Loved our waiter! They have good happy hour apps and wine too!
Never in over 10+ years have I ever had a bad or even mediocre experience. Always excellent in every aspect! Meals all good, but must try the brunch.
The appetizers were on point and delicious. The burger, salad and fries were fantastic! Very nice staff, this is a neighborhood gem! A must try for all!
The noise level cannot be controlled by them in these days of outdoor dining due to coronavirus. The vibe is upbeat and fun at Sunday brunch. Great burger, great mushroom stuffed risotto balls and really good flatbread. The prices are reasonable and the staff friendly and efficient. Worth a visit.
Amazing service, absolutely Covid compliant with space and felt completely comfortable dining inside. We did the prix fixe lunch special and the food was outstanding. Whatever the house Cabernet is is also delicious, juicy and nice finish, was surprised it was a house wine. And when you leave you HAVE to get one of their homemade cheesecake desserts in these cute mason jars to take home. I’m obsessed with the key lime pie, the caramel cheesecake. Actually getting a pumpkin spice one later tonight on my way home from work! An A+ experience for sure!
The bruschetta was odd- a bowl of tomatoes and olives served with a couple of toast crackers. His chicken parm was overloaded with pasta. With the chicken plopped on top ( how do you cut it?). My fish special tasted good but was smothered in a sauce that looked liked French dressing.
Once again the consistency was there, the food was fabulous! I would strongly recommend this place for its excellent food and service. The staff is very pleasant and attentive! Thank You
The food was outstanding and the service was excellent! A must try!!
The burger on the menu was phenomenal, I recommend it highly. Additionally the Chicken parmigiana was exceptional! Service was on point, Thank You
Outstanding! The carbonara, served table side, was delicious. Staff was friendly, upbeat and attentive. Will definitely go back.
Went for brunch with friends and we all hateddddd the food. I’m usually not negative and don’t like leaving bad reviews but it was pretty bad. I will say our drinks were good though! Ordered bloody Marias (Bloody Mary with tequila instead of vodka) and mimosas! For food I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich which had zero flavor and chicken was rubbery. Friend ordered the avo toast with salmon and first the forgot they salmon (happens) but then once she started to cut it there was barely any avocado on the AVOCADO toast. Tiniest little schmear. Really disappointed bc this is a great spot on second ave but will only return for drinks
This Restaurant has always been Steady and it Delivers! Excellent place for brunch, lunch or dinner! A must try!!
Amazing food, took us right on time for our reservation. Great experience!
Highly recommend the lobster pasta and the fried calamari! Both were delicious. The handmade pastas are amazing; you hate going back to boxed pasta after eating something that good! Great neighborhood spot, not overly crowded which is sometimes concerning when you're eating at a new restaurant - but the food spoke for itself.
Enjoyed the seafood pasta, the portion is too big, enough for 2 meals
The seafood pasta dish was wonderful
Great place , great food, great service.
Our favorite lunch place
This is a riot that I am being asked for a review. Open Table processed a reservation for me. Unfortunately, when we showed up, the restaurant was closed up. As in not doing business. I am confused how Open Table could do this. My communication to Open Table has not been addressed. So beware your Open Table reservations, it may not be for valid, open restaurants. So have a back up!
It is such a great neighborhood restaurant with tasty food, friendly staffs & attentive services!
It was fine in every way.
The food at Pescatore is always amazing, and we love how innovative the chef is: 2 out of the 3 of us ordered the specials, and all were delicious. Our server was attentive, and we had no complaints about the food or service whatsoever.
Food was OK. Was years ago we were there last and must have new owners. Nothing like we remembered. More a bar then restaurant.
LOVE! Amazing food and incredibly friendly staff. A neighborhood favorite.
Relaxed vibe with good basic Italian food. Not fancy but delicious. Service was very good and attentive.
Pescatore is a neighborhood gem with consistently good food, service and ambiance.
They offer a great brunch with fun names of dishes. You may complement lunch with a mimosa, belini, sangria or wine.
The service is always professional and friendly.
This is a great date place too.
Very nice experience overall, this place is around my job so it’s convenient. Food was good service was fantastic . Nice cozy area definitely will stop by again .
The food was mediocre. Very noisy and it seemed a little dirty
Very nice Italian. Was there at 1 pm on a Wed and it was surprisingly quiet. The food was good. Service perfectly adequate. A very comfortable place to meet with friend and business colleagues. I will certainly go back.
I've been to Pescatore a number of times - and it's always a really nice experience.
Food is pleasant and enjoyable without being fantastic - but I feel with the price-point more than fair.
I had the Branzino wrapped in parchment paper - which was a really nice way of presenting it. I thought the serving size was very good - not huge or over-whelming (no having to throw much away or doggie bag required) which I really liked.
Service was a little slow - but nothing where it was worth complaining about. Staff were pleasant and friendly - which, for me personally, is more important at times than the service.
I will definitely be going back.
The restaurant is a little cramped with low ceilings and nothing to absorb the noise generated by the patrons crowded into a small space. The food makes up for the frenetic ambiance of the place. We enjoyed the fettucini with lobster and seafood arrabiata as well as the beet salad. The printed menu has a special dish for each day of the week and there are daily specials that the waitstaff will inform you of as well. We had the seabass in saffron sauce and fish en papillote. Both mains were excellently prepared and presented although I felt that the papillote dish was a skimpy. We enjoyed our desserts as well. Would definitely recommend.
The food and service are outstanding.
Great food and service!
We have been going to this restaurant for years. The food is fabulous and the service is outstanding. You feel more like your having dinner/lunch at someone’s home rather then a restaurant. The owner of the restaurant is always on site and makes you feel right at home. We have never had a bad meal here and love the price fix lunch. Great value for the food you receive! Try it and it will soon become a must anytime your on the East side.
My sister and my son (age 11) had a wonderful meal at your restaurant. We will certainly return again.
Cozy place with A++ attention and excellent true Italian food. Would return again.
The kitchen is fabulous here, as is the staff. I had not been there in a few years but they did not skip a beat. Just a great place.
The lamb chops were good. The chicken Parmesan was also good.
our server was lovely and helpful with suggestions to drink and eat. it was very nice but very loud!!!
We were all very happy with our food. Pasta cooked to perfection. Excellent grilled octopus appetizer with a generous portion. Desserts not quite up to the level of apps and main courses. Could not ask for better service.
This is a gem! We were treated like royalty. It's adorable inside, and the service is second to none. The FOOD is just suburb! This was one of the best things we did while in NYC. If you haven't been here, you've missed out on greatness!
