Love Pescatore! Fantastic food, great service, and courteous staff. I'm hooked.
A very pleasant surprise. Service was excellent. Hostess was friendly and welcoming. Food was much better than expected. A surprising find in our neighborhood that we took 5 years to discover. We will be back!
Everything was just ‘ok’ unfortunately. It’s a lively place but the dishes and drinks were underwhelming and simply not worth the prices. Not even sure why they bill themselves as an Italian place. Sorry guys. I wish it had been better.
One of my go to places in my neighborhood to take friends- always great food and service, and a good relaxed place to eat.
Lose the DJ. The volume becomes impeding upon conversation.
Excellent food and exemplary service. The carbonara is a must-try. The wine list is good. Very charming atmosphere. I will definitely be back!
Give yourself a tasty treat and head to Pescatore! The shrimp scampi over risotto that I had was a true winner! Their special spaghetti carbonara, fixed tableside in a giant wheel of Parmesan cheese is rich enough for the whole table to share ( our recommendation anyway) . Our daughter had a stuffed pasta of some kind that was delicious as well. This was our second time back and the long stemmed artichoke appetizer was as great as we remembered. The restaurant is small and WILL be noisy- it is NY after all! It was a fantastic last meal for us in that iconic town. The service is fabulous- ask for Lauren and enjoy the honest welcome and cheer that she will bring to your experience!! Buono Appetito!
Really great little spot on the UES. Will definitely be back!
We went here by mistake! I confused it with another excellent restaurant we had been to, and I'm glad I did. This was a very nice find. As local as you can get in Midtown. It's an unassuming storefront with tables upfront, and it's unassuming inside. Food was great, service was great, ambience was local and friendly. I'd definitely recommend it for food and for just being in New York.
$1 worth of lettuce and one anchovy $14!!
Bread was stale
Was there5 years ago. Still great. That says a lot for a venue. Server was 7 stars
A bit pricey but excellent food and service. We had the prix fixe lunch and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Food was delicious, as always, and very fresh. Wait staff were very courteous and attending. We were not rushed either, which was perfect as this was a business lunch and we needed a little extra time. Very nice experience. Will definitely return and recommend this restaurant to others.
There were 9 of us for brunch so that sat us upstairs and it was perfect. I made the reservation and the other 8 people couldn’t stop raving and said it is our new place for brunch get together s. Great brunch menu, the waitress couldn’t have been nicer and attentive . All round a wonderful experience.
the menu items were SO cute and the food was really delicious. we sat outside which was so nice. got a bit sunny and without us even asking, the restaurant clicked a button and put an awning over so the sun was not in our eyes. service was great! had a great time!!! Will definitely be back!
Delicious meal, friendly staff and lively environment, but not overwhelming.
A nice, friendly neighborhood-type place. The waitstaff couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful.
Very disappointed in overall experience. Staff was wonderful--but food was terrible. Ordered a glass of chianti and they didn't have ANY?? An italian wine bar and they were out of chianti?????
The ceasar salad lettuce was limp and old. Bread on table also tasted stale. Entree---pasta, chicken parm and steak were all SUB-PAR. Would not return.
Excellent. The best in town to eat. You can’t go wrong coming here.
My family was in town for a wedding, and we were worried about finding a restaurant that could fit 11 people on a Friday night without being super expensive. Even though we arrived almost 15 minutes early, the table was ready for us. Service was great and the food was delicious. They were also able to accommodate the people in our party who are gluten-free.
Great food and service! Playlist is fantastic as well but a patron did get up and change the music... probably not a good idea to allow access like that 🤷♀️
A neighborhood jewel with a family feel but great for conversations amongst friends. Noise level is quiet to moderate and the food is awesome.
Great brunch spot. High end atmosphere at an affordable price. Also, the boozy brunch specials are hard to beat and the service is great. Will definitely be back.
Amazing . Love the service and food.
Food and service was great! Artichoke lightly fried and nicely seasoned, ceasar tasty, Chilean sea bass perfectly cooked, service was nice and prompt, ambiance was suited for dinner. Overall it was a wonderful dinner experience!
If you want real local NYC food made by locals for locals then come here. No tourist trap. The real deal.
The server was great and the food was fine, however the portions were extremely small. After an appetizer and two entrees, we cooked a full dinner as soon as we got home.
Great meatballs and parm Sunday is a good special. Good wines and spirits. Neighbors place. Tagliatelle bolognese was a disappointment. Too few noodles and they were mushy. Not cool!
Lovely experience with great food, attentive and friendly service
The food was great!!! Our server not so much he wasn't very attentive. We had to inform other waiters of our request as he was no where in sight.
Our table was not ready when we arrived. Service was slow and because the front is a bar more attention placed there.
Food was good but not up to my expectations as it was recommended by our hotel.
The staff are professional and attentive. More importantly, the food is superb. I definitely recommend Pescatore, and will absolutely return.
Somehow they just missed the mark this evening. Squid ink linguine was pastey. I asked if the chef could tone down the heat (spice) a bit, and it came out mild as in NO heat. But the bread was delish as was the flatbread pizza. Waited a long to get the check, finally just asked.
It was great for a quick night in nyc. Enjoyed the place and the hostess and you enter the restaurant.
The best. Don’t worry what you order. It’s all good.
The best gem in Nee York. If you haven’t gone your losing out.
I love this restaurant, but their Sunday brunch was spoiled by the horrible loud music! There were a handful of people and the music was deafening!! One could hardly speak let alone hear ones conversation
Intimate and warm. Delicious food. I would highly recommend for brunch
I've been to many neighbor restaurants in NY; this one is near the top of the list. I rated it 5 stars from service to quality of food and choices on the menu along with the specials. The only small negative was that it was somewhat noisy. The place is small, which I like, but the busy bar and lack of noise absorbing decor created that. I would definitely go back; in fact I can't wait to return.
