Perry's Steakhouse & Grille - Uptown Dallas Ratings and Reviews
Have been several times and the food is ALWAYS delish! That dayum pork chop and asparagus is slap yo mama worthy! My server on the other hand was weird!!! Not certain if he was new but didn’t seem confident or knowledgeable. He lessened the experience but other than than the awkward guy the food is worth it. Thumbs up for the restaurant.
Everything was amazing! This was our first time dining here and our server Jordan gave me and my boyfriend great recommendations from the pork chop to the chocolate crunch. Perrys is a steakhouse but you must definitively try the pork chop! We will come back for sure!
Have been there a number of times for business always bringing a larger group (this time 9 people total). While the food was good, it took forever and the service was very slow. Our waiter really did everything, they had no other help (nobody to bus, help w/ anything). Seemed they didn't have it together at all. I was trying to impress a group and it ended up being a long, boring night out. Also couldn't get drink replacements to save our lives. Argh...$1,000 mistake.
Frequent Dallas for business a couple times a year. Have eaten in a lot of Steak Houses/restaurants. Can't believe it was my first time dining at Perry's. I booked through Open Table and clicked that it was a business dinner with 11 guests. Desiree contacted me and mentioned the only table that seats that many guests is near the door and can be somewhat loud. She suggested that I take the private room that seats 12. Of course there was a minimum but honestly seemed pretty reasonable. Great suggestion and truly appreciated that Desiree called and recommended the room. Also, the room is round with a big round table. Which makes for a very nice set up. Took this same group to another restaurant on our last trip and they sat us next to the bar with live music...not good. Definitely needed this dinner to be a success and it was. Service was outstanding! Food is great! Some people at our table had the Pork Chop...looked amazing. However, very big portion....recommend sharing with someone if you plan to get appetizers, salad, and dessert. Highly recommend Perry's.
Every thing was excellent from valet, reservation, great intimate table for 2. Our waiter Jose was great & very helpful with menu selection & special drink requests. My Pork Chop was my favorite , better than all the other restaurants I’ve been to. My date loved her steak -salad - mushrooms- au gratin potatoes! We stayed 3 hours & last to leave, we will definitely be back. Thanks, Brodie Lewis
My wife and I first experience for our 19th anniversary. I was beyond our expectations!! Complimentary dessert was unexpected and very tasty! We were so impressed we will definitely be back. Our server was great and evened showed my wife how to cut the famous Perry Pork Chop with our making her feel bad. Awesome place thanks so much
I've dined there several times before therefore it made the list for this visit. Everything was in order in regard to the reservation being made on line and the special requests. Price is a little high but certainly in line with the competition. I will say the cocktails are skimpy, I mentioned that to our waiter and the second round came in a larger glass with more ice but regrettably another disappointing measure. I will remember that next time and probably go elsewhere for a while but definitely be back at some point.
Really. ... the seafood is questionable A real stretch for you and with seafood desires. The fish, oysters, it's all mediocre. To me this was more but I'll Beyonce anything. If you're going to really good food and great chef preparations I would do Trulucks in a heartbeat
Everyone we encountered in the restaurant was courteous, engaging, and professional. Valet was quick and efficient. We were seated immediately after arriving for our reservation. Service was great—the right amount of attention without being overbearing. Food was delicious—The pork chop is a must-have, especially for first-time diners. Very cool tableside presentation of the dessert we ordered as well. Can’t wait to return!
From the coat check, to the bar with Evelyn as our server, to the maitre d who put rose petals on our table to our server, Pedro, it was a special night. They were all quite attentive without bring intrusive. The food, especially the crab cakes and the white chocolate cheesecake, was absolutely scrumptious. I cannot forget the service of the valet who made certain I did not get wet while entering my car on a cold rainy night.
My wife and I went for our 20th anniversary. First time here. We went because of the great reviews. After the meal I have to say I don't get it. My ribeye was gristly all the way through. Could not chew through it. Had to cut into bites small enough to swallow. There wasn't much flavor in the steak either. Maybe some salt? Wife's NY strip steak wasn't gristly but had a burnt crust. Had to cut that off. Mind you these are $50 each.
