The steaks were amazing as always, the seafood tower appetizer however left something to be desired. The crab was overcooked and there was a lot of open space on the bowl that was filled with just Ice, not worth the cost.
Food was perfect as always. Our server was excellent. Not intrusive, but had a great sense of humor.
Ordered kabob. Steak very undercooked compared to how it was ordered and had to be sent back. Although manager came to table to apologize, really marred my wife’s birthday dinner. There is no excuse for a steakhouse not to be able to cook meat as ordered.
This particular trip did not meet normal standards. The wait was unusually long and our food was cold. This is the first time this has happened and we will try again to see if this was an aberration or a decline in quality.
Good meal. Outstanding service! Austin was our waiter and he was Awesome! The food was good but I would not say outstanding. The dessert (deconstructed lemon pie) was to die for though!
The pork was extremely dry. Quite disappointing as this is supposed to be Perry’s signature dish.
Wonderful food. Great service. Our server was Samantha Johnson. She did an excellent job answering any questions we had regarding menu items.
Service by Troy was excellent and food was amazing. Great for birthday celebrations.
The service was amazing!! Our waiter always made sure we were ok. We ordered the Famous Perry's Pork Chop and it lived up to it's name. We will being going back for sure.
Almost everything was absolutely great. The one disappointment was dessert - the bananas foster failed for us.
Outstanding as usual!
We loved it so much here the food was great and the waiter was the nicest ever
Our server got half of our meals wrong, and the steak was cold.
Perry's Steakhouse is a solid choice for special occasions. Steaks are always a great choice and the pork chop is amazing. Salads, sides and desserts are great for sharing. Always a great meal and recommended for all.
Haven't been in several years. No reason. It would have to be an occasion restaurant. Almost all entree in the $40+ range and everything is ala carte. Comfortably figure with a cocktail and food $75. per person and easy to go north of that. There is a $4.00 valet parking fee also.
Food was excellent and the wait staff was very attentive.
Another great night at Perry’s! They changed their seafood selection. The dish my wife ordered had been changed. Due to a pepper allergy my wife could not order it as served. The Manager bent over backwards to ensure my wife could have the dish. Excellent and responsive! Still best Bone In Ribeye in town.
I had guys in from New York and Atlanta and they all raved about the quality of the food. Big hit with all and these guys literally travel the world.
Went for my wife’s birthday. With the exception of a well done filet that was supposed to be medium, the food was very good, service was very slow, lots of people standing around, few working, waited almost 30 minutes for a medium filet, by the time they delivered her steak cooked properly our dinner was cold. Nice decor with obviously no dress code enforced, people in tee shirts, ball caps and work out clothes. Pretty uncivilized experience.
Always a pleasure to dine here.... Great atmosphere, food and drinks
Being a regular in the fine dining world, my expectations were high but not outrageous. I have dined at your location more than once and we were very unsatisfied with the experience your team gave us. Our reservation was at 9:15 pm on a Saturday night. We were sat near 10:00pm after the hostess lied to everyone saying they would be sat near their reservation time when we first arrived. Finally we got sat, if a server greets his table and then doesn't return for 20 minutes with waters do you think that is acceptable after waiting past my reservation already???. We ordered 2 cocktails at the initial greet and we waited an additional 10 minutes after the water for that. He did not feature any items at first, then I requested and he was less than pleased in describing them. It was my and my twins 26th Birthday dinner (Who came from Baton Rouge Louisiana to celebrate with me) that cost us $400 for 4 people. $100/person is a statement from your place of business to be assure us top notch service. It was Saturday 2/17/18 and we did not receive entrees until 11:15. Service was horrible. Take away tables from servers who can not attend to their customers. He would neglect us for 20 minutes at a time. I waited tables in fine dining steakhouses as a college student so I know how it is ran. Watch the employees closer and when a restaurant is busy and behind, have a manager stop at a table because we asked twice and never saw a manager. No compensation to us.
The food is always amazing here and the drinks are as well. Cant go wrong with this restaurant selection.
*UPDATE: The manager contacted us and remedied everything and apologized. I am impressed by Perry's and the manager's dedication to striving for Perry's to be exceptional every visit and treating customers as top priority. Perry's is fantastic!
The last two times we have been to the Memorial City Perry's, it has not been up to par. The first time & next few times, it was spectacular! The pork chop was to die for! The Lyonnaise Potatoes are extraordinary! The last time before this visit, the pork chop was not nearly as notable. The Lyonnaise potatoes were still delicious, though. This time, our reservation was at 8:15. We arrived around 7:30, but we found the front area to be packed. We tried to check in & the hostess informed us we would not be seated until closer to 8:15. That was fine & expected. We killed time at the Memorial City mall. We returned at 8:15pm. It was still somewhat crowded & became moreso as we waited. We had to wait 10 minutes plus to be seated. Not happy. It also took a while for our server to initially approach us. All of this was remedied by the manager, without us even complaining or mentioning our wait. He approached our table & brought us a complimentary appetizer, with apologies due to us having to wait a while in spite of our reservations. I was very impressed by his diligence & awareness of his customers. This was highly impressive & very appreciated. After we ordered, we had to wait over 45 min. for our food to be served. I don't know if the kitchen was overloaded or what the problem was. They also forgot to serve us one of our side items. However, we asked our server to remove the side item from the bill. We were not necessarily angry. We will be back again. But, this visit was not the usual Perry's experience. We will return, albeit it will not be our first choice due to the past most recent experiences. I hope the future visits to Perry's will redeem into our initial first-time experience. Exceptional service, however!
Took my bride out for Valentine’s. Chose Perry’s because of great past experience. Immediately noticed the place was way too full of people.
We walked to our table, and ended up in the very back of the “extra” dining room. We have been going to this Perry’s for several years and had never been into this area ultras it was for a larger group event.
The air was musty, humid, and there seemed to be a very low level of service personnel, when compared to the main dining room.
Service was almost non-existent, with no dedicated support staff in the area. Our waiter was obviously trying, which was appreciated,,and the food was fine (not awesome) ... but when we ordered a drink at 8:52, and still didn’t have it at 9:15, we knew it was time to go.
The manager happened to come by, and made the mistake of asking us how our experience was .... so we told him. He apologized profusely, and comped our dinner .... certainly appreciated. But honestly, as we walked out, through the main dining room, brimming with servers, staff, and air conditioning ..., I knew we would not be back any time soon.
Perry’s should know better. If you can’t cover your tables, don’t take a reservation.
Busy Saturday night. You need to have reservations. Everything went well. Not over the top good but very nice. Drinks took too long to get during dinner, but was comped with out asking. There are better steak house in town, but this one is above average.
Amazing Food... service and atmosphere! Great for special occasions... we received a free dessert!
The atmosphere. The chairs. The seating. The drinks. The cuisine. The professional service. Top shelf across the board. Excellent. Just excellent.
Mother in law birthday celebration. Waiter was very good with our large group. The food was very good and everyone enjoyed the pork chop.
We were out to celebrate and Perry’s did not disappoint. The atmosphere, the service, and the food were all exceptional.
I came here with my husband to celebrate Valentines day and it was everything we hoped for. The food was the best we have had in any other steakhouse in Houston and the experience was lovely. Definitely going again!
I love the new remodel. It is sophisticated, modern, and inviting all at once. The stepped up music is a hit with me. The food and service were spot on as well.
Valentine’s Day. The service was lacking and the food was not what I normally expect from Perrys
My husband and I chose Perry's for our Vday dinner and it was very disappointing. They had a Valentine's dinner menu that you had to select from, which was a turn off because we couldn't choose our sides. So we paid over $250 and were stuck with raw "steamed" vegetables and whipped potatoes. Our medium steak was very very rare, and our waiter Austin was horrible. He complained the entire time about having to work so much and wanting to go home. He wasn't professional at all, and kept reaching over our plates... which seems pretty slack for Perry's Steakhouse. Not to mention our drinks only got refilled twice and we were there for over 1.5 hours.
We had a reservation but it was on Valentine’s Day so I will cut them some slack. However our waiter was not very personable and the food took a very long time to come; again because it was Valentine’s Day. I also spilled a drink at the bar at which time the hostess called us for our table. Instead of having someone carry my 3 mini martinis, my husband had to carefully carry them himself. I didn’t think that was very appropriate but again it was Valentine’s Day.
The waitress was horrible, so I really can't fault Perry's directly. She was slow and unconcerned and it wasn't just me, everyone in our section complained. Other than that, I thought it was a nice Valentine's Dinner. I did not like the fact they had a limited menu, but I understood given the volume of guests they were expecting.
We enjoy the food at Perry’s and visit often. The food was very good, they had a special preset menu for Valentine’s Day. Our server was nice but it wasn’t the best service we have had at Perry’s and what would be expected for this price point. We did enjoy our evening and it was a nice dinner.
The service was subpar for any restaurant. Our waiter was new, and possibly we were his first table ever. The vegetables were raw, and there was s piece of plastic in my dessert.
Great pick for valentine's day! Loved the selection on the set menu. Would definitely go back!
We celebrated our good friend’s birthday. We usually dine in Sugar Land and Cinco Ranch locations. We found out this location with some friends about a week ago. The food is not too salty in compared with the others. The dinning room is spacious and the lighting not too dark in compare with others. The services were courteous, attentive and friendly. The food are delicious. Although, this location is far from our home, we definitely will be back in the nearly future.
