It is great to have a place with unique food and a lovely atmosphere. The food was of high quality with lots of options. Good wine list. The service seemed unreasonably slow based on the volume of patrons. Beautiful seating options and nice parking lot.

Absolutely wonderful food and nice ambiance. Food is attractively presented. I look for places that are quiet, and The Persian Room fits the bill. My companion enjoyed Sultani (1 skewer each of barg and Koobideh) with basmati rice. I had Zereshk polo with baked chicken and it was wonderful. The barberries and saffron made a great rice dish. The chicken was 2 full legs and well done - both cooked to fork tender and well flavored; they were very large, and the leftovers are enough for 2 more meals, maybe only 1 meal for a hearty appetite, but still plenty of food. The baklava was pretty different from the Greek dish, but still a wonderful desert. I look forward to going back!

My husband and I decided to try Persian Room for Valentines Day and it was fabulous! The food was incredible and we loved the atmosphere. We couldn’t believe the quantity and quality of food for the price. Service was a little slow, but I attribute it to V Day. We will definitely be back maybe even this weekend! For Chicken lovers, I would highly recommend the Chicken Kebab - tender, perfectly cooked, and well seasoned. This just may be our new favorite restaurant!

Very nice decor, service was excellent, rack of lamb was perfect and the beef tenderloin also. Rice side dishes with herbs and yogurt/cucumber app were plentiful. Good wine selection, great beer choices and good martinis. Their servings and portion size were generous. I look forward to taking friends, a very nice dining experience!

An interesting menu and well prepared food. The portions are huge and an entree could easily serve two. Service was ragged and very slow…perhaps a bad night but be wary.

The food was very tasty although could have been warmer. Just lukewarm when we received it but might have not been picked up in kitchen in a timely manner. Service was horrible. After food was dropped off at table, we were never offered refills on drinks, water, bread or anything! Never saw our server again. We had to catch another server to bring us take out boxes, then waited and waited for a check. Then waited and waited and waited for it to be picked up. Finally went to maitre de station to try and pay bill and finally they magically found our server. For "fine dining", their service needs a lot of work!!

New to Persian food, I thought it would be very Labanese in flavor, but indeed it was not. The menu is close to some other Middle Eastern food, but I feel that the Persian food had spectacular sauces and dips that we’re new to me and very delightful.

Brought out of town friends to experience a unique restaurant. We had dined there several times. The dinners seemed to be different. Bland. The grilled chicken was barely grilled and tepid The beef Koobida was old tasting. The rice was tasteless. Even the humus was different and not as good. However the service was terrific. I tried to have the left overs the next day and confirmed that they were not worth having I hope the meals return to the fresh exciting state they were in the past. Sorry to report this but I had to be honest.

First time at this restaurant. Ordered the combination Shish Kebab plate for two with lentil soup and hummus as appetizers. Food was very good and portions were generous. I particularly liked the chicken kabob marination and the koobideh kabob seasoning. My only negative comment is the food was not served hot. The lentil soup was lukewarm and the kabobs had been sitting a while before being served.

The wife and I were looking forward to trying some delicious Persian food. We made a reservation on line a week before and were excited about the place. After being seated the waiter advised us after 15 mins of not being addressed that they were understaffed and to please put in a drink order ASAP. We did so and then we ordered our food at the same time. We were brought some Naan bread with butter, mint leaves, onion, and cilantro. A little odd but we don't understand the culture so we were good with it. After 2 drinks each and an hour later our food FINALLY came out..... cold. We were pretty bummed... and for spending over $100 for dinner we were really disappointed in the lack of flavor, temp of the food. We wanted to enjoy the place especially after reading all the reviews... hopefully it was just an off night. But frankly, we're not going back.

Nelly and I were first time guests at Persian Room in Tucson. What a treat! They appeared to be exceptionally busy as we waited 4-5 minutes just to be greeted at the host lectern. Once we got seated, Patrick (our amazing waiter) apologized for being slammed but that he would be back ASAP to take our order. We wanted to taste everything so we ordered a sampler for an appetizer, as well as for our entree. The food was absolutely delicous, and Patrick made sure my tea cup was always hot and refilled, and even mixed Nelly's cranberry juice with water to make it just right. I wished we lived in Tucson because we would visit here often!

We’ve have passed this restaurant so many times not really knowing what kind of food it was. We recently heard it was Mediterranean so we thought we’d give it a try. We wish we had gone here years ago. The service was top notch, beautiful ambience and the food was so delicious. I had the lamb shish kabob and I’ve never had meat so tender, rice so flavorful and vegetables cooked just right. I highly recommend Persian Room.

We’ve been to the Persian Room three times and each visit has been great! The food is delicious and we’ll presented. The servers are friendly and happy to explain the various dishes and make recommendations. Portions are more than enough for each person, so be prepared to bring home leftovers!

We'll be back, but we had the shrimp and scallop dinner. Both were over-cooked and the scallops were greatly over-cooked to the point of being stringy and tough. Everything else was fine.

The kitchen was out of quite a number of entrees. Our server was friendly, but in the weeds and struggled to keep up. I love Persian food - overall I’d give the quality of food a 3 out of 5’stars. Probably would not go back to Persian Room.
