Persian Room - Tucson
Great food, different from the norm. Service was a little inconsistent although it was Valentine’s Day...pretty busy.
Had a lovely dinner ant Persian room. The service was great and food was fantastic. We’ve gone twice now and love it.
Really good dinner with friends from out of town
We enjoyed our food very much. Wait staff helpful explaining menu items. However our appetizer humuus order was forgotten and arrived with entrees after we reminded waitress to put it in. Also soup ordered as appetizer arrived with meal. Other than these hiccups we enjoyed our dinner very much and will likely return.
This was our first visit to the Persian Room and we will definitely be back. We chose a combination platter with half salad/rice at the waiter's suggestion. Everything was delicious, including leftovers the next day. It was an early weekday night so the dining room was quiet and good for conversation.
We enjoyed our evening meal. They focus on meat and do it well. The decor and service were excellent. We were not familiar with Persian food and we really appreciated the server’s time and explanations.
This was our second visit to The Persian Room, and it did not disappoint! The food was delicious, and the service was very attentive. We enjoyed our Barg, both chicken and beef, as if was cooked to perfection. I would recommend getting the optional 1/2 rice, 1/2 Greek salad option with your entree otherwise it may be too much rice for some. It's an additional charge but so worth it. Our martinis were also very good. We will definitely be back many more times. It's a good idea to make a reservation if you plan to dine later than 6:00 in the evening as it gets very busy after that.
Unfortunately the food was lack luster.
Excellent food and service. Large portions of interesting food and servers who helped with choices. Food came fast and was well presented. Flat bread was made in full view of the dining room. We took enough food home for another meal but still made room for dessert. It was nice to have a beautiful room and attractive plates of food.
Excellent food, great atmosphere, would highly recommend!
The food was excellent. We especially enjoyed the speciality rice dishes. It was our first visit so the waiter helped us select dishes. His suggestions were most helpful. Although the restaurant was very full the service was attentive and outstanding. We will be returning since the menu is extensive.
Persian food is wonderful and The Persian Room brings this experience to Tucson. We have been to their location in Scottsdale and have been waiting for them to expand. Try the different rices! It is a great dining experience, highly recommended!
Outstanding food and service. Beautiful decor, very comfortable seating.
Poor service and severely overpriced food. Ordered an appetizer platter to share so everyone could try 3 different things and the portions were so small it looked like it was for 1-2 people max. ALL of the entrees were overcooked and super dry- Including shimp and scallops, salmon, chicken, lamb, etc... no one was happy with their food.
Each visit increases our appreciation for the Persian Room - we look forward to dining there again!
The server was very kind to explain the menu and how the initial pita plate is assembled and eaten. Good wine list and many options available for vegetarians. Enjoyed our meal. The restaurant was decorated nicely and felt upscale.
My friend and I enjoyed lunch. It was a Saturday so the special lunch menu was not available, we had to order from the dinner menu.
I had the beef shish kebab and my friend ordered the lamb shanks. Both dishes came with rice. We both loved our food. Well prepared and delicious.
Location of the restaurant is little off. However ambience is very good and food was delicious. Wine selection is good but on a pricey side. We had good time. And would go back.
An odd location (strip mall but only business open) but interesting food. Strange pita bread to top w raw onion and cilantro. Main course servings are huge. Persian ice cream was a treat.
Great tasting food with attentive service at very reasonable prices
Four of us loved our meals. We will definitely be back.
A great authentic Persian find in Tucson! Persian comfort food at its finest. The decor and ambiance of the restaurant is hard to beat. Well done!
Great atmosphere and a wonderful way to try a new cuisine.
This was a family reunion. We loved the food. So much variety and tastes. We ordered hors d’oeuvres. Kash O’Bademjan an eggplant dish with nuts, was really delicious. Also, the Appetizer Platter had a great variety of tasty dishes. The rack of lamb was really good. Recommend this highly. The mahi-mahi also excellent.
This restaurant is a welcome addition to the dining choices in the Tucson area.
Delicious and well presented family style meal options ... the Taste if Persia fed 4 of us with some leftover to take home.
I can only say positive things about our experience.
Not only is the food tasty, but the staff is professional, courteous, and efficient.
The presentation of and marvelous flavours in the food leave the palate fully satisfied- not to mention big portions.
The place has fantastic food. What else can I say. The service was spot on. The home made pita was warm and delicious. The servings are large, and great if you want leftovers for lunch to take to work.
Best at their Dinner time after 3pm. They have a wonderful selections for Dinner then their Lunch Menu
Great Service, good food and very nice bar. Our bartender and waitress, Chantel, was as good as you can have. She helped make our evening a great one. It was the six of us, first visit to the Persian Room but we definitely will be back. The ambience of the restaurant was amazing and beautifully decorated for Christmas.
Party of 6 handled just fine. There is a reason many cars are parked outside.
Enjoyed our first visit. Shared salmon kabob, plenty of food when accompanied by small Greek salad, which is also enough to share. Salmon excellent!! Service attentive. Will be back!
It would be a 5 if they had white table cloths
Excellent environment, food, and service. Authentic food and great presentation. Definitely a hidden gem in Tucson. We will go back and take friends.
I think it was an off night for The Persian Room, the food was cold, the service was OK and it was for a special occasion which went un-recognized, not even a happy birthday wish to my wife.
We've eaten here in the past with excellent service, hot food and an attentive staff which is why I think it may have been an off night. I'll give it another chance and hope it's not a repeat of our Saturday November 24 experience.
I come from a family that cooks many of the Persian dishes served at The Persian Room and the Persian dishes are very good here (maybe a little less butter in the rice would be nice), but it needs to be hot and the service needs to be attentive.
It was our visit to the Persian room, everything was great! We’ll certainly be back.
Great food, service and ambience. Wonderful addition to our neighborhood.
The wait staff and food were all excellent. They were very knowledgeable and the atmosphere was great.
