View Private Dining DetailsI love everything about the place. It's close to home, food is great, ambiance, the desserts, and I love to be waited on and knowing they care about my enjoying myself. I love the touch of rose petals on the table.
Been going to Perry’s for many years ,first time dinning at Sugar Land location and I was very disappointed in the service slow and the waiter must have been allergic to our table. I do enjoy good service and tip well for the hard work that waiters and waitresses do go thru to serve paying customers well. Food was great like always ! Go to the Katy location always great service there.
Kingfish
After we were seated, nobody came to our table for nearly 15 minutes. We ordered appetizers and wine, which came about 15 minutes later. Then we ordered the entree, which, after nearly 30 minutes, still had not arrived. We needed to be at a show nearby, which we told the waiter about at the time we ordered. When it got to be at the point where we needed to leave, we asked for the entree in a to-go box, and for the check. Another 10 to 15 minutes went by and nobody came. We finally got a manager who gave us the check, minus the entree. Not sure if the problem was in the kitchen...we kept getting told that our food was coming, as if it was not ready yet. If there is a time problem like this, they should have warned us that they might not be able to meet our time constraints.
Otherwise, the food we did have was good (carpaccio and fried asparagus) and the wine list was pretty decent, too.
Our waitress was absolutely horrible and the manager responsible for our section wasn’t much better. Our first bad experience with a Perrys so we will keep dining there unless this becomes standard. For the price of their food, I expect great service and descent wait times for food. We were there for an hour and a half and still hadn’t received our main course. Had to leave due to engagement. No dinner before our night out. Very poor.
This was our first time to Perry's after hearing about it from multiple sources, and we were overly impressed with the food, the service/hospitality, and the ambiance. This made for a perfect date night, and all of our waiter's suggestions were spot on (beverages, appetizer, dinner, and dessert). We will definitely be returning to this and other locations as we came away more than impressed.
Celebrated our Anniversary at Perry’s-Sugarland. Meal, service, dining area were all very nice. Food was outstanding. The Perry’s Pork Chop was amazing. Perry’s help make this a special evening for us. Highly recommend.
Consistently receive great food and service at Perry's!!!
The food (can’t go wrong with the pork chop) and the service (from the hostess staff to the waiter) was excellent.
Excellent food and service!
Great service.
Everything about are evening was spectacular starting with the rose petals on the table for our anniversary. The waiter was outstanding and the food was phenomenal as always. We have never been disappointed at Perry’s!
Perry's is my go to spot for a quality steak. Unfortunately, not this time. My wife's Ribeye was barely about 1 inch thick. When we cut into it, everything looked great. However, it was not tender like it should be. My wife had to spit out two bites because it was so chewy and barely finished half the steak. The bone marrow had enough marrow to spread on maybe a 1/4 of a piece of bread. The waitress did bring another one when we told her about this. Lamb was pretty good. All in all, definitely not worth the $200 I left there.
The food and service were excellent as always. The pork chops are Perry's are amazing!
Delightful menu and service. Servers are attentive without being overbearing. Great spot for a business or casual lunch.
Im usually a fan of Perry's in general. This was our first visit too this location. The wine was consistent and drinks good. The service was also well done. However its supposed to be a steakhouse and this might have been one of the worst steaks I have had in a long time. It was cooked correctly but the NY Strip was very thin and the meat was very tough like one of those cheap frozen steaks you get mail order. We will continue to go to Perry's in general but not if your after a good steak.
Dickie was a superb server and made the experience of delicious food unforgettable.
Great food and service, as always.
Best place to get a great meal... Not writing fifty characters...
The food, service, and restaurant were amazing. The only reason I did not give five stars is because I ordered a bone-in steak medium well. I prefer a little pink inside. Majority of the steak fit that description but a part of it was extremely rare with a pocket of deep red blood and I couldn't eat anymore -- although I wanted to finish that steak.
I had the Surf and Turf Easter special. Bacon wrapped filet and I chose lobster but there wasn't much of the surf. I also had the warm spinach and bacon salad which was very good.
Steaks were cooked to perfection. Dining room was a little loud and our waiter spoke softly. Truffle steak fries were also delicious. Overall a very good experience.
We were celebrating 2 birthdays. Everything was great.
Excellent experience
It was our anniversary and they made it very special.
Uhhhmazing “Moroccan” Salmon. Will be attempting to make this at home!
The pork chop special still reigns SUPREME!! I can't eat pork chops anywhere else.
I tried the brussel sprouts and they were extraordinary.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our 60th Anniversary Date, and really appreciate our daughter and son-in-law for helping us to celebrate our anniversary.
My wife and I had a wonderful time. Look forward to the next visit.
Great atmosphere, awesome steaks and super attentive and friendly staff.
Had a great time talking with friends. Food was good too. Noticed the attitude change of our waiter when my sister mentioned something about the portion of food and thought it was strange
The food was delicious! A little pricey but the quality was there so can’t exactly complain. Loved how quiet it was.
My husband was working in the town of Sugarland, TX. I flew in for a few days to spend quality time with him. We enjoyed our evening at Perry's. The entire evening from start to finish was remarkable. Our seating was perfect for a quiet evening. The staff was amazing and helpful. The food was awesome. We didn't feel rushed, we were able to relax and enjoy a wonderful evening.
Perry's never fails to impress. We had a wonderful evening with great food and even better service. The piano player was fabulous.
Food was just okay. Way over priced for quality. Definitely better restaurants for steak.
We celebrated our anniversary at Perrys in Sugarland...live music at the bar (piano) as we showed a few minutes early for our reservation, long enough to enjoy a drink and each other.
We were both set on steak until seeing and remembering how delicious the pork chop was...split the pork chop and as always AMAZING!!! Ordered the crab cakes as an app and the wedge salad. Salad was basic. Crab cakes aren't all that, they are fried and sort of reminded me of eating the square fish at Luby's, lol. We also split a full order of the asparagus (not fried) topped with the lump crab meat which was way better than the crab cake. Complementary dessert trio, very tiny but free so I cant complain too much...it had some rock hard chocolate piece with stuff on top, creme brulee is usually my go to but not here, and praline cheesecake was eh ok.
All-in-all we enjoyed ourselves and the food, you cant ever go wrong with the pork chop...so much flavor...so damn good! If we had to do it over again we would have enjoyed eating in the bar area where the music was...much better vibe/atmosphere.
Nice place. Good food. overall a nice experience in Sugar land
Food was very good and the portions are generous. Service and ambiance were good as well. It is always a treat for us to visit this restaurant.
The sea bass has always been my favorite at Perry’s. I understood that they had changed the menu recently and the way it was prepared but was still willing to try it. My customer did as well. Neither one of us cared for it at all. The corn was good but the seared crust was gone and it had a green tint. I only had a few bites of mine. I honestly did not like it at all.
Please bring the old version back!
I have visited Perrys at the memorial location and I felt that their service was just better overall. The food was good though.
In the bar area. Awesome piano bar. Louder than in the formal dining area but ok with us.
