Everything was great. Food was outstanding, service was excellent. But we decided to eat in the bar at 9 PM, as we were still waiting for our reserved table from 8:30?

We had a reservation for 7:30. We weren't seated until 8. We went to the bar to get a drink during the wait and it was over 10 minutes before anyone took our order. And we had a seat at the bar so it wasn't like they didn't see us. We were there to take advantage of the Restaurant Week special. That menu wasn't presented to us. When we asked about it, the waiter still went through the entire menu and then said he would bring us the Restaurant Week menu. He didn't. We had to ask again.

I would recommend solely based on the food which was excellent. The pork chop and ribeye were very good along with the au gratin potatoes and crispy Brussels Sprouts the service to get seated however was not good at all. I had a reservation for 7:30pm and was not seated until 8:20pm. If they overbooked I would have appreciated a text or call from the restaurant so that we wouldn’t just be waiting for almost an hour at the bar to be seated. If they improve their wait time and honored reservations I know it would be sooner rather than later that I would come back.

Was not seated at reserved time.
Bar Very overcrowded no seating.
VERY LOUD.
If it wasnt for great food and an awesome waitress, we would not return.

Service was fantastic despite being jammed for restaurant week. The food was good, wine was great, and we had an enjoyable dinner.

My husband and I previously had dinner at Perry's Oak Brook and loved it about 4 months ago. This past weekend, we returned and invited another couple. The place is lively, the drinks are spectacular, and the service is good. But the food on this visit was salty, Salty, SALTY. Three of the four meals and two of the three shareable sides were so heavily salted, we didn't want to finish. We took the leftovers home in hopes it would mellow, but nope. We are not opposed to salt, in fact, we love well-seasoned foods, but someone in the back house has a heavy hand when it comes to a salt. We will try again, but not for a while. It was a shame, we hoped this would be spectacular like the first time.

Even with a reservation and visibly upen tables we waited awhile in an extremely crowded entryway. The food, as always, was wonderful. The service, this time, not so much.

Went to Perry's Saturday night during Chicago Restaurant week. It was very busy. We were seated 30 minutes after out reservation time.
Once seated service was not near as good as normal for Perry's. Maybe our server had too many tables. We had to ask to see the Restaurant week menu. Our server didn't seem happy that we asked for it and only brought 1 copy even though there were 4 of us. Drink refills and seeing our server between courses was not good. When we received our check our server had wrung it up incorrectly and it didn't properly show the Restaurant week specials. I t had to be corrected by a manager.
While service was very much lacking the food was very good.

My husband and I came here to start our Restaurant Week 2020. We usually go to at least 1 new restaurant every year, as well as go to the same 1-2 restaurants because of their Restaurant Week menus. This was our first time at Perry’s and it will certainly not be our last.

The decor was elegant. The server was friendly and was helpful in explaining some of the menu options when we had questions. We were not rushed between courses and the food was delicious . We would definitely come back again.

Ten of us were uncomfortably crammed into a small space. The great server could not even reach some of us so we had to pass things and help clear. I especially was in a chair in a corner so tight I could not move even an inch to either side and could not move back once seated. It was incredibly uncomfortable physically. However, the service was excellent and the food was as well.

Brought my friends during their wedding anniversary. They were pleasantly surprised to be greeted with anniv greetings! The table had fresh rose petals too! The wine cellar was a beautiful backdrop to the photos. Server Victor was very cordial. ‘Twas a beautiful evening; the celebrants said so. Appreciate the comp dessert other than the flambe we ordered. Food was tasty as the usual. Ambiance and noise level was just perfect as expected.
More power Perry’s and thank you!

We Really enjoyed our dinner last Sunday evening. The Sunday Pork dinner trio is a fantastic value and so delicious. We never get tired of it. This was the first time we tried the steak pizza appetizer and wow the flavors were great and it was so tender not dry. also had the stuffed mushrooms which we would get again as well.

I was a little disappointed with the waiter. I felt he was in a hurry to get our orders, etc. And than after dessert, he really didn't come back to the table for another drink or more coffee. We probably sat a good half hour-45 minutes talking and he never stopped by.

We have been to Perry’s on numerous occasions. We always make reservations and in the past everything was always excellent. On this past Friday January 17, 2020 I made a lunch reservation (2) it was for my husband’s birthday, the table that we were led to was awful! It was wedged against a wall in a high traffic area where we hardly had room to even stretch our arms without coming in contact with the table close to us, and hardly any room for the server. We told the young man that led us to the table that it was not acceptable and could he please seat us somewhere else. He responded that there was nothing else available. We went to the bar area for our meal. I was disappointed because this had never happened to us at Perry’s before. I cannot understand that as large as the dining room is, he could not have seated us somewhere else, even if we would have to have waited awhile for another table to become available, that would have been ok however; he never suggested that.

Friday lunch pork chop special is not gluten free.
No gluten free bread served.
Desserts are outstanding but coffee is served lukewarm. Coffee always need to be hot.

Most of the time I get their famous Pork Chop. This time I decided to do something different. I ordered an appetizer first and then I ordered my Pork Chop. It was a great meal.
