Great food and service
Great birthday dinner! Me and my boyfriend enjoy coming here on dates, the best steak, cocktails, and service!
We have always went to the Brazilian places and wanted to try something new. It was one of the best filet mignon I have had. It had lots of flavor and very juicy. My husband is hard to please but he also loved his ribeye.
The food at Perry's never disappoints, although we tried a new appetizer that fell a little short. The BBQ octopus for $22 was disappointing. Very small portion and lacked flavor. The cowboy ribeye, lllyonaisse potatoes and fried asparagus was awesome! My husband and I shared all three. Rudy, our server was very attentive. We request him whenever we go there.
We were there to celebrate a birthday. We met a family who had been to Perry's before. They were full of praise for your restaurant. We also had heard from a family member who also extolled the virtues of the pork chop. We were not disappointed. Our only complaint would be the noise level.
My experience on this night was different. My husband and I ordered a pork chop it was just ok. It was a bit fatty. I ate half of the pork chop my husband ordered the lamb chops which he loved!! The manager made it right for us we will go again. :)
Very good. Service was great!
Experience has been perfect in the past..but tonight....not so much..
We were there for a birthday celebration
Everything was great except the noise level. Very hard to hold a conversation without shouting. The food was amazing.
Outstanding. It was my daughters birthday and everything was perfect. Perry’s is the best!
Food was good. Service was extremely lacking. Won’t be coming back or recommending it. Made a special occasion less than memorable. Very disappointing.
Our waiter was a big up seller. Only recommended the most expensive things on the menu. He also recommended the most expensive appetizer on the menu. Looking back, I wanted to try the risotto special, and he said it was ok. I think the reason he said it was not very good is because it was only $45 versus getting a steak and then a side. He of course recommended one of the more expensive steaks. We had the cowboy steak, it was good, but a little extra fatty and chewy. At the end of the night one of us wanted a cappuccino and he said he’s not very good at making cappuccinos. I believe the reason was they wanted to add our table to a group of tables they were putting together. So, realizing this, I said regardless of your cappuccino skills, can we still have a cappuccino. The cappuccino came and it was very good. He said, “oh it’s the best one I ever made.” He obviously didn’t want us to stay later. I gave him a good tip because I realize I am tipping for the restaurant staff not just him. But, I would not like this same server again. I would go back but not ask the server for any recommendations. Overall, this is a step up from Wildfire, but not by much. I did appreciate they had lots of red wines by the glass. The food is good, but not exceptional. Overall I do think it’s a good value.
I had the pork chop it was delicious I just wish the mashed potatoes were homemade and tasted better they were kind of plain.
It was a wonderful experience. We were looking for a place to celebrate our anniversary and it exceeded all expectations. Can't wait to do it again.
Outstandind food and service as usual. Highly recommended.
Haver you had the pork chop? It SHOULD be named the LIFE CHANGING PORK CHOP!! Its as good as a steak at any place you ever ate one! Its THAT GOOD!! EAT. THE. CHOP.
The food is delicious and ourstanding customer service, thank you
Flies/gnats all over the table.. Told the manager and he said “ya, we are working on that”
$40 Seafood ripoff had two shrimp, 2 small bowls of terrible crab, 4 oysters, and a lobster that looked like it had been served before.
The steak... throw a lot of salt and pepper on any steak and it will taste ok.
When I pay $450.00 fora dinner it should be perfect.
Far from it..
NEVERMORE quoth the raven, nevermore.
Creme corn was not desirable. Unique flavor combination to put with high end steaks. Keep it simple and modify to a more traditional recipe
Overall one of my favorite steakhouses. Had the bone in ribeye cowboy cut. Best ribeye I’ve had. Great flavor and tenderness. We had whipped potatoes, cut fries, fried calamari, asparagus with crabmeat. And cheesecake for dessert. Everything was wonderful and full of flavor. Will keep coming back!!
Everything was wonderful except the coffee. Next time I will pass on the coffee and get a port.
For years my steak house was Morton in Naperville, a good place to eat, drink and have a good time, my daughter gave me a gift card for Perry's, we went the first time, since then we been there 3 times and more to come, good place since the moment we enter, till the moment we leave, the best steaks, very good wine collection, just a excellent place to eat, drink and love the desserts.
Atmosphere was perfect; noise level was low and the staff was very attentive to our needs. Wonderful eating experience.
Terrific meal, outstanding drinks, and impeccable service. Well done.... again!!!!!
We went for the lunch special and as always satisfied! We love the famous pork chop!
The smoked pork chop Friday special is the best value in town! So juicy and flavorful. For the vegetarians, the spaghetti squash primavera is one of the best dishes I have ever eaten!
I had family out of town and told them about the pork chop Friday lunch special. After they experienced it with me recently they were all in agreement on how incredible it was. Top notch.
Perry’s excellent as usual Jamie and Michael the best
Service was great, The pork chop special was amazing as usual. No better value for 50 miles.
We went for Thanksgiving. service was painfully slow (the one person who got a salad got it and finished it and had it taken away before our initial drinks were brought! I did speed up after that when we asked about it. And to be fair it was a holiday so this was not the norm!). I only have steak a handful of times a year, I’ll make it once or twice and then usually at nice steakhouses but nowhere else, so I tend to be picky. I splurged and got the bone-in filet. It may have been the best steak I’ve ever had. I like mine cooked medium rare closer to rare and it was done perfectly. The meat itself is great quality. Everyone was raving. I definitely need to remember to go more often! I really want to try the pork chop but it’s honestly so hard to pass up a steak. They also have a great wine menu! Definitely worth checking out for a special occasion or date night.
Rudy is the best waiter you can get.
The food was amazing and cooked to perfection, my steak was better then what I’ve been served at Morton’s or Gibson’s in the past!
Victor was our waiter, he took our table from another waiter who was supposed to have our table. That waiter did help us once or twice and he was much more skilled than Victor, warmer, aware of what we needed, lots more personality; etc. Victor left us 2 separate times for 15-20 minutes during the dinner and was very slow and not taking a scan of the tables and looking for clues that he was needed.
The thanksgiving dinnner platter was terrible, not good food. Not worth $45. All the other food was very good.
The food was excellent. Steaks were perfect, the sides delicious. Service was excellent. Server was informed and very helpful. All in all a wonderful time.
Nice service but food was subpar. Thanksgiving meal turkey was dry with a heap of gravy on it to disguise it. Others who ordered steak found it super salty as just not what a prime steak should taste like along with vegetables they were just ok. Maybe if I was at a Texas Roadhouse I wouldn’t complain so much. Unappetizing food that no matter how good the service just doesn’t cut it.
Perry's Steakhouse & Grille in Oak Brook, IL is the perfect location to celebrate a special occasion. I went there with two friends to celebrate my 52nd birthday on the Wednesday evening before Thanksgiving. The atmosphere was elegant and comfortable! We were given a large booth in the back of the restaurant, which was a great spot without a lot of foot traffic and we could see the chefs cooking nearby. I am allergic to all seafood, and the waiter was very knowledgeable about which sides I could have and should not have (Lyonnaise Potatoes or Steak Fries). I ordered a regular 8 oz Filet Mignon with a baked potato. The waiter let me know that it would NOT have butter on top because that includes anchovy paste. I was appreciative he shared that tidbit so I could avoid it whenever I order a steak while eating out. One of my friends ordered the 8 oz Filet Perry (topped with crabmeat and wrapped in smoked bacon), but requested it rare with a side of spinach. Both of our steaks were cooked perfectly. My other friend had the Symphony Kabob, which is a hanging presentation of beef tenderloin, lobster and shrimp served with steamed asparagus. The Symphony Kabob looked interesting as a server came tableside to remove the food from a large hook and put it on a special metal plate to serve to my friend. All components of the Symphony Kabob were cooked perfectly! For dessert, I had the White Chocolate Cheesecake with a birthday candle and my friends shared the Creme Brulee. The waiter was nice enough to help sing Happy Birthday to me and he had a great singing voice. I had iced tea all evening, and my friends enjoyed beers and wines. We were there for three hours and thoroughly enjoyed the good food and atmosphere. I plan to be back!
I regret my decision in selecting this restaurant. My goal was to provide my husband with an excellent dining experience on his birthday. I missed the mark this year.
The food was simply excellent and our server Victor is the best!
Always a good variety of food
