My first experience with Perrys was HORRIBLE !!! But I’m so glad I gave them another chance. My recent visit was perfect. The service and food.
Food was pretty bland.. my first experience here was great but this current experience food was terrible service was great I expected better they lost a customer today.
The food did not blow us away for the prices. The restaurant was very busy and we waited a long while for the food to come, our steak was undercooked and the sides were bland at best.
I usually love this restaurant, but tonight the service was slow. It was a busy night to eat at Perry's since it was Father's Day, but it was unusually slow. The waiter never removed several dirty glasses and items from our table. The food was good, but the service was poor.
First and likely only visit. Terrible service. Slow server but also seemed to either be unaware or unconcerned that our salads and apps came before our first round of drinks. We got the wrong side dish and entree when we finally did get our food. My husband ordered prime rib and was served a ribeye. After much back and forth about what cut of meat was on the plate with our server who ultimately ended up sharing that he thought “prime rib” was short for “ribeye”, management finally got my husband prime rib. And the side dish that we ordered arrived as well. We were comped $12 for our drinks that we had to wait on and then we received our $14 side for free. No comp on the $53 entree. We were offered complimentary dessert but we declined it as we had no desire to wait Perry’s seemingly standard wait time. For the prices at Perry’s service should be 5 star. It was not for us.
They staff at Perry's was fabulous, everyone was helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was great, best steak in a long time, and loved my cocktail. We waited a bit for entrees but it was a holiday so not unexpected. We will definitely be back.
Service was shockingly bad. Very rude hostess and I can’t even remember having a more rude waiter. Only highlight was the guy who delivered our food and brought us requested condiments.
Food was mediocre at best.
Second trip to Perry’s and had one disappointment which was our sides came out after we had already eaten most of our entree. We had a group of seven with lots of different dishes to sample with steaks the best, of course, and the oysters and grilled octopus appetizers best as well. Calamari just so so. Needs to step up service to meet prices.
The restaurant is a nice place but feel like I’ve been to better steakhouses. Not worth the hype. Great service tho!
The food is fabulously delicious. The pork chop bites and steaks are tender and juicy. The staff is extremely friendly with a great sense of humor. My husband enjoyed his Father’s Day.
We were full the rest of the night.
Go for the Sunday porkchop dinner....Best value and could feed two people. Everything else was over priced and subpar. Our waiter was great and the bread was wonderful.
All the food was excellent although the pears in our salad were replaced with canned mandarin orange segments and we weren’t advised of that ever. Our server was very professional.
Wonderful experience! Would recommend to others! The wait staff was amazing and the food was even more amazing!
My wife decided to try Perry’s for our Anniversary/Father’s Day dinner. We have dinned all over the world, and the food, service and ambience were literally the best we have ever experienced. We look forward to bringing our friends and family to share in the experience of Perry’s dining.
All the best,
The atmosphere is very intimate, service is top tier, and food is savory!
The server I had was Michael. His service from start to finish was not good. We had to ask multiple times for items such as straws and drinks. One of the drinks that we requested came in a glass bottle which was not a twist cap. Michael brought it to the table unopened and before leaving did not open it. We had to as another server to open it for us. He also brought out my food with hair in it and we showed it to him before he even was able to walk away from the table after placing it. We did request a remake of the dish which was brought by another server and things were better.
Overall my family will be dining at the location again but would prefer not to have Michael as a server.
Great food and service!
It was our first time at Perry’s and it was absolutely phenomenal! I was so excited to see so many Gluten Free options for my daughter and husband. My 9 year was beyond happy to be able to pick whatever she wanted with no worry! As she put it, “this is heaven”!
The service was ok. It took at least 50 minutes for our order to arrive. For it to be warm at best. The taste was ok. I’ve had better. I don’t see myself coming back anytime soon.
Food was fair.
The steaks were amazing! We ordered 3 appetizers for the table and two came out after a long wait (which we were prepared for) but the third (chargrilled oysters did not come out until just before our steaks). The manager brought them out but never offered to comp then although we spent well over $600. We arrived on time and were seated within 15 minutes but the entire meal took close to 3 hours. The drinks were excellent as well.
Overall, it was a great experience! Beautiful atmosphere, great food. The roasted corn was amazing! Lobster mac was delicious, lamb chops cooked superbly! My only suggestions might be: get an early reservation time, and not on a weekend. My sister went at 5:30pm, was done by 6:45pm. Our reservation was at 7:30pm, we were seated promptly. Got my salad at about 8, we got entrees at 8:49 pm! I would also include that the dress code apparently is not a deal breaker. We made sure to be compliant and dressed in the business casual specified, but there were sneakers, jeans, and scantiliy clad women. Not a problem, but just letting you know, if you don't adhere to business casual, it's not a deal breaker. All in all, we had a lovely evening! Oh, and please don't take your kids, people are paying decent money, it's not a place for kids.
The food was not great. It was just ok. The chargrilled vegetables and lobster tails had absolutely no seasoning. The steak was good because it was bacon wrapped so that gave it flavor. The clump crab meat they add on top was a joke (very greedy with their crabmeat). The asparagus that came with the steak also had no seasoning. Our food took 45 mins to arrive and all that was said was "The manager will bring out your food", they did, and did not say one word. The creamed corn tasted like a Mexican dish I've had. We also had the pork chop bites and those were a little too sweet for my liking but they weren't bad and had a lot of flavor which was better than no flavor at all. The best thing I had was the prosecco and bread! I would never go again. I'd visit a Ruth Chris or Rey's. I was looking forward for this and I was just disappointed.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The only negative thing concerning our dining experience, was we waited too long for oyster appetizers. When we did receive the polyesters, they weren’t good. The staff was great, as was majority of our food
Food was great! Food was a bit slow coming out but they were gracious enough to comp dessert on their own… we never made a complaint!
Had reservations arrived early and was seated fast. Had table near main pathway which I wasn’t too excited about (a lot of foot traffic). Took over 40mins for main course to come out. My salmon was over cooked. Plates was very hot but food was luke warm. Staff attempted to correct the problem by rewarming food but it only made salmon mire dried out. The cost is modest if the 1st impression of the food is cooked to order
One of the BEST meals we have celebrated in a long time. The service was amazing and the whole experience was worth an early reservation to celebrate Father's Day. Dad had the pork chops and I had the sea bass which was prepared to perfection.
We sat closer to the kitchen and it was pretty loud, especially when they yelled heads up.
Waited over 1.5 hrs for food. Complete chaos and people trying to enter with obscene shirts. Did not enjoy except with my company
Nice atmosphere, lobster Mac and cheese AMAZING otherwise overrated and overpriced. Our food came out cold and took 45 minutes so they took a 100 off the bill and the rest of our food was alright. Additionally, they took our food and warmed it up in the microwave and initially that was all they had planned to do. They brought the check with no modifications. I asked for the manger to come back and then they made adjustments in the check. Not the best first experience.
First time at Perry's and it was absolutely delish. I will be back.
Over priced, under cooked
Everything was wonderful food service and drinks were excellent. Our waitress was wonderful and very attentive. We’ll definitely be back again
The ambiance is lovely, and the food was great; however, there were two main issues with our visit:
1. There were a lot of fruit flies in the restaurant. We understand it's summer, but it was disconcerting to see so many at our table.
2. The lunch time service on our Friday afternoon visit was slow and terrible despite there being only a few other occupied tables in the restaurant at that time. Our server, Shaun (not sure of the spelling), was nice but super-slow. Our reservation was at 12noon; the first person in our party arrived on time and was promptly seated. The server started out good by promptly greeting, taking the order for and returning the drink for the first person. The other two people in the party arrived around 12:15pm. It took him 10 minutes to return to the table after they arrived. It then took another 15 minutes to bring back another Moscow Mule for the second person who ordered it and to take the food orders. We also asked our server for sweet teas twice, and he never brought them. I'm not sure when he put in the food order, but we didn't receive our food until 12:55pm. Elijah (not sure what his role is) ended up saving the meal by not only bringing our food to the table when it was ready, but he also brought condiments, the sweet teas we never got from Shaun, boxes for leftovers and making sure we were good. He was polite, helpful, efficient and just generally awesome; he would make a great server.
Not sure we would return here for lunch unless the fruit flies are handled and the service gets better.
Everything was fine except my steak was over cooked. Also took a while to get our tickets and was never offered drinks.
Great experience from the friendly complimentary valet staff to the attentive wait/service staff , to the fantastic meals. We will be back!
I felt as if they were discriminative when it comes to tattoos and African-Women natural bodies. Need to be a more considerate/careful on what they police and enforce when it comes to the dress code.
It seemed as we were an afterthought. Service was poor. We weren’t asked how our meal was. The filet was rare when we asked for medium. Lobster was over cooked.
Wonderful experience. Great service, delicious food. Timely. Will definitely be back!
