Had a wonderful time! Thanks Elizabeth and Perry's for making my girlfriends birthday so memorable!
The food and service were excellent! the waiter was efficient and interacted well with us. we celebrated out 53rd wedding anniversary and things could not have gone any better. Thanks
Our server was fantastic and very helpful. The restaurant was very nice and the food was adequate.
This was my 1st time to eat at Perry stake house , we had made reservations but it seemed like if we had not made reservations that we would have waited around 45min to an hour anyways to get seated. I feel like if a reservations is made it should be honored at least 15-20 min wait I understand not a 45min to an hour wait . The food was great and the staff was nice and friendly.
The service was awful. I came with a large party of 9 which shouldn't be an excuse. It took 40 minutes to receive our bar drinks. We did not get bread until we asked for it with our salad. We had to continually ask for more tea and water. The food tasted good so I can overlook all the previous complaints. However, 4 out of 9 of us became ill that night and for the next 24+ hours. I'm still not 100%. I will never go to a Perry's again.
Asked for snapper to be cooked medium but was cooked to hard.
Have never had a bad meal at Perry's. We ordered from the Houston Restaurants Weeks menu. Quite a bargain for $45 and for a good cause. Of course we ordered sides and a bottle of the Perry's special reserve cab so the bill was high but well worth it. Wife had the filet and I had the incredible pork chop. I had enough left over for another meal. The waitress was outstanding. Their staff is always on top of things. We can't afford to go there on a regular basis but always enjoy it for special occasions.
Went to Perry’s with 3 other couples for Houston Restaurant Week menu. Had reservations for 6pm. Orders were mixed up on every course. Bread came after salads and our entrees didn’t arrive until 8. Ordered mushrooms as a side which we didn’t get. My husband had to order his drink twice before he got it. He also asked for iced tea which he never got. Saw other tables arrive after us, finish an entire 3 course meal, pay and leave before our entrees were served. We were Perry’s fans but have decided next time we will choose Fleming’s or Del Frisco’s. So disappointed.
Pork chop on Friday is the perfect deal! Delicious...
At Friday Perry's it's always great to get the Pork Chops! Tender and juicy and always try to finish it off but have to pack it to go for dinner! Our server Hans is always attentive and great to converse with and he's very pleasant !
This was my first time dining at Perry's for lunch. Previously, I had been there for dinner. The lunch was fabulous, the food was excellent and the service was outstanding. However, I did have one complaint. When the reservation was made online on Open Table, I specified in the optional notes that we were celebrating a 20th anniversary and belated birthday celebrations for the wedded couple. There was no recognition of this made during our lunch. I am not sure why I made the special request when I made the reservation. It was obviously not read by the parties to be at the restaurant when we arrived nor during our dining experience. It would have made the dining experience complete if this request had been acknowledged.
Great service as aLeah’s and also as always - AMAZING food
Fantastic as usual!!!! Go to place for a great lunch!
Our waitress was amazing! So attentive and very kind. The food was delicious - we got the pork chops, brusssel sprouts, and the mont blanc dessert. So, so good!
All of the food was delicious with the exception of the restaurant week grilled chicken Oscar. The chicken wasn't grilled so much as burnt--black, unchewable pieces, very bitter and so dry the outer layer of the skinless breast peeled off. When I told the waiter he said nothing and walked away. I would still recommend Perry's for the other entrees however.
Birthday and nothing said or acknowledged during entire dinner!
We had wonderful meals and enjoyed our evening, while partaking in Houston Restaurant Week.
This a great place for special occasions. We went there to celebrate my wife's 60th and she was not disappointed. The food and service were excellent if not a bit pricy. This is definitely a place to come for special occasions.
We haven't been in a while, but everything was amazing. Attentive waitstaff, food cooked perfectly and a nice night overall.
Great food, staff was attentive and friendly. Enjoyed lunch and I make a special effort to ensure my trips to Houston are scheduled to arrive on Friday to have lunch at Perry’s. Thanks for being a great restaurant!
Service & food outstanding! Waiters are polite and can explain any item on the menu. Professional atmosphere.
Great service, Food was good. Great value during Friday's lunchtime.
I've eaten at Perry's a handful of times and I was in disbelief that the service was horrible this time around. We had a reservation at 630 and were seated at our table promptly and waited at least 15-20 mins before we got up and left. Not one single server came to greet or wait on us. I was going to give them a little more time but when I saw a table that was seated right behind us and AFTER us, was waited on right away, that's when we decided to leave. I don't know if it's because we were Asian and the surrounding tables were all Caucasian but that's still not right. There was a manager standing in the area and we told him what happened and that we were disappointed and he apologized, but we didn't want to spend the rest of the evening in that kind of environment.
We had a poor dining experience this time. Little bugs flew around the entire meal. The big gaps in service were not acceptable. The fried asparagus appetizer was good. The dining room was extremely dark. The small fillet was good but the presentation was poor. Chicken parmesan was a big soggy mistake. Caesar salad had too much dressing on it.
Very awesome food. Tried some new appetizers and was very satisfied. Of course the pork chop is a mist have.
The music is too loud in the dining area. Filet came out too rare but was fixed quickly. Excellent service, but very hard to hear.
Our most recent experience at Perry's was somewhat lackluster, and we usually have a great time when dining here. We were early for our reservation, but we seated immediately. Hostess staff was very accommodating. The waiter was polite, but seemed very rushed - he wanted our cocktail and appetizer order before we even had water on the table. When we did order cocktails, they seemed to take a while to arrive - again, the waiter asked for our appetizer order again, before the drinks arrived. The appetizers were ok - not outstanding. I suspect one of my six oysters was bad, so I did not eat it. Carpaccio was under-seasoned and needed more parmesan (usually one of our favorites). As for the entrees, my filet was great, but husband's bison steak was tough and not very flavorful - and it was the off the menu special. We were VERY excited to order the Alaska Crab Mac N Cheese side - but had to send it back. It was so overly fishy - the taste and smell was overpowering - and I eat crab all of the time. This crab was way past its prime. They removed it from our bill without question, but it was disappointing nevertheless. My biggest admission was the sticker shock of the bill - granted, we ordered some 'specials', and we had a VERY nice bottle of wine, but a casual dinner for 3 on a Friday night was close to $700. Even if you removed all of the alcohol, we still rounded out at $400. My point it, for the price, all of the food should have been top notch with stellar service. So for the value of the experience, it just did not seem worth it.
We had a wonderful time. Our waiter Bob was fabulous.
Nice food and service prix fixe promo. Calamari app delicious as well as peanut butter mousse and caramel cheesecake dessert. Gave us rose petals and complimentary dessert for our anniversary.
We had a special dinner with family. We ordered off the $44 four course menu which was fantastic value. All of the food was great and excellent service.
Perry's service - impeccable. The food taste is outstanding. Will, the manager, was exceptional as always and kept us entertained while creating our stunning dessert, the Baked Alaska. Treat yourself and enjoy this amazing establishment!
We celebrated our 5th anniversary at the Sugarland location. Everyone (valet/greeters/bartenders/servers) provided excellent customer service! This was our first experience dining here and it was wonderful. We will be back!
Staff was great, as usual! It made for a most memorable birthday celebration! Thanks!
It was great opportunity to enjoy Texas food in Texas. Thanks
Great food, wine and set ice!
Everything was great, only took a long time for us to get our check processed. But Perry's is always great.
Service could be better and it is way too dark at the tables. The dining area is low lit which is nice but there should be some additional lighting at each table. Needed cell phone light to read menu.
We pick Perry’s to celebrate all our special occasions.
