Went for dinner date with wife. Enjoyed the experience overall. Waiter was attentive and personable. Prices for experience are as one would expect
I made a reservation for my best friend's birthday and we were sat at a great time and speed. Unfortunately once we were sat we waited over 20 minutes before anyone even came and took our drink order. After I asked, what I believe was the floor manager, if we could get a server because people around us that sat after us had already received their drink order and their appetizer order were finally served 10 minutes later. After that our server Bre was so sweet, apologetic for the confusion and was such a great help with us. We really enjoyed out experience and will even be back again. It was just extremely irritating that we did not even get a "Have you been helped yet?" by anybody that passed our table within those 20 minutes of sitting there with no drink or server. The view was absolutely stunning and I cannot wait to go back to see again.
Steak was burnt and over cooked
Fried asparagus had no flavor- it was not season well
When I ask my guest/clients about the food they said it was OK.
I would recommend Perry’s for the pork chop but not recommend it for the steak.
Food and service were excellent. A large table was seated next to us on the patio and they were quite noisy, which made the experience less enjoyable. I think the large party tables should be set next to the windows and allow the tables with less people to sit in front of them instead of back where you have the noise and distraction of so many people. We could hardly hear each other until they left.
1st timers. We ordered appetizers and drinks to start off. The drinks did not arrive until after we had finished the appetizers. We then ordered our food and waiter got my fiancé’s order completely wrong. Instead of taking the plate back, took it upon himself to simply just come back to our table with one dish of two bacon strips another dish with asparagus/crab. Our table was full of small plates truly a very overwhelming table set up. The waiter never checked if we needed anything or refilled our drinks. Our plates were left on the table until the moment we paid and were getting up from the table. I was really looking forward to impress my fiancé with this dinner and honestly I was completely let down.
It was our 5th year wedding anniversary. The best thing about this experience was the atmosphere. It was very nice. The food was ok. The drinks were really good.
Extremely slow service
This was not my first time, but every time I go to Perry’s it’s always a Beautiful great time. My fiancé and I love going here and the new location in down town Dallas is very Gorgeous from the inside of the building looking out the building. Looking to impress your date bring her down to Perry’s, you can’t go wrong with this place.

First time visitor for my husband’s 50th bday! Food was amazing! Often food at that price point does not live up to the pricing, but not true here! Absolutely worth every penny! We are still talking about how much we all enjoyed our meals! Trying to figure out how you make steak melt in your mouth like butter 😊
Side note- hostess tried to ruin the surprise and was very accommodating. Luckily, it all worked out
When my party 1st arrived, we were seated over in a side room, sat there over 25 mins unnoticed,no water, bread ,welcome, just totally ignored until I got up and ask a waiter, were we going to be waited on,and to move us to center of restuarant..we were then waited on by Alexander, which he was polite but very slow or forgetful.l,not good for 1st visit. My friend ask for lemons and hot water which lemons had hair on them..
Food good,service coulda been better.
Perry’s never disappoints! It was a hit
Excellent service and attention to detail.
Not celebrating my 25th anniversary at Perrys like we celebrate birthday parties and special occasions we enjoy eating there but this time was different the place is spectacular a sight to behold but we had gnats attacking my bourbon which I thought might have been in the bottle to begin with but when she bring the drink out the bugs will get in my drink and that was pretty annoying and they tried to sit me by the wait staff area but had no problem moving me to a nicer seat and my steak was well done and should have been medium well and nobody apologized or try to make Buzz feel better about the situation
The new vegetarian options on the menu were outstanding. I'm so excited and thankful Perry's is offering vegetarian options now. I hope they'll keep the vegan steak on the menu. Our server Taeja was amazing - so accommodating and attentive, but polite. The finish out and ambiance at their new location on Klyde Warren is beautiful!
Great food, but service less than attentive. They need more servers or others that can stop by once in a while. I’d expect better service in a place such as this.
Hostess is terrible even with a reservation. Wide open dining room and 7+ tables outside on a Monday night and she insisted we sit upstairs. I politely refused and was persistent. After 30 seconds she relented and said we could sit “near” the outside. A waiter with a clue took us and sat us outside. Victor our server was excellent. Cocktails were well done. Steaks tasted great but one ordered medium came out very rare. We had to send it back which shouldn’t happen at a steak house. My husband had a piece of plastic in his chicken parm but we didn’t say anything because we already sent the steaks back. If I was local I would give it one more try before ruling it out.
The new locations was amazing! From being greeted at the front, to our waitress China and management
My Birthday Dinner Turned into a Proposal lol! So it Went Perfect! We Actually Went Viral On Facebook so I’m Sure It Will be Getting A lot of Reservation Request Soon’
We were served by Angie. She was great. Sat outside on the patio. Pretty loud since close to the street and Klyde Warren Park. That didn’t bother us, but might bother some people. Overall it was very good. We go often and appreciate the consistently good service and food.
The exceptional service that Perry's displayed was nothing short of amazing. From making the reservation, to being greeted by the hostess, to our phenomenal server attention towards each guest....just awesome. Thank you Perry's and I will be back!
Me and my fiance had a great night definitely will be returning great atmosphere very elegant and good vibes.
It seems Perry’s turns into a sports bar after 9pm and not a fine dining experience.
Great food and Andres our server was incredibly attentive though the restaurant was bysy
The view of downtown from our table was beautiful. Food and service was top notch, only minor complaint is that the cream Spinach was cold when.
Will definitely come here again
I really did enjoy this restaurant. I have marked it as one of my Dallas sites. Thanks for the wonderful tasting food and environment.
Went to celebrate the Bride to Be! Everything was amazing! Perry’s never disappoints!
I dine at Perry’s once a week. The worst experience ever!!!
Place can be loud with music and number of people in the restaurant.
First disappointing experience at Perrys. Made a reservation to sit outside, got there right on time yet were told there was a 15-30 minute wait. After 30 minutes went and asked if table was ready to be scrambled at sat in bar area, not outside. Ordered at drink right as we sat down and didn’t get it until 20 minutes later with our appetizer.
The absolute worst part was my filet came out cold, not cool or Luke warm, COLD. I told the server who got the manager and he seemed annoyed that I was telling him it was COLD, no I was telling him because I wanted it to be warmed up.
I wrote an email to let management know about my experience the very next day and never heard a word back. Very very disappointed with this new location, you are so much better than this.
Had reservations and still had to wait 30 minutes. Service was very slow. Dinner took 2.5 hours. Way too long. The bar area is very nice but very loud now and hard to converse especially if patio is open. You can hear the highway. Won't return.
The strawberries weren’t sweet on my dessert and the cake was very dry, this is my favorite dessert option, so I’ve had it many times, yet it was not enjoyable this time around.
I admit that when I made our reservations I did not realize that Perry's had a new location. We expected to be seated in the dining room and were seated in the bar/patio. My fault, but VERY disappointing. The service was terrible! Our waiter was too busy to give quality service to any of his tables. Plates were not cleared without asking and our glasses remained empty most of the night. We ordered cocktails and appetizer - the calamari was average. Capital Grill is much better! Warm bacon salad and lobster bisque (tastier at Dean Fearing's) were lukewarm. We never received bread. Our entree took an unusual amount of time to come (especially since appetizer and soup/salad were on top of each other!). We both ordered filet mignon and shared fried asparagus and loaded whipped potatoes. The asparagus was over cooked, soggy and dripping in butter/grease. The potatoes were delicious, but the steaks were so salty they were hard to enjoy (Bob's Chop House has them beat!). We ordered the signature Nutty d'Angelo-overrated! And, the waiter that cooked it table-side ran his fingers through his hair no less than three times while cooking. Gross! The drinks are overpriced; however, to be expected. We had eaten at the old location several times and were very pleased. I think Perry's has overstepped and needs to reevaluate what they are trying to accomplish. It was a painful 3.5 hour experience. Personally, I would say spend your money somewhere else. We won't be back.
We made our reservation 2 months in advance for our daughters 20th birthday. When we arrived on time, we still waited 25 minutes. The table we reserved went to someone else, so we were put in the bar - - we wanted a white table cloth celebration and we got a very loud bar experience at a super small table. The hostess was rude to put it mildly.
We tried to order the carpaccio (the reason we went), but at 7-7:30pm on a Saturday night, they didn't have any - How does a steakhouse not have carpaccio? - - The manager offered to comp our appetizers, so the waiter took it upon himself to order what he wanted. We did not like what the waiter ordered when we found out he ordered. When our revised appetizers arrived, we still did not get what we ordered (nor what the waiter ordered). The lobster mac n cheese was dry, the creamed spinach had little cream and little cheese and was very dry and tough. Steak tasted great - - Overall, very very poor execution for a top star steakhouse.
Our waiter was awesome perfect customer the food and drinks took way to long. Do not recommend on a sat
Steak was decent but overpriced. Was expecting a nicer environment due to the website. Dress code not enforced. Menu is a la carte. Meaning you pay for every single item that you want. For pricing I was expecting a much better experience.
Service was outstanding. The food was amazing. Drinks was great. Overall a great place for a great mean and experience.
We were seated at 5 PM we did not get our food until 7:45 PM and we almost missed our party afterward.
Sat in bar area, which was much louder with slower service than dining room, which was booked up. Will definitely wait for dining room next time. Love Perry’s but disappointed this time.
Perry's has moved locations since I last visited, but the food as stayed the same. The food is very good for a Dallas steakhouse.
