Perry's Steakhouse & Grille - Uptown Dallas Ratings and Reviews
The food was impeccable. We were celebrating an anniversary and the restaurant put rose petals on the table and gave us the best seat in the house next to the wine cellar. They were a little slow getting us our first round of drinks but that's the only complaint I have. Would revisit!
Our server JR did not meet expectations. He was curt, unfriendly, inattentive, condescending & borderline rude.
The food was ok. My bacon-wrapped filet was lukewarm & the bacon was limp.
Our table for 6 was right in front of the stairs & the direct traffic flow. They shouldn’t squeeze a table in that tight, busy & noisey space.
Overall, we did not have a positive experience & double I’ll ever return.
After-theatre drinks and early dinner at a wonderful venue. Aaron was our bartender and ultimately our server for dinner in the bar.
At that early hour the restaurant was understandably empty. We ordered appetizers and 35 minutes later they arrived at last, bacon wrapped scallops overcooked and cold. Crab cakes were good but we complained about the incredibly long wait.
Assistant manager Greg came in, discussed things and made it right. He promised to discuss the problem with the kitchen staff. We appreciate both Aaron and Greg for professional service. We love the Frisco Perry’s (better crab cakes!!) but we will be back to the Uptown location.
I chose Perry's because of the great time that I had when my co-workers brought me here for my birthday. Some friends and I also had a Bridal Shower at Perry's as well. So I decided to bring my boyfriend here to celebrate him. The pork chops were delicious as usual.
First of all I’d like to thank the managers on duty Saturday night. They offered us the choice of free drinks or an appetizer as good will for waiting over 20 minutes past our reservation time. They were apologetic but It was clear when we entered the restaurant that there was a capacity issue. The waiting area was over flowing with dinners waiting to be seated. After waiting 15 minutes, I asked the couple standing next to us what time their reservation was booked for that evening and was informed 45 minutes earlier. I was not willing to wait that long and preceded to request our car from the valet. Luckily our table became available just as our car arrived. We chose to stay and enjoy our meal but the long wait and crowed restaurant did put a damper on the evening.
At some point, management became aware that people with reservations were not being seated timely. There should be a process in place to notify dinners when reservations are running more than 15 minutes late, an email or text possibly. There is a process to cancel reservations when dinners don’t timely check into the hostess desk. There should be a time limit to how long restaurants are given to seat dinners after a reservation time has passed. Dinners should have the option of leaving the restaurant without being penalized by OpenTable.
One person's steak had to be sent back twice for proper cook level. The surf and turf was a nice steak, but only about an ounce of seafood. Very slow on drink orders and some confusion among the wait staff. Otherwise, the rest of the food was very good and the ambiance very nice.
Perry’s Steakhouse is one of the best restaurants in the DFW area. They have great food and amazing service. This was my second time dining at Perry’s and each time I just had to have the 32oz Pork Chop. Hands down this is the best pork chop I have ever eaten. It’s super tender and so full of favor. The food is a bit on the expensive side but somethings are worth the price. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves fine dining and enjoys a full plate of food.
