The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was nice but I didn’t feel like I was singled out because I was not as old as the rest of the crowds. Our waiter immediately took away my wine glass and left before I could order one and The Overall service was rather disappointing.

Wonderful service got the Friday pork chops special only drawback was the fact that the potatoes were barely warm and not hot but I wasn’t going to send everything back for potatoes, The creamed spinach wasn’t as I remembered it from a few years ago… Next time I will pay the upgrade to get a side salad instead

Restaurant was overbooked due to a party, which you'd think they could plan for, so we were seated in a back room near the bar and waitstaff work area with other customers. Grill was also behind because of it. Server did a great job of handling the situation. If that ever happens again we'll just get up and leave.

The service was exceptional with a great ambiance except for pictures though. The lighting was not the best. The food was good but could definitely be tastier for the price. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

Had a great meal and terrific service two weeks ago but the experience last night was disheartening. We had a 7pm reservation and arrived about 6:50 only to get in line for valet where it took 15 minutes to get to the front. It appeared someone had texted to get their car then took quite a while to pick it up. Seems like valet should have moved it out of the way after realizing that couple made a mistake on their timing. We ordered a steak and lobster side. Our waitress, Drew, kept updating us that our food would be out in a minute but when it finally arrived the lobster was completely cold and the steak was barely warm. Jason, a manager, did come by and get us another steak and lobster but by then you’ve eaten your side dish while it was warm and then you eat the steak by itself. To top it off it took far too long for Drew to check on us and when I did catch her I just gave her my card and let us pay and get out of here. She made a mistake on the bill and overcharged us by $58. She had to correct that and now I need to check my card to make sure the original bill was credited. She brought us a trio of small desserts without me complaining, other than the temp of the food. Not sure if that was to salvage her tip or truly sorry. We’ve had a lot of good meals at Perry’s. Hope they got all of their mistakes out of the way on this one night. Be a while before they pop into my head when we are thinking of going out for a good meal.

I’ve never posted a complaint about any restaurant before tonight. I made reservations weeks ago for our family celebration with our children (one of whom is still very young) for my husband’s birthday. I should’ve known better because every time we’ve gone, even WITH a reservation, we’ve had to wait for a long time for our table. I made reservations 6 weeks ago for 6:30. At 6:50, as I watched a large party whose reservation was for 6:45, be seated, I got upset with the hostess. Magically, she had a table for us after I got upset. I don’t know what the problem is at that restaurant, but a reservation should mean that a table is ready within a reasonable amount of time (10 minutes or so) of the reservation. For the amount of money it costs to eat at Perry’s, something as simple as a reservation should be handled correctly.

The service was excellent, but the food (filet, ribeye, pork chop bites) was just ok, certainly not worth the price. You get a higher quality steak for the same price at III Forks or Masraffs. The cocktails were also good, but overpriced.

My experience was really good. The ambiance and the wait staff were amazing. The food was good but there are other steakhouses that are far better. All in all I had a great experience with good food and great drinks. I’ll definitely be back.

As I do understand the that it was Valentines Day, this placed seem to have been way under-staffed. My guest and I made it a point to show up early and check in because we were conscious of the holiday traffic. Made a reservation because I knew it was a holiday, but instead had to wait an hour and a half just to be seated. The hostess after checking in again trying to see how much longer says, “oh yea you have a bar seat reservation,” and i stated “well didn’t you see that when he checked in?” I’m mean there were people there who had reservation for 830pm/900pm that was still waiting after 1030pm. Some people was so upset that they just decided to leave. This was my 1st time here and definitely not the experience i was waiting for. I didn’t even get to enjoy my food because i was so tired. I didn’t get to eat until after 1100. I witness the manager tell a guest that they were going to waive the $25 cancellation fee because of the long waits and him tell the hostess to cancel her reservation and she charged the lady anyway. Wish i could be around when she calls and complains that she still got charged!

overall it was a good experience. problems being they overbooked and gave earlier guest 2 hour windows and it completely backed up their services on one of the more busy days of the year. customers were waiting up to 2 hrs for tables. admittingly the management worked to clear tables and booths in the bar area to help speed up wait times, which was fine but thats also the bar where people will be kinda noisy. the waitresses and service was great, but also doing the holiday they have a condensed menu. we didnt get the full amazing experience of the perrys and the ambiance its known for. the food was amazing as well. in the future maybe it was the location but i will be returning to perrys but probly not on a holiday occasion.

Valentine's Dinner at Perry's Steakhouse SugarLand was a special occasion for us. Not only were the dishes served amazing - our server Ben went above and beyond to make the evening special for us. He was prompt and attentive to our table, friendly and very professional - perhaps in the top 2% of waiters we have ever had at a fine dining establishment.

Had a 8:45 reservation and waited over an hour still. We didn’t get asked if we wanted anything to drink they just gave us water. We couldn’t add or substitute to our meal and only had a very limited menu choice. We Did not have a choice for how our meat was cooked. They said it’s all cooked the same. Waitress was rude. You go knowing it’s expensive but for our bill to be $805 you would think our over all experience would be worth it. Food was not al great on top of a terrible experience. 10/10 will definitely go to Salt grass next time instead

Never go there on a popular occasion. Valentine's Day dinner was a complete disaster. 1:45 minute wait after our reservation time. No place to sit, so standing. No beverage or appetizer service was permitted until you were seated at your reserved table, according to the waitress, who was sympathetic, but said that her manager told her that. She did offer to bring us some bread and water, which was the best that she could do.
After waiting an hour in those conditions, I approached the hostess stand and tried to cancel our reservation and go somewhere else. She said that if I left my credit card would be be charged as a no show. When finally seated in the very noisy dining room, our main course was brought out before our soup and salad. When I complained to the waitress, she took my medium rare ribeye back to the kitchen while I tried to enjoy the lobster bisque, which needed sherry. She then brought back the same ribeye, which was no longer medium rare, but overcooked and tasteless. Waitress never returned to check on us until she brought out the desserts. Finally got out of there after four hours, two plus of which was waiting, ending a very disappointing, disgusting and expensive evening. Not the pleasant, romantic event that we had expected. The management should be held accountable for deliberately overbooking, chasing the nonrefundable dollar at their customers' expense.

Our reservation was for 8:00 PM. We were not seated until 10:00 PM and did not get our food until 11:00 PM. Horrible experience, especially for an establishment like Perry’s. Staff really didn’t care that we waited so long, got a lot of half-hearted “Sorry’s”

I would definitely recommend Perry’s, but not on Valentine’s Day. We booked a reservation through Open Table for 7:15pm. We were not seated until 8:02pm. The overbooked by a huge margin and everyone showed up. This through off the rest of our night. The food and table service were exceptional.

Perry’s is outstanding once you arrive at your table. We arrived at 7pm to check in for our 7:15 reservation. We were finally seated past 7:45. This obvious overbooking seriously dampens the overall experience. 45 minutes standing in the packed waiting area with dozens of other unhappy people is not a pleasant one. This is our second trip to Perry’s and the second trip was identical to the first so this is obviously planned chaos. For the price, the entire experience should be one to remember. The service and the meal were both excellent.

First off, I expect a short wait on a special occasion like Valentine's Day. However, this place was GROSSLY OVERBOOKED. I had a 715pm reservation. I arrived at 706pm after waiting in the valet line for 10 minutes. We were seated closer to 8pm, but ordered as soon as we were seated. After all, we had plenty of time to review that nights selections. The salads took forever to come out. I had 930pm show tickets; however, by 930pm we were still waiting on our steaks. So I lost money on that. The food was delicious once they got my steak prepared correctly. I had to send back twice and by the 3rd time they didn't even add the crab meat on my steak. By that point I was disappointed with the whole evening. Not sure what's going on with Perry's, but I did not expect this from them. VERY DISAPPOINTING VALENTINE'S DAY OUTING!
