.
Everything was better than I expected. Next time I will schedule dinner for 8 pm or later. The 6 pm hour was a bit too noisy
Visited NYC to see Trevor Noah and stayed at the Radisson Hotel, where the restaurant is located, a five minute walk to Madison Square Garden. We decided to eat at Petit Poulet for convenience. The service was very good, the food - french onion soup, a burger and one of the day's specials, spaghetti with bolognese sauce, was spot on. The soup was not too salty as french onion soup can sometimes be and it was topped with gruyere cheese. The burger I really can't comment on because my partner ate it so quickly I didn't even get a bite. My curly spaghetti was made with a white bolognese sauce, which was quite spicy and a dish I would definitely order again. We passed on dessert so I can't comment, however, from what I could tell they looked delicious.
Going to a late 9:30pm tip-off for University of Kentucky basketball game. Perfect bistro setting for a leisurely dinner before heading to The Garden. Will go back when in that neighborhood even if not going to a game. Menu was simple with a nice variety of choices at multiple price points.
A nice little find not too far from Penn Station. The maitre d' was very welcoming and the servers were quite attentive. Prices were reasonable for midtown Manhattan. We both had hangar steak and fries and enjoyed the meal. I have no complaints, and I'll certainly be returning.
Charming. Very much like being in a small bistro in a small town in France.
No children’s menu - no smaller portions
Had a business meeting with a decent table after requesting a quick table. Food was good. Did not get open table points credit even though I checked the box they required.
We made a last minute reservation on Friday night for my family of 4. The service was wonderful from beginning to end. If I could change one thing, I must say that the charcuterie, though delicious was not great dollar value. I'm a Chef and am greatly aware of cost. The main courses were all plentiful and delicious! We did not have dessert. Would return and recommend.
First time here and loved it. Mussels were excellent. Highly recommend
Our only disappointment was that the online menu showed duck, and bouillbase but neither was on the menu the night we went.
The food we did have was excellent.
Food was good. Omelette was very well made and service by Pedro was excellent.
We went to Petit Poulet on the recomendation of our hotel concierge. The restaurant and it's menu looked inviting upon arrival. The noise level made conversation with my wife difficult. I ordered Hanger steak frets and found the steak very tough and over-cooked. The fries were perfect! My wife ordered escargot and mussels. The escargot were good but tiny. The mussels good but very small.
Very friendly service, just plan on a longer stay than usual - they follow the French tradition of unhurried dining!
Food was excellent, nice wine list.
A gem in a generally gastro-lousy neighborhood. Our favorite before any event at MSG.
Excellent all around. Nice menus, terrific service.
This restaurant is quite the find. My sister in law first introduced me to this place a few years ago and I've been a regular patron ever since. Thank you Petit Poulet!
Nice surprise to find a cloth napkin restaurant on a street lined with sports bars and other beer 🍺 joints. The food was good, service was fine and the ambiance pleasant at (for midtown Manhattan passes as) a reasonable price. We feel we got value for our money and a memorable experience too. I’d be happy to go back to try other items on their menu.
