Peter Pan Bistro
Peter Pan subscribes to the "nose-to-tail" philosophy, popularly readopted over the past few years. This approach extends beyond simply the consumption of meat, instead embracing the responsible use of all raw ingredients. More than an education through food, what some take as byproducts of cooking, nose-to-tail sees as ingredients in the search for pleasure.
Good food as always! Everyone enjoyed their selections - especially the fresh baked scones and madelaines!
Beautiful small corner restaurant with great ambiance, food and pride.
Iconic Peter Pan Bistro has survived through the changes to Queen St. West. They set up in advance for our party of 14, took orders quickly and delivered all the food at once. And the food was great - Eggs in tomato and peppers, giant burgers, Cornish hen. Our group highly recommends this restaurant.
Very reliable with nice bistro atmosphere, fantastic service and yummy well presented food. Had steak frites and the meat was fantastic
Lovely atmosphere. Very chill and relaxing. Food is well presented and delicious. Will come back for sure.
Quiet restaurant with interesting decor and a limited menu. Our meals (special lamb pasta dinner, charcuterie plate, salad) were all excellent. So... perhaps limited selection but good selections.) I would definitely go back.
Brunch was great! Eggs benny was very nice and the Fried Chicken Sandwich was phenomenal!
Restaurant attempted to over charged then came up with bogus reasoning for their actions just because they weren’t busy. Left very angry. its just not acceptable.
Love the foods and setting in the restaurant but definitely not a place for chatting as my party could hardly hear each other during the lunch.
Amazing and friendly service, Ian was lovely! All of our food was amazing, especially the charcuterie/cheeses and the Devils on Horseback. Our wine was exactly what we were looking for, I think it was the special of the day, and the vibe was relaxed, warm, and welcoming. Would definitely recommend and will be back!
A delightful place for conversation over a delicious meal.
Great service, great atmosphere. This quaint bistro is perfect for a Sunday brunch. Would bring my girlfriends here again!
The staff were very accommodating of our office needed and went out of their way to make the dinner best for our guests.
We had a wonderful night. The food is delicious. Service is attentive, very friendly. The restaurant is an old bistro with beautiful tin ceilings and booths from the 1930's, so, great ambiance. Will definitely go back.
One of the best burgers I have ever had!
And it went perfectly with fantastic cru Beaujolais, that was half price because it was Wednesday:)
Great food & service- will definitely be returning.
I hadn’t been to Peter Pan since I immigrated to
Toronto in 1975. Back then, it was THE burger and shake place to go and I loved it.
Well, it’s gone quite up scale since then but I loved it when I was there for lunch last week. I had a great brussel sprouts Caesar salad and tried their famous popcorn. Both dishes were new to me. I’ve had Caesars many times but never a brussel sprouts one and the popcorn was definitely unusual and delicious. Lunch was finished off with fresh, madeleines, right from the oven. I left quite satisfied as the portion size for my meal was perfect.
Staff were friendly and service was great. The ambiance is also lovely. My one suggestion is that the booth space is a bit tight but I’d sit there again because the restaurant is worth it.
Amazing Beef Tenderloin and sunchoke soup. Horrible sticky toffee pudding.
One of the best steaks I’ve ever had! Lovely wine and cheese as well.
My partner and I go here every year for Valentine's and love it every time.
We had a great meal! Terrific service, delicous food. Comprehensive wine list too. I havent been there in a few years and that is a mistake! We will be returning there more often. Thanks Peter Pan!
Food is mediocre at best. Service not bad. Very noisy.
Excellent wine service and extensive list of wine
Food is well made and we'll seasoned
Great spot for brunch. Busy joint. Having a reservation helps a lot.
The orange wine list is amazing! The server was knowledgeable and knew exactly when to approach the table without interrupting. Would highly recommend!
I loved it. Our service was fantastic. We had some options off of the winterlicious menu and they were very good. The wine selection is amazing, and Wednesday night makes them exceptionally good deals. I have already booked again, and would certainly recommend it to a friend.
We reserved for winterlicious but apparently the restaurant does not serve the wintelicious menu during weekend brunch so that was a disappointment.
Food and service were good.
The food was so delicious, portions were perfect and the service was so helpful and friendly!
Really cute brunch spot in Toronto with good pricing. We had pretty bad service (they didn't come around much and forgot to put in an order). But it's a fairly simple and cute vibe.
Really great bunch menu with lots of options!
Steak frites and venison were delish! Definitely recommend!
Great evening.. the service was fabulous both the food and wine servers.
Thank goodness we made a reservation for Sunday morning or else we would’ve never gotten a table for brunch! This place has a line out the door for a reason! The food is delicious, the atmosphere is beautiful and the wait staff are all extremely friendly and personable! The brunch menu has lots of delicious options, including vegetarian for my friend! The wait times were not long despite it being busy. Overall, really enjoyed my meal!
Always a favorite - great staff and creative cuisine on Queen St.
A great simple low key spot with good competent service - well prepared food and a very good wine list for the size of restaurant
It has been there forever - and we hadn’t been there in years - as good as we remembered and upgraded aesthetically
A warm comfortable place to relax and enjoy a good meal
Our server was quite attentive and very personable, no complaints there.
The Waldorf salad was ridiculously overpriced; I'm a seasoned cook and make a lot of salads and I know that the ingredients in the salad presented to us probably cost about $3, max. Very disappointing. And the coffee we ordered after dinner was disappointingly tepid in temperature.
Good food with some unusual appetizers .Desserts were lacking in choice that night due to many Christmas parties
Amazing meal! Definitely will return soon.
Beautiful setting and ambient lighting. I’ve been to Peter Pan before and understand it can be pricey for its portions. However, this year portion sizes were so small we sent back the cheese board. I’m not expecting a block of cheese to be served, however, 3 bite sized pieces were placed meagrely on the board for 4 people. Honestly I’ve seen larger samples given out at Costco. Servers tried to make up for it by giving out slightly larger peices and and an extra charcuterie board. Servers were unfriendly even before the food was sent back. I won’t be coming back as there is so much more to choose from in the area.
Food is quite good, I really like the room. Too bad it's so noisy. Staff was good.
