It was a great place to celebrate a birthday!
This place is about presentation. Some dishes are great, some are pretty good, nothing is bad. I cant think of a better place for a date. Lots of exhibition. Your only challenge is to act cool when starters ,entrées and desserts are being presented at your table in awesome and creative ways
I had the pork chop for lunch and my chop was mostly fat, not meaty. maybe I just got a bad chop. everything else was good.
Food was great. Service was very good. Venue great. Simple things matter and the restaurant chose not to validate valet. Poor judgement I would say. I will not return.
Great food. Great service. Great quality. It is pricey,....but worth every penny.
Amazing experience. Had a amazing time the pork chop bites are to die for.
It’s a must try if you’ve never gone! Any occasion or just for a delicious dinner!!
Great meal on Veterans Day...pork chop was awesome! Our server and manager were extremely attentive. Sat outside and enjoyed our dinner!
Best porkchops EVER. Will change your life. The butterscotch pudding is worth writing home about.
My first visit to the Olive street site. Excellent new location!
The experience was good overall. It was too cold in the restaurant
Steak was over done. Greasy plate. Sent it back.
Food was good but steak was over cooked. A few of them were. But service was great. Cute restaurant.
Steak and lobster excelent, filete mignon Very good location Very good ambientance Very good
That pork chop was LEGIT!!
Sat in the bar area this time and clearly service are lower here compared to the dining room. Our server seemed to be in a rush to get us in and out and was rude when asked a question about the menu. Food was okay, but the au gratin potatoes were cold. When our server brought us boxes, she asked if we wanted our dessert for there or to go. I have never been to a steakhouse that asks if you want to take your dessert to go... while both people still have full glasses of wine. She then cleared the tables around us and piled the dishes on a tray and left it sitting next to our table. She continued to stack dishes on it and then put a napkin over the big pile as if that made it better. Not impressed and not worth the money.
My friend loves the porkchop. I got the filet mignon, it was okay.
Great service and fantastic food. The pork chop is to die for. The downtown views are priceless.
Everything was excellent. Loved the Panko crunch on the crab cakes. View is unmatched
Steaks are great. Fish is over cooked.
The food itself was good, but either the waiter did not communicate or the chef did not read the order. "Sauce on the side" was not honored. "Nothing spicy" it seemed the creamed corn had jalapeno in it (and nutmeg, I think) which ruined it for me. Substitute grilled vegetables for asparagus. Asparagus showed up anyhow (waiter brought grilled vegetables after it was pointed out).
The fried asparagus appetizer, which we had loved in the past, was so greasy it was near inedible. The crab cake was also very oily. Unsure what was going on that evening, but the food & communication was evidently just off.
Great view. The food is good , but a bit cliché.
I decided to bring my husband to Perry's to celebrate our 9th anniversary. In looking at the online reviews it seemed like a great option, but I was very disappointed. First and foremost, it's definitely overpriced considering the quality of the food. I don't mind paying top dollar, as long as I get what I paid for. There were some good things, such as the sauces on our filets (coffee crusted & 3 peppercorn au Poivre), the Brussel sprouts and a couple of items on the dessert sampler. However, the meat was undercooked and chewy. We asked for medium done and got rare. The cocktail I ordered was way too sweet and just plain tasting... certainly not worth $15. The king crab appetizer didn't taste very fresh. I didn't care for the cauliflower side either, and I usually love my veggies. Overall we were under impressed with the food. Mind you, we travel a lot and have eaten at plenty of high end restaurants. What didn't help our experience is how loud the music was... I felt like I was in a college bar instead of a nice, fancy steakhouse. Also, even though I reserved our table several days in advance and mentioned it was our anniversary, we got an awful table right by the kitchen... so I kept getting whiffs of cleaning chemicals during our meal. Very unpleasant!! And we had an early reservation, so why not give us a small table by the window to enjoy the beautiful view? I should've said something about it when we were seated, but I wanted it to be a special night and decided not to make a fuss. I regret my decision. Overall, we probably won't ever go back. There are much better places to go spend our money for a nice, high quality steak dinner.
Great food and atmosphere..service was great large dinning area..
The service was outstanding and the food was amazing as always.
Everything was extremely delicious. It was our 1st time patronizing Perry’s Steakhouse and I know we will definitely be back.
It was our 22nd Anniversary and I had a few request—corner table with city view and candles or rose petals. To my surprise, it was totally obliged. We enjoyed the night and the food. Thank you for making our night exceptionally beautiful.
Everything was perfect the food the service and the Ambiance!! Nice to be there at sunset to watch the skyline transform it was beautiful!! Ty ty !!
Overall we had a great experience from the seating to getting our food brought to us.
We have been long patrons of Perry's downtown and this was our first experience at their new location. Even though we truly miss the dark woods and home feeling of the old location we had a very enjoyable evening, fantastic food as usual, and service beyond any restaurant in DFW as always. Perry's will continue to be our favorite "Home".
Beautiful venue. Found the food to be lacking and over priced.
Ambiance is great. Upon arrival was seated right away. Service was great and our waiter routinely checked on our table. For drinks started with the Cucumber Blueberry Martini which was great. Food and Dessert was Amazing. Started w/the Lobster Bisque, which had plenty of lobster and seasoned to perfection. Had the Filet 6oz w/a Lobster tail, Sweet Sriracha Brussel Sprouts and Au Gratin Potatoes. Finished with the Crème Brulee. Definitely will return. Self Parking in the garage also a bonus.
I selected noise level moderate because it was fine to me. It wasn’t quiet but i don’t want it quiet. The music was playing the vibe was right
We went for our anniversary and we were treated extra special. The wait staff was amazing and so friendly. The food was perfect and drinks were perfect. Highly recommended.
