We have been to Peter Lowell’s a couple of times and they never disappoint! The food is absolutely delicious! We tend to order a bunch of items and pass it around family style because everyone wants to try everything. We like to sit in the courtyard because we have two little girls and it can be more appropriate to have them outside, the restaurant itself is pretty small. Even with my kiddos, patrons and employees are so nice and don’t ever lose patience.

Busy night- Valentine’s Day. Open table reservation. The only available seats were at a communal table. Not great for romantic night. Food great. Server must have forgotten to put in our order, so waited over 40 minutes for food.

Terrible service, main entree was 1 hour and 40 minutes after sitting down. First wine delivered 30 minutes after sitting down.

We went for a special occasion with our neighbors and had a lovely dinner. We enjoyed sharing the community table with a young family with two very well-behaved children. Delicious food with great local ingredients!

if you are trying to rebrand you need to improve the service.
the waitstaff was great but it took 45 minutes from when we ordered to get our food. and the place was not crowded.
I think Lowell needs to be there a lot more. Or get new management.
also, the lack of gluten free options sucks.

Our waitress Maggie was wonderful! We were there on Dec 30 and sat in the heated room “outside” but we were all very warm. The food was delicious and they put candles on the dessert for our friend’s birthday.

A mixed experience. We were a party of 6 who were quite late for a reservation at lunchtime. We called to let them know we'd be late; they didn't even thank me for the call. All of our servers were quite sullen. Food quality was mixed; there were some great items and some mediocre items. The floorless chocolate cake was terrific.

Food is quite tasty and service is very good. Good selection of beer and wine. A couple shared salads, a soup, and a few entrees. We knew about the automatic 20% service charge, but were still a bit surprised by the $190 tab for four.

I've been to Peter Lowell's for lunch several times before but I guess never on a Sat. It's always been one of my favorites so I was looking forward to lunch. I was very disappointed. They were only serving from their "brunch" menu so only breakfast food available. It's fine if a restaurant wants to offer brunch on the weekends, but please provide your regular lunch menu as an option as well. It's ironic that I cancelled my reservation for Pullman's Kitchen when I read they only served brunch and no lunch (someone complaining on open table). Then I find out that Peter Lowell's had the same issue. And the food was very average - just your basic bacon and potatoes - nothing special - and the minestrone soup was bland and tasteless (ok, the flourless chocolate cake did make the meal). Again, please provide your excellent lunch menu as an option on weekends as well! Thank you.

We had a lovely meal with our lovely neighbors here.
The halibut is superb and we hope that Peter Lowell's will always have this! Salads are fresh and tasty! Great caliber of food at a good price. Always a friendly staff.
We live that it's our neighborhood gem!

The hostess attempted to seat me on the unattractive patio when it was 100+ degrees outside, and five degrees hotter on the patio. When I objected, the person at the front desk explained that the situation was my fault as I had failed to specify indoors when I made my reservation. This issue was suddenly resolved after I expressed my very deep disappointment and suggested to my party that we should leave. When food came, my marrow bones were presented to me raw and cold. I sent them back, and they returned slightly less raw. Raw may be fashionable in other dishes, but it is not what makes marrow bones delicious. Between the attitude of the owner and the person at the door, and the iffy food, my previous enthusiasm for this restaurant has cooled. I'll return, eventually, but there are more reliable choices in Sebastopol.

Hand-made food using local ingredients. A small wine list of well-chosen wines, most of them local, many organic. Most dishes range from good to very good. Nice soups, excellent list of starters, and generally a couple of mains. Casual. Menu changes regularly.

Always a treat! We drive from East Bay to have dinner at Peter Lowell's because it is so authentic and excellent, without being stuffy. Lowell is always so hospitable and the staff is warm and attentive. We choose to come here for special occasions because we haven't found anything in the East Bay that comes close to the standards at Peter Lowell's!

Small seating area inside restaurant and what appears to be outside dining under a covered roof area. Food was locally grown and made. Limited menu. I asked for a chicken dish and they did not have one that evening.

Food and atmosphere were excellent! So good and very unique .
The menu was organic, local and fresh. The wines suggested by the server did not dissapoint.

Peter Lowell's offered a menu that foodies would appreciate
but the restaurant was laid back not pretentious.

This dinner was one of the best we had while we visited Sonoma County!
