The appetizer was good. Both entrees we are ordered were not very good. I did not eat more than 5 or 6 bites because it was so salty. The water said hew would take care of it . There was no adjustment to our check and he did not even come back to get our payment we had to bring it to someone else.
First time at this restaurants. What a Hidden Gem. The food was amazing the chef came out to say hello. The staff was very attentive. Found the restaurant on OpenTable because it was conveniently located a few miles from the Rosemont Theater. Will definitely be going back.
Excellent food. The closest to an authentic Italian restaurant I've found in Chicago. Look forward to going back.
Pescatore has been there for many years so I was pleasantly surprised at how updated it was and how good the food was.
Sort of an outdated looking place. Food, however, was good. Had nice specials and many pasta options. Got there early before a concert down the road and at 4:30 we were only ones in the place so maybe did not get a true feeling of the place with people actually in there.
We love this place, it's a hidden gem. The service and food is always above par.
Service was absolutely great!
Food was delicious!! Definitely would go again!!
After missing our reservations after a show we found Pescatores. The food was delicious. Unfortunately our server was very slow and not very attentive. But the food made up for it for sure.
Found Pescatore for dinning on New Years Eve and was happy they had a time for which we were looking. Great atmosphere, Food and just loved the Green Olives on the table. If anyone is looking for a terrific place to take a date, wife or love one, This is the spot. Thanks for the great time and food.
Many large rooms for group gatherings but even our group of 4 was very comfortable. Great choices and great food as well.
This is a weird place. Strange dining set-up vs. banquet rooms -- but OMG, the food was fantastic! Literally some of the best gnocchi ever -- light as air, melt-in-your-mouth.
The food was delicious authentic Italian and for that reason we'll be back. But skip Friday nights with the live entertainment. It was so loud we couldn't carry on a conversation, and also not very good.
Wonderful restaurant! Intimate in that they have several small rooms, so you're not in one great big noisy area.
The food was superb, and the staff very attentive.
Prices were reasonable too, given the quality of the food- about $50.00 per person, including a glass of wine of beer.
A little off the beaten path from the Rosemont convention center, but certainly worth the cab ride cost!
Always good authentic Italian food. This place always has room for you. The location keeps this place hidden and kept as a neighborhood secret. Waiter had to deal with too many tables to get the best service, but it was nice to see how hard he tried. They will make something that is not on the menu.
I found the food and the ambiance to be authentic Italian. I especially appreciated the emphasis on fish (as guaranteed by the name, of course) but treatment of it was very good. I had octopus as an appetizer and lobster ravioli as my main course and practically licked the plate clean. Portions were generous. The service was professional. The décor which some have described as outdated felt very authentic to me -- and I have been to Italy many times. The only disappointment was that there were not many diners the evening I was there. I was happy for the quiet as I wanted time to talk to an out-of-town relative but would hope that we hit an off night.
Pescatore Palace is a gem! Excellent, authentic, fresh Italian food. Friendly, attentive service. I love eating here!
We took our dad for a birthday celebration and everyone really enjoyed the evening. We'll be back again soon
This reminds me of Italy, especially with the Andrea Bocelli inspired art and music. The service was outstanding. We were running a bit late due to traffic and had tickets to the Andrea Bocelli concert in Rosemont.. The staff went out of their way to make sure our order was placed quickly, yet we never felt rushed. Great food dishes and decent wine. Will definitely go back.
The food was excellent. Other revues said the decor is dated, but it was very comfortable dining there. We were able to hold a conversation easily. The staff was very attentive without crossing over to overbearing.
Tilapia Arriabata was delicious...good portion and tasted awesome!
Food was very good. Server was pleasant and knowledgeable. Listening to Bocelli during dinner was an added bonus. Definitely intend to visit again.
We had a wonderful meal. Hope to be back real soon!
Truly authentic Italian cuisine. Fantastic sauces
Not quite what I expected. The food was average for the cost. The dinner salad could use more than just lettuce and a cherry tomato.
Great food. Had a wonderful evening.
This restaurant is dated, but you may have guessed that with "palace" in its title; however, it is clean and the food was good and the service was fine. No complaints. The best thing about Pescatore is its location. Being a few miles from Rosemont's hot spots it is a great value when compared to the much more expensive offerings near the Convention Center, the Theater and the Shopping Mall. So, I would absolutely recommend it if you happen to be in the Rosemont area for any reason.
I'm basing this review off of the fact that my party dined at Pescatore Palace for New Year's Eve, being that a regular night could be different my some means. That being said, we had a party of 4 and upon arriving, I was pleased with the atmosphere of the restaurant. It looked as if the building may have been a house prior to being a restaurant, and it works very well. We started with the calamari and octopus combo appetizer, which was a special that night, but both items were available as separate dishes on the regular menu. We also ordered a bottle of wine and begin to look more at the menu, which had a lot of appealing seafood and Italian dishes throughout. The appetizer arrived, which was flavorful, but not cooked exactly how it should have been. As much of a lover of seafood as I am, I ordered the Lasagne, and it was fantastic. I didn't get to taste any of the other 3 dishes that were ordered in the group, but everyone agreed that the food was very tasteful. I do have to rave about the service, as it was fantastic and the staff was very friendly. Overall my experience at Pescatore Palace was a good one, and I would definitely recommend it.
The seafood here is super fresh and extremely tasty. It's strange that the restaurant was virtually empty. The service was okay. Some dishes on menu were "out", as were the desserts. Asked for wine list but none appeared. Good food, and not very expensive. Not a bad find, but certainly not the best Italian place in the area.
First, location is terrible. Second, I was "scolded" because we didn't notify Open Table that the number of our party decreased. Third, food was bland. Finally, service wasn't the friendliest.
