Great food but the service was a little disappointing

Food selection was excellent and the wine list very good. Staff very friendly and the chiefs did a great job with the meals, very tasty.

Food was amazing! The best Italian food I’ve had in Brisbane. Our waitress was excellent and very attentive. Views were also awesome. Definitely want to go back soon. The duck looked fantastic, we will try that next time

Everything was perfect bar the portion size for the ravioli. It was a pity only about 6 pieces were served, however still tasted fantastic.

Had the set menu - took away all the stress of choosing from too many good options. Delicious. More food than I expected. And the Craggy Range Pinot Noir was a perfect accompaniment.

The restaurant is obviously aesthetically beautiful. The food was lovely and the seating was perfect with a view of the river. However, my partner and I generally found the staff a little apathetic. They were by no means un-friendly, they just didn't seem to want to be there and didn't seem particularly eager to help. Otherwise a lovely experience.

Exceptional as always! Wonderful service, delicious food and fantastic Pinot Noir. Family dinner celebrating Valentines Day, always a terrific experience at Persone.

Service was impeccable along with the amazing food served. Large portions and definitely value for money!!!! Will definitely be going again!!!

Great customer service. I had a fruit fly in my glass of wine and they changed my glass, even though they had to open a new bottle.

It was really not great. Our table was wobbly, the waiter at the end of the meal said she noticed but didn't do anything to fix, food elements on the plate was all different temperatures, it was so loud that you could barely hear the person next to you. Food took over 1 hour to arrive, terrible service with everyone running around franticly but didn't seem to be understaffed, waiter apologised for the table/wait etc at the end but honestly I would never want to go back again unfortunately.

Dinner with fiends, our first visit. Good atmosphere, table well presented. Menu and wine list comprehensive and priced appropriately for the surroundings. Food well prepared and very tasty, good portions. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about his wines the food, service friendly not intrusive. Will be back.

Not that great. Booked for 8pm sat around 8:30pm. I understand things have to be managed differently under Covid Safe plans and restaurants need to maximise revenue because of lower capacities but I guess the two seatings caused a bump in service for the later diners. Would think twice about returning based on this experience.

Some of the most divine food I’ve eaten in my life with outstanding service considering the hassle of NYE. Truly an award winning Italian restaurant and left nothing but great memories.

Absolutely amazing food and so fresh and quite big portions. Really friendly staff and the food came out in a timely manner. We did however, wish that we knew that we had to pay for the water as the staff continued to keep our table of 6 glasses full (which was great). Will definitely be coming back here!

Reasonable quality food but slow service and appeared understaffed. I was left on a few occasions looking around for many minutes (>5mins) to try to get the waiters attention.

Lovely restaurant but can be noisy inside. We moved to the outside verandah area which still had many tables full, but the accoutics were much better. Great service on a busy night.

The service was poor. Being charged for plain water and not being advised of this until the bill arrived. We won’t be back to this restaurant.

The Ragu and Gnocchi were Devine!!! The cannelloni wasn’t as nice as we’d hoped. Restaurant very loud and the air con con stopped working (thankfully just as we finished 😊). Grace the waitress was AMAZING!!!

Great views of the city. Service was slow but it was a very busy Saturday night. Food was delicious.

The service was absolutely deplorable. We waited 1 hour to get drinks. The staff were rude and cranky. We will not be back.

Service was rushed and mistakes were made. We signalled a ‘special occasion’ but there was nothing special. Staff seemed not to be coping with the full house. Not accepting Amex at this level is unacceptable.

Our table was not ready for our booking, which was fine but when we sat down the waiter was rushing us to order. The waiter was not very pleasant and seemed very stressed.
