Very nice experience overall, this place is around my job so it’s convenient. Food was good service was fantastic . Nice cozy area definitely will stop by again .
The food was mediocre. Very noisy and it seemed a little dirty
Very nice Italian. Was there at 1 pm on a Wed and it was surprisingly quiet. The food was good. Service perfectly adequate. A very comfortable place to meet with friend and business colleagues. I will certainly go back.
I've been to Pescatore a number of times - and it's always a really nice experience.
Food is pleasant and enjoyable without being fantastic - but I feel with the price-point more than fair.
I had the Branzino wrapped in parchment paper - which was a really nice way of presenting it. I thought the serving size was very good - not huge or over-whelming (no having to throw much away or doggie bag required) which I really liked.
Service was a little slow - but nothing where it was worth complaining about. Staff were pleasant and friendly - which, for me personally, is more important at times than the service.
I will definitely be going back.
The restaurant is a little cramped with low ceilings and nothing to absorb the noise generated by the patrons crowded into a small space. The food makes up for the frenetic ambiance of the place. We enjoyed the fettucini with lobster and seafood arrabiata as well as the beet salad. The printed menu has a special dish for each day of the week and there are daily specials that the waitstaff will inform you of as well. We had the seabass in saffron sauce and fish en papillote. Both mains were excellently prepared and presented although I felt that the papillote dish was a skimpy. We enjoyed our desserts as well. Would definitely recommend.
The food and service are outstanding.
Great food and service!
We have been going to this restaurant for years. The food is fabulous and the service is outstanding. You feel more like your having dinner/lunch at someone’s home rather then a restaurant. The owner of the restaurant is always on site and makes you feel right at home. We have never had a bad meal here and love the price fix lunch. Great value for the food you receive! Try it and it will soon become a must anytime your on the East side.
My sister and my son (age 11) had a wonderful meal at your restaurant. We will certainly return again.
Cozy place with A++ attention and excellent true Italian food. Would return again.
The kitchen is fabulous here, as is the staff. I had not been there in a few years but they did not skip a beat. Just a great place.
The lamb chops were good. The chicken Parmesan was also good.
our server was lovely and helpful with suggestions to drink and eat. it was very nice but very loud!!!
We were all very happy with our food. Pasta cooked to perfection. Excellent grilled octopus appetizer with a generous portion. Desserts not quite up to the level of apps and main courses. Could not ask for better service.
This is a gem! We were treated like royalty. It's adorable inside, and the service is second to none. The FOOD is just suburb! This was one of the best things we did while in NYC. If you haven't been here, you've missed out on greatness!
We ended up at Pescatore after trying to get into several other restaurants first and couldn’t have been happier. The hostess gave us a warm welcome and seated us immediately. Our server was lovely and attentive, the ambiance was warm and inviting and the food was delicious! Highly recommend!
Moved our table because of holiday party. Very considerate and friendly staff.
We were there on a Friday night and the noise level was unbearable and the service was poor.
Awesome. It was great food and even better service.
I was very disappointed in this restaurant. I love octopus and I saw that the chef’s speciality was a 32.95$ dish with octopus shrimp calamari and other fish. What a disaster. The dish had exactly 2 shrimp and was loaded with exceptionally chewy calamari and octopus. So not worth the price. My husband liked his dish but did not think it exceptional. A pink sauce with peas and salmon. The salads were all lettuce with one tomato. We would not recommend this place. Although the service was good and we liked the busboy who brought me an extra bowl of green olives. Glad I had them since the portion size of my dish was not overwhelming.
I would prefer a quieter sound of music since it is packed and one has to shout. The waiter could not wait to get rid of us which was a shame as we were consuming and chatting. good overall
The food here is amazing with great service . One of my absolute favorite places to eat.
Always a great time. Great food
Great food, interesting and delicious cocktails, nice place, a few ambiance options (downstairs more lively, upstairs more quiet), and nice/helpful staff and mgmt. We had a great dinner out with friends. Thanks!
Great place with exceptionally friendly staff. Also best bang for your buck in the neighborhood.
Love the lunch specials!
There is so much really good Italian food in NY - we were a bit disappointed with our dishes, and the Tiramisu seemed store bought. They do offer outdoor dining, which is a big plus and we enjoyed the funky music soundtrack they played.
Nice ambiance for a Monday night. Staff were friendly ! My friend and I had a glass of wine, shared a salad. I had the fish entree and it was delectable. We were too full for dessert!
As always, the brunch was wonderful. I had the pancakes and my friend had the frittata. Her frittata looked a little dry to me but she said it was yummy. I really loved the fried twist on the pancake recipe. Highly recommended for any meal.
First time visit to this restaurant. It was recommended by friends and my wife loves Italian so we gave it a try. Everything was delicious. We started with fried calamari and bufala mozzarella … both were generous portions. For our main course we had the Linguine Alla Vongole and Linguine Pescatore … both were plentiful and absolutely DELICIOUS. We also enjoyed a bottle of pinot grigio (which, to our delight was 50% off). We will definitely return.
The food and service were great, but it was a bit noisy, and conversation was at times
difficult. I wish I lived close enough for takeout or delivery! Still, I'd like to repeat how
good the food was and how efficient and friendly the waiters and other staff people were.
A really nice place with great service. Appetizer-wise, the carciofi were creative and great; the bruschetta was not authentic, but was lightly toasted bread with do-it-yourself chopped tomatoes on the side, this was disappointing. The salmon tartare didn't have much salmon. My friend's pasta was terrific. The drinks were generous and the ambiance really pleasant. I've always had a good meal there.
The air conditioning is just not good.
The food was delicious and the presentation exceeded our expectations. Suggest the table side prepdishes
Always good! Very good for Businesses lunches, no long wait times.
Excellent food and service. Deafeningly loud, which made the meal unpleasant. If you go, sit outside or in the front near the windows.
Overal great find and great deal in the city for great Italian!
Love Pescatore! Fantastic food, great service, and courteous staff. I'm hooked.
A very pleasant surprise. Service was excellent. Hostess was friendly and welcoming. Food was much better than expected. A surprising find in our neighborhood that we took 5 years to discover. We will be back!
