Persian Room - Tucson
Food was excellent. Service fantastic! So many more items to try...
Great service and food. Waitstaff managed our table of 10 with friendliness and graciousness.
We had a very enjoyable dinner with friends and we were able to carry on a conversation! The service with Emmi was excellent and the food quite good. We will come again. Be in
The food, the atmosphere and the service were great as usual.
Love the lamb, love the atmosphere and love the service.
Tonight was my second time to Persian Room. My husband and I celebrated 56 years of marriage and I had been here in June with a friend so I suggested the restaurant to him. He loved it! The decor, the food and the service! We plan to go again! We took some food home for our son, and he couldn’t eat it all either! We both had the Koobideh, I had the lamb and he had the beef! We also had a side of Humuus and it was delish! We had the rose water, saffron and pistachio ice cream and the server gifted us with a complimentary Baklava with a candle since we were celebrating our Anniversary. Can’t wait to go again!
Exceptional food and service! I am delighted that this Scottsdale restaurant decided to open a location in Tucson.
I looked forward to eating Persian food.
I did enjoy the ambiance of the place. The service was good. The prices on the menu were considerably higher than the internet menu prices.
The dishes we had were ok. The soup was a bit cool.
Everything was great as usual, the food, atmosphere, service.
We had a lovely dinner here with friends from out of town. Our server made some good recommendations for those of us not familiar with Middle Eastern foods. The servings are huge! We had a booth and the noise level was low, so we were able to hear and talk with our friends.
Great food..chicken a bit too dry but all in all very good.
Everything was yummy ..fish done to perfection...not dry...very tender filet....everyone enjoyed their meals...the only thing that bothered us a bit was the noise level of the tables around us... unfortunately that seems to be every restaurant we go to.,...
Excellent food and atmosphere. We have eaten several times and have enjoyed each dining expo. We have invited friends, and they too have loved it!
Pulling up to a strip mall, I wasn't sure what to expect. But the inside is beautifully done, and noise levels were low enough to allow for conversation between all members of our party. The unique then flat bread served with butter, sprigs of basil, and sweet raw onion was delicious and unique. The lamb was exquisite, and cooked to order. The rice with lentils, raisins, and dates was a perfect accompaniment. Service was quick, although an ordered salad never showed up. And how could they run out of the Persian cakes and other desserts so early (we were seated about 6:30)? I guess the desserts will be on our radar for next time. A long trip from the east side, but worth it.
It was delicious! Very friendly servers and it was fun to try different food. It was a little pricey, like $100 for two people but we did have cocktails. I would go there as a special treat!
A wonderful taste of all things Persian. Wonderful portions of tasty rice, veggies and steak. Will try the lentil soup next time. Popped in for a food discovery experience and was not disappointed.
The food was well-prepared with generous portions. The restaurant is quite elegant and upscale, especially for Tucson, though we were comfortable in casual clothes. The service was attentive and we are sure to be back as often as possible.
Great place with wonderful food. Never disappointed with this place. Service is excellent, very helpful people.
Excellent food and service. They were able to accommodate our food allergies perfectly.
The appetizer plate was not good at all nor was the sticky rice. The main courses were average. This is the second time we ate there. The first was much better.
It was my first time at this restaurant and I was very impressed. The ambiance drew us in. Then we were bowled over by the professional service and outstanding food. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we stayed until closing time talking and enjoying the delicious fare. I highly recommend that you try this restaurant. You won't be sorry.
This Perdían Room Restaurant is terrific! The food was great, the Sangris delicious, the Wait staff very accommodating! The decor very very nice, too nice for Marana! Will go there again soon!
The last three times we went the service was horrible and the waitresses were rude!!
The food was excellent. The service was a touch slow (perhaps not enough wait staff).
Great food and lovely atmosphere! Service was excellent. Will return.
We loved the restaurant 's decor and it was quiet . Our server was very pleasant and explained the menu and portions to us. The food was great everything was fresh and delicious. There was a very good selection of deserts and we selected the ice cream and pastry, delicious. The wine list very good variety of wines. We will be returning to enjoy more great meals at the Persian Room .
Best rice I've ever tasted and portions are substantial.
Excellent dining. Best lamb I've ever had. It was tender and moist. The rice was an excellent complement. Service was great. Thanks, Patrick, for making this a great dining experience.
Our first visit to the Tucson restaurant. We been to the Scottsdale restaurant more than a dozen times. Atmosphere is absolutely gorgeous and the food was excellent. My Lamb Chops were overcooked, I asked for medium rare and got well done. I did not send back, but should have. Portions were large and service was a team effort. No complaints.
We love this place but be warned; On the weekend they do not have their lunch menu so you pay for dinner prices. If I had known we would have gone during the week. Plates are about the same but much more expensive. Still a great place. Food and service are exceptional and the ambiance is amazing.
First time at this restaurant and I was very impressed! Wonderful food, ambience and service. I would definitely go again and highly recommend this restaurant to others.
This was our first time at the Persian Room and I must say, it is beyond what we expected.
The service from the moment we walked in was welcoming. We had Michael for our server. I appreciate his service and the way he really recommended plates for us. The food is delicious and I am sad that it's over, I wanted the taste to last longer.
So if you're questioning to make that drive (for those of us that live Central Tucson, East and etc.) to try this place, do it, you won't regret it.
There were 6 of us celebrating a birthday. Got a free dessert for the birthday girl.
This was a delightful evening with friends and delicious food. The spices and flavors are incredible and the presentation was superb. The waiter was trying but seemed a bit disorganized and didn’t fit with the rest of the theme. Still a good experience.
The star rating tells all. The disappointment was that they refused to honor my OpenTable $25. award card. What’s with OpenTable allowing this and not replying to my email message to them to discuss this situation. I don’t know if I will continue to use the app if they renege on their offers. I would like to hear from OpenTable!
Took a couple of friends to the Persian Room this past week. Their first time, our second. As we pulled up, they were seriously wondering where in the world we were taking them. We asked them to trust us, and once they walked in the front doors, they were honestly wowed. The first few minutes, they just kept making extremely positive comments. Waitress was extremely gracious. Supporting staff (extra water, pita bread, etc.) were fantastic. Of course, as all the other reviews attest, we all took home food after filling our bellies.
I don't understand the complaints about the prices. Honestly, at any decent (not even high dollar) restaurant you will pay between $18-$28 per plate. Anywhere in town. That's what you pay here. The prices are extremely in-line with any good quality restaurant. This place is well above "good quality"!
The service was pretty good! Our. Table was ready on time! And the appetizer and food we ordered was very good! And Big portions! We all took food to go! The ambiance was pretty calm and nice!
Love this place
Have been to their restaurant in Phoenix several times; didn’t even know they had one near us in Tucson until recently
Food is amazing: we travel the world regularly - have not been to Iran yet - so very familiar with middle eastern cuisine and The Persian Room does it great - and with unbelievable variety
We’ve been to the Persian Room and it’s excellent for small and large group meals.
This was an amazing meal. We all enjoyed everything! Can’t wait to return.
