Service is amazing. Will definitely be back.
The Friday pork chop lunch is the best.
Just as expected... great food...great service
We enjoyed the experience and the ease of making reservations through Open Table.
Be wary about making a reservation here as they do not honor the time very well on busy nights. Made a 715 reservation and the table was not ready until 8 o’clock. Had us waiting in the bar area and kept telling us 10 more minutes three different times. Did not have the time to wait for the table but fortunately one came available in the bar area. Unfortunately the wait staff was very confused and understaffed in the bar area and we had one waitress trying to give us menus after we had placed our order and no real dedicated server. Ordered a steak medium and it came out raw in the center. Just a disappointing experience from start to finish.
They always do a great job. You can never go wrong with a Friday pork chop!
This was my 1st visit but I have been wanting to try them for quite a while. Service was prompt and attentive, food temperature was hot, desserts were made right at the table (bananas foster). Steak was excellent, tender, and flavorful. I highly recommend and look forward to dining there again.
It was our daughters 18th birthday. The staff was super friendly and made our evening super special. The food was fabulous as always!
My husband and I ordered the Sunday special pork chop and we were disappointed as it wasn’t as good as before. We were there to celebrate my husband’s birthday and looking forward to the meal.
As always Perry's in Sugar Land has great service and absolutely wonderful steaks as well as other diverse dishes. We recommend it highly.
They prepared the table with rose petals for our anniversary. The server was helpful and personable. Delicious food.
Friday lunch was very busy. Positives included service and quick starting. Largest negative was food delivery time which impacted food temperature.
Our server, Crystal, was attentive and charming! The food was phenomenal.
My wife and I were celebrating her 77th birthday. Our dining experience was ruined by a Perry employee gossiping with a couple dining in the next booth, for most of our meal. She had a piercing voice and laughter, and just wouldn't shut up except for the time she took to pull a wine bottle out of another customer's locker. We thought she gone from our area and serving other customers. But to our dismay, she returned to the booth next to ours and continued her "BS" session with the other couple.
Our waitress and food servers performed well, but not good enough four us to write off Perry's on our
special occasion dining list.
Absolutely love this place! I was lucky enough, this year, to celebrate both Christmas Eve AND New Year’s Eve at this fabulous restaurant!!! The food was delicious, the ambiance unbeatable, the cocktails were perfect, and after dinner in the dining room, we rang in the New Year in Perry’s bar with complimentary champagne. Could not have asked for better!
I love Perry’s. It has a great ambiance, generally very good wait staff, and the food tastes great. Their general dinner menu is a little overpriced, but doable. Their New Year’s Eve menu was ridiculously overpriced; a small cup of soup, the pork chop, and a small dessert was $80! On their normal dinner menu, that same thing would have been $50. So way overpriced. While we will go back to Perry’s on a regular night, I think we will look elsewhere next New Year’s Eve.
Very disappointing! Perry's is usually our go-to place for special occasions, but the New Year's Eve experience was a major failure. The table we were seated at was clearly temporary and looked to be a former storage closet next to the back door. The food was clearly mass produced and rivaled something you would get at a high school banquet. Perry's is usually one of my favorite filet's, but this was something completely different than anything they have ever served. To add insult to injury, the bill came and I was charged $80 for a decent salad, a really bad steak and a tiny desert - all part of the NYE package. Clearly, the NYE event was an attempt to maximize profits and neglect the quality of the food.
New Year’s Eve dinner. Got a corner table for 2. Host was really pleasant. Server was spot on with recommended items. Was one of the best date night/ New Year’s Eve in a while.
Food was not bad but wasn’t worth the money
The food was excellent. The only issue when we arrived the valet parking was very backed up. But service, food, drink were all outstanding.
We had a great time! The food was excellent as well as the service.
Food was amazing. Beside a good waiter, we felt very well taken care of as even the manager checked on our table to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. Great Evening, thanks to Perry's Steakhouse and the great staff.
Great experience.. went for business and special occasion.
Had a great time
Good lunch pork chop with dessertz
Perry's is my favorite restaurants in Sugar Land and among my favorites in Houston overall. Their steaks are always cooked to perfection. They have some unique and delicious appetizers, such as the fried asparagus topped with crabmeat - YUM! The bar has a great atmosphere for a more casual dining experience. We often sit in the bar and have dinner with just drinks and appetizers. They have some very unique and delicious cocktails, as well as an extensive wine collection. I cannot say enough good things about Perry's Steakhouse.
As a group of close friends we have been dining at Perry’s on Christmas Eve for the past 4-5 years! Last night was absolutely the worst dining experience ever! As a party of 8 we were squeezed into a table clearly meant for 6. Our waiter was shocked as well and very apologetic! I spoke to a manager that basically said it was Christmas Eve and could not accommodate moving us. As we had appetizers we were sitting on menu’s or had them propped next to chairs on the floor! We had separate checks, but I am sure we were at $1000 with cocktails and wine! My check for two was $180. If I am paying this amount for a meal I expect exceptional service and comfort! The only good experience was our waiter who clearly was embarrassed and kept apologizing for Perry’s. He said we should never have been seated at that table! I am sure this will be our last time ever dining with Perry’s!
I will say the complimentary appetizer was a surprise but in no way made up for this horrendous evening.
Can’t say enough for a first time visit to your restaurant. Service, food, everything was phenomenal
We celebrated our business Christmas dinner. The food was awesome, everyone enjoyed what they ordered. We have been to Perry's before, but will definitely be back!
Thank you Perry's,
The steak was a little too salty but cooked correctly. The waitress seemed a little slow to respond.
Outstanding customer experience. First class from the moment we arrived.
Food was good, BUT we had reservations for 2pm showed up early and still didn’t sit down at a table until 3:15. Horrible seating staff and no help from management. Last time I take my employees to a luncheon at this establishment.
We reserved to have our holiday party at Perry’s again this year despite some problems last year. They were able to seat us on time although initially they said they will be 30-45 minutes late. I had to point out that we have a reservation for 1:45 and what’s the point of making a reservation if you still seat us 45 minutes after, unacceptable; if we were 15 minutes late you would have cancelled the table in us, right? Anyways, it’s utter chaos, from the valet parking that had absolutely no order to the service that was very slow. The drinks arrived 30-40 minutes from the moment you order. Food was more than one hour late and the only bright spot honestly was the taste of the food and our server, Rob. He was trying but the food arrived very late. I understand they are busy but shouldn’t you be able to handle it, if you are a serious establishment. It took more than 2 hours to finish our meal. The valet parking guys took 25 minutes to retrieve our car from the parking accord the street and all they can answer is they are busy, not really trying too much. We arrived at 1:30 at this place and got out 4:30, whole ordeal just to get some food and a drink. Last year we had our holiday party here and this year we decided to give them another chance because of the food but never again with a big party. The three stars are only because of the server and the taste of the food but everything else was underperforming.
Reservation was not honored. They seated people walking in off the street before me and other parties with reservations. They should not accept a reservation they will not honor. They should have a table available for those they have given a reservation. After waiting forty minutes, we got our vehicle back, paid for valet, and left. This location has young children running the front of house, who appear to have little understanding about anything.
Even with a reservation be prepared to wait a minimum of 30 minutes. The hostess are not welcoming and do not present well for the restaurant. The food was delicious as was the experience.
Service is fantastic here.
Food was good. Waitress tried very hard but the kitchen was clearly overwhelmed. We waited an hour between appetizer course and main course. Not a great experience.
Busy, busy. Still a very enjoyable time. Michael took great care of us.
All the food at this restaurant is always excellent
Bread, appetizers, entrees, sides and desserts; top quality food. Reservations are always easy to make and staff is extremely polite and well trained to take care of guests. Whenever we have problems, they have always taken care of them to our satisfaction. We always have enjoyed going to eat at Perry’s, specially on Fridays. Their specials are well worth it, I have never been disappointed.
Highly recommend this outstanding restaurant!
Perry’s is the perfect neighborhood gem. My girlfriends and I (The Wanderlusts) tour the CASA Homes Christmas displays in style (limousine) every year and we always stop for lunch. This is our second time visiting Perry’s. Your location, ambiance/atmosphere and food are just what we, picky travelers, love!
