   This was hands down one of the worst dining experiences of my life. We had a 7:00 reservation, and we waited 1.5 hours to get food. One and a half hours. This is not an exaggeration. To get any sort of food. And once we did get our food, it was mostly cold, and they forgot one of our family members entrees entirely. He got it more than 15 minutes later. And it doesn’t end there. My sister in law ended up swallowing some sort of bone in her rice and beans, and understandably freaked out. She ran outside, and as we all just gave up trying to eat and were trying to pay our bill, we found that, not only did they try and charge us for an appetizer we never got, but they didn’t try and do anything to make up for the insane wait. And we even spoke to the manager (which, believe me, is not our style and I even cringe to say it, but we had two kids with us and this whole experience was just awful). Not only would we never go back, I really think this restaurant needs to reconsider their quality of service, oversight of food quality and prep, and general philosophy around how to treat customers. Maybe their feeling is, this is a touristy area, we don’t care. But they should. And I hope others see my review and reconsider their decision to go here.

   Sadly this place has lost its luster. No longer as good as it was. Service was horrendous…wait staff hanging around and patrons sat waiting. Cocktails took forever to be served claimed they had a new bartender. Food was over salted and greasy. Don’t think we’ll be going back.

   It was ok. Nothing special or fancy. Food was so-so. Server couldn’t have been nicer but food came out all at different times, leaving some done eating before others got theirs. Food that came out first was hot, food that came out last was cold. Wasn’t busy but took awhile to get drinks.

   Food was good, just not delicious. Waiter was great. Sat outside which was lovely, except for the flies.

   Service here is always great with very friendly staff. Disappointed they don’t have gnocchi anymore as that was always so good and the alfredo their replacement was swimming in butter. The fish and mamposteao were great and the drinks were fantastic. Sit outside if you can because it is very air conditioned indoors. There are mosquitoes the closer to summer it gets outdoors though.

   Sit outside on deck facing the lagoon. Service friendly and attentive, food was great!

   The food was okay. Service was good. Nothing special about the ambiance of the place. Basic square tables with hard plastic chairs that were uncomfortable. The most troubling issue was a panhandler within 3 feet of the front door who hit up 2 or 3 customers for a handout. No one from the restaurant staff intervened to get him to leave. We delayed our departure hoping he would leave and he must have got enough money from the ones he hit up and eventually left.

    Meh. The Grouper did not taste fresh, the plantain mash had little flavor and the selection of beers was incredibly limited. And the Fried Cheese appetizer was terrible. My children enjoyed their Chicken Tenders and Burger, but overall not worth the price. Our waitress was very nice.
